I don't normally write reviews good or bad but I felt compelled to write this one. I give them 5 stars but it's really not enough! We have a lab 11 years old that we noticed wasn't feeling very well...
I don't normally write reviews good or bad but I felt compelled to write this one. I give them 5 stars but it's really not enough! We have a lab 11 years old that we noticed wasn't feeling very well so we took him to our normal vet. They did blood, x-ray etc.. and diagnosed a tumor on his spleen, gave us some medicine and basically sent him home to die. We decided to get a second opinion and made an appointment with Hidden Oaks' Dr. Ivey. We explained the problem and, even though they weren't our normal Vet, fit us right in the same day. Dr. Ivey was great from the start! She sat down on the floor playing with Rocky to just get to know him. She recommended an ultra-sound and confirmed he did have a spleen problem but it looked operable. She performed a splenectomy with tumor removal and sent it off to the lab for review. During Rocky's stay, she kept us informed even texting a picture at midnight with Rocky taking his pain meds. I don't know too many Vets that would do that. Test on Spleen came back negative and I'm happy to say Rocky is currently doing great. Dr. Ivey basically saved his life and the entire staff there was great. Needless to say Rocky has a new vet and I highly recommend you to give her a try. Great job Doc and thank you!!Ron R.

I live all the way in Clearwater and wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. Dr.Ivey is so compassionate and takes her time with everything! Her staff is equally as phenomenal as she is. We have a pit who is so nervous at the vet but he LOVES Dr.Ivey! She makes you feel like family and only wants what's best for your furry family members.

I was panicked when my bunny fell ill agian. He’s 10 & I called several vets only to find out that they didn’t treat bunny’s or their vet that did, doesn’t work Fridays. I was relieved when they said they could and would see me the same day. They treated my Simon very gentle & caring. The staff was wonderful and the doctor was sooo kind. She prescribed Meds and a four days later my Simon is back to his jumpy self.
Would definitely recommend!!

This is our regular vet, we've been going here for a while, but I only now decided to Yelp it. Here are a few reasons why I give this vet 5 stars. 1) She saved my cat's life. Thurston had bladder stones and because it is a super expensive surgery, we decided to first try using prescription food to dissolve them. However, there were just too many stones in his bladder, and it got worse so we had to bring him back. We saw the x-rays show the stones had moved all the way into his urethra and were now almost completely blocking him. If we had waited even another half day, his bladder could have burst and he could have died. Shannon and staff spent hours working on him, and he then spent several days in recovery. She also gave me her personal number to call to get updates on him. They all took really good care of my baby.2) They squeezed us in for an appointment before Hurricane Irene so we could get both our boys vaccinated in case we would have had to stay in a shelter. 3) All the staff is really great. I would recommend taking your furry family member here.

We moved here last year and now have a lab puppy and two cats. We have moved 26 times over the last 29 years (military family!) and have had countless veterinarians all over the world. Dr Ivey and her staff are leagues above any vet we have ever had with their care, professionalism, kindness and attention to detail.

Dr Ivey and her staff are the best of the best. Not only do they take care of your fur babies they also help comfort your family members when you have to say good bye to a precious fur baby. They truly do care about the animals like they were their own. I can't thank them enough for all they do. You won't find any better dr and staff to take care of your fur babies. Everyone is always friendly and truly care about our fur kids. Dr. Ivy has always been wonderful about taking the time and communicating when a pet is ill. I will be forever grateful for her presence in the middle of the night when Max went to the Rainbow Bridge. She definitely goes above and beyond.

I don't normally write reviews good or bad but I felt compelled to write this one. I give them 5 stars but it's really not enough! We have a lab 11 years old that we noticed wasn't feeling very well so we took him to our normal vet. They did blood, x-ray etc.. and diagnosed a tumor on his spleen, gave us some medicine and basically sent him home to die. I was panicked when my bunny fell ill agian. He’s 10 & I called several vets only to find out that they didn’t treat bunny’s or their vet that did, doesn’t work Fridays. I was relieved when they said they could and would see me the same day. They treated my Simon very gentle & caring. The staff was wonderful and the doctor was sooo kind. Dr Heather and Dr Steve have taken the best care of our Dog that we could ever have hoped for. He has been through quite a bit and each time he has come through with flying colors. We have been with Hidden Oaks for over 10 years, we love the whole staff!
