Very disappointed with this facility. One of my dogs ripped open is jowl on a fence. He was bleeding profusely and a large piece of his jowl was detached. We called Suncoast and were told to bring him in.
The first encounter with the staff was less than reassuring, they appeared confused and and indifferent. We asked how long until he could be seen, they said " 2 hours". After 2 1/2 hours of sitting in the parking lot with no further communication or concern my partner went inside and politely ask when our dog would be seen. We were told that there was now a six hour wait. All the while my dog, in obvious discomfort and bleeding.
They were quick to invite us to come, then stacked up animals in the parking lot. Just not right. If they would have just been honest about the wait, we would have sought treatment elsewhere, which is what we did.
I would recommend avoiding this outfit. They score low on honesty, communication and compassion. As far as quality of care, your guess is as good as mine.

Over 30 years of satisfied service. From the front desk to the Drs.....these people are my extended family. I've had many animals over this time and I am so blessed to of had Suncoast Vet around .

I've been taking my Jax here for over a year. I think the vet is very personable and realistic. He informed me not to waste my money on things I thought my dog needed. I've done price comparisons and found their prices comparable to the Humane Society, military base vet and definitely cheaper than most local vets.

This vet's office is a huge rip-off. I was charged for my dog's ear infection drops but then the vet also charged me an extra $20 because he showed me how to use it, even though he never mentioned the fee. The vet also never used gloves, even though he was dealing with bacteria, then takung care of some other animal. Yuck! Horrible desk staff too!

Moved to plant city 2 years ago. Being not totally happy with the vet I was using I finally decided to go somewhere else. I was scared to change, but I'm SO GLAD I did. I don't know if Dr Logan had an appt after us, but he couldn't of because he spent forever with us. We had some major concerns and he address everyone with ownership of the problem. Thank you Dr Logan I'm so glad my Duke is in such great hands!!

Very expensive!! Called the day before we took our dog to get an estimate on the annual check up cost plus shots, as well as the Heartgard, and everything was more than quoted. We were expecting a $250-260 and our bill ending up being $336!! The vet took a simple ear swab and we were charged $34 just for it. We will not be back to this vet.

I had to push for a blood profile, he wanted to medicate without finding out what could be wrong. Just dismissed by thoughts. Asked why "I am so concerned with my dogs health and not my own". Very unprofessional. Called and let me know results were in. Left voicemail. Went in to pick them up and was "busy" so couldn't go over them with me. So I paid $155 for blood work and now I'm at home googling the results. Terrible.

This clinic is great! I've only had my dog for a year now. We took her to Banfeild hospital on Causeway, but they only seemed to care about taking our money than our dog! I decided to try this place since they had some pretty good reviews, and I drove about 30 minutes to get there. Everyone was so nice and my dog seemed so at ease (for a majority of the time), while she was shaking and crying at the other place. Dr. Logan was very personable and helpful when explaining every detail of my dog. I left feeling confident that I would be going back to them in the future!

Very busy office.. very efficient and well run. Very nice and helpful. Very professional. We took our cat "Sweet Pea" there today for some festering ear-mite issues. We will use them again.

Very disappointed with this facility. One of my dogs ripped open is jowl on a fence. He was bleeding profusely and a large piece of his jowl was detached. We called Suncoast and were told to bring him in.
The first encounter with the staff was less than reassuring, they appeared confused and and indifferent. We asked how long until he could be seen, they said " 2 hours". We were told that there was now a six hour wait. All the while my dog, in obvious discomfort and bleeding.
They were quick to invite us to come, then stacked up animals in the parking lot. Just not right. If they would have just been honest about the wait, we would have sought treatment elsewhere, which is what we did.
I would recommend avoiding this outfit. They score low on honesty, communication and compassion. As far as quality of care, your guess is as good as mine.

I've been taking my Jax here for over a year. I think the vet is very personable and realistic. He informed me not to waste my money on things I thought my dog needed. I've done price comparisons and found their prices comparable to the Humane Society, military base vet and definitely cheaper than most local vets.

This vet's office is a huge rip-off. I was charged for my dog's ear infection drops but then the vet also charged me an extra $20 because he showed me how to use it, even though he never mentioned the fee. The vet also never used gloves, even though he was dealing with bacteria, then takung care of some other animal. Yuck! Horrible desk staff too!

Moved to plant city 2 years ago. Being not totally happy with the vet I was using I finally decided to go somewhere else. I was scared to change, but I'm SO GLAD I did. I don't know if Dr Logan had an appt after us, but he couldn't of because he spent forever with us. We had some major concerns and he address everyone with ownership of the problem. Thank you Dr Logan I'm so glad my Duke is in such great hands!!

Very expensive!! Called the day before we took our dog to get an estimate on the annual check up cost plus shots, as well as the Heartgard, and everything was more than quoted. We were expecting a $250-260 and our bill ending up being $336!! The vet took a simple ear swab and we were charged $34 just for it. We will not be back to this vet.

This clinic is great! I've only had my dog for a year now. We took her to Banfeild hospital on Causeway, but they only seemed to care about taking our money than our dog! I decided to try this place since they had some pretty good reviews, and I drove about 30 minutes to get there. Everyone was so nice and my dog seemed so at ease (for a majority of the time), while she was shaking and crying at the other place. Dr. Logan was very personable and helpful when explaining every detail of my dog. I left feeling confident that I would be going back to them in the future!
