I had called and talked to one of the nurses about taking my cat Stella in, I had told her that she was sick and possibly had some sort of cancer/infection in her mouth and wasn't doing so well. So i made an appointment the next day for 10am. My sister and I arrived about 20 minutes early, hoping we'd be seen sooner, considering my cat was very ill. We weren't. We had dogs who were being dropped off for boarding, cats who needed baths, seen before my sick cat. Already, I was a bit irritated. We waited about half an hour, payed almost 40$ just to state the obvious. That my cat was going to need extensive care and she was slowly dying. Before we left this place that day, I had asked about euthanization, and what time a doctor would be here the next day for that. She told me 9:00am. No problem. Took my cat home, let her live her last day to the fullest. Now this was a bit of my fault, I didn't really set an appointment for the next day.
So the next day comes, it's 8:20am, I called, spoke to a different nurse on the phone, and asked if we could come in at 9:00am, and have Stella be put to sleep. She tells me the earliest a doctor could be in was 10. Alittle bamboozled there, but she was able to pull some strings, very grateful for that. We bring in Stella, fill out the paper work, and Dr. WESLEY COCHRAN. The most heartless doctor took care of our cat. He came in and did another exam on her, telling us about his 40+ year experience and how she had all these things wrong with her. Not only was she was freaked out, but so was I. I told him that we were putting her to sleep, and that i'd already filled out the paperwork. He left the little vet office, came back with the formula, and we slowly waited for her to pass. -Now keep in mind, it wasn't me there. My grandma, sister (who was bawling her eyes out) and my older brother was there too- HE can back in the third and final time, picking her up, laying her on her side. JUST COMPLETE HEARTLESS ACTIONS. He couldn't have waited to do that, after we left?!!! We're sobbing in that room, and not once does he ask if we were okay. Had to ask him to get us some tissues. NEVER COMING BACK. The staff was ight, The one doctor we had the previous day was fantastic, wish i could have grabbed her name, but the rest. Was a complete JOKE. If you cared about your pets, take the extra 15 minute drive to the vet hospital near belcher and nebraska. Atleast they have a heart. Read Less
