I found Dr Welsh and could not been more satisfied. His professionalism and care was outstanding. He took time to explain Hallie condition and best recommended care. Highly recommended for your pets well fair and care.

We used them for our dog and cats for years. Our animals have passed on. Writing a bad review because they are completely booked? Shame on you. This office has been the best vets office we have ever dealt with. A business can only handle so much traffic before it can either grow or become ineffective. This business is in a location that cannot get any larger. And they do not want to hurt current clients by taking on more than they can handle.

I was told by the girl to be there between 7 and 9 am to drop off my poodle Ozzie..I got there at seven and when the door was locked I walked around the back and saw Dr. B and she pointed to the front...
I was told by the girl to be there between 7 and 9 am to drop off my poodle Ozzie..I got there at seven and when the door was locked I walked around the back and saw Dr. B and she pointed to the front door and her watch... It was just a drop off , Ozzie had labored breathing and coughing very bad..I was going just to leave him there until they called me to pick him up...I I have been going there for 18 yrs And thought she was a friend...It was a drop off ...she could've let me in to put him in a cage... I waited another 15-20 minutes until the girl came in ..she sat at her desk played with the Cat , ignored me at door holding a sick dog.and start making phone calls ..I knocked at the door holding a Ozzie in my arms and she totally ignored me ..She finally open the door with a huff and puff and Dr. Walsh called rudely from the back we open at 730... It was 7:25 at that point I was furious to-be treated that way... I work in a doctors office I would never treat anyone like this...I Said to the girl if this is a inconvenience then give me his records and I'll go elsewhere... I will tell everyone about this experience and not recommend a Pets friend anyone... In my eyes if you treat people like this how do you treat dogs behind closed doors. I've been coming here since 2001 and to be treated this way is totally unacceptable...

I have been a client for 3 years and would highly recommend A Pets Friend to everyone. The prices are low and they do not nickle and dime you. My pets and I love this place and so will you.

Based on neighbors recommendation, we walked in to make an appointment for our new pup. We had heard that the Vet here was very good, but the office staff was ....not so much. We didn't need a warm and fuzzy staff, just a great Vet.
The moment we walked in we felt like we were bothering the front desk staff. " we aren't taking new patients without a referral from an existing patient" i was admonished. Her look was "why are you here"... as she didn't move an inch from her chair. we identified our neighbor who had referred us ...and got a blank response from her. i got the sense she thought we were lying. i said" lets go" and walked out. There are to many competent vet offices in the area, why put up with that attitude. A simple "sorry we aren't taking new patients" was all we would have needed to hear and we would understand. The Vet may be good (we will never know) but with an unprofessional, and i suspect lazy, office person like that?...why bother.

Awefull place, the staff kim and colleen are the most ignorant, self centered rudest little girl mentality in the veterinary business and the fact that the doctors allow that makes it a lowsey place , don't ever go there if you need a vet,especially in an emergency, my puppy needed a vet,especially being new to the area and they turned me away plus they said they do an application for new patients and will deny you if they do see a fit,they don't deserve to be in business and that lowsey office staff should never be around animal's, they are doomed the animals that are there,beware people,there is no vet in the county that would turn away an animal especially being new to the area

Dr. Walsh and Dr. B are the most compassionate and thoughtful vets. The best care I have ever had for my furbabies. They did have problems with office staff, but that has been resolved and it's a pleasure to be there. I go monthly for my Doxipoo and have been for the past 7 years. I have a new foundling, and they took him right him, cleared him, healthwise for me and is now part of my family. I would not go anywhere else. And I moved to Cape Coral! I am willing to 68 miles each way for their care.

The doctors are great very friendly.The office staff is not I agree with the other people in comments above, had a bad experience with the office personal at the front desk she proceeded to put false information on my record, who knows what was said to the doctor, (who was to busy for me then)they denied me as a customer and told me to come get my file and im no longer welcome as a customer,on top of that i wrote a review else were, which they then replied by calling my wife a liar and the released personal information on the internet ,of how they have help my family in the past, which isnt the correct way to handle things, in any case my recommendation is luck with office staff. . Your pet will be in good hands with the doctor.. just won't be fun dealing with front desk... good luck... now let's see what lies they have to say?

I had been going to a different veterinarian, when my dog was not breathing well( he had been diagnosis with cancer a year earlier) and we did not think he would make the traveling distance to our vet for compassionate end of life care, I had called Dr. Walsh's office (which I had no prior history of bringing our dog there.) Our family was welcomed and the staff was incredibly supportive when we were probably not at our best. We are extremely grateful for helping us through a truly difficult time.

They are fine until you have an issue with them. After being told by a staff member thar they "were so busy that she was doing the job of three people. And dr would not get to the message to call me back before the weekend", I told them that I didn't feel that was the right thing to do and maybe I would consider a new vet. I had a phone call later that day telling me to pick up my records and thar we were being kicked out of the praxtice!!! All because the staff blew me off!!! And when I picked up the records they were the hard copy (don't they need to keep records as well??) And the notes that were on there were nothing like what I explained to the girl on the phone!! The dr should be aware that the most of the staff is rude and not documenting calls properly!

I agree with the person who said that she respects Dr. Walsh, but that the front office staff is rude and uncaring. When my dog was dying, her response was 'we can't help you, we are far too busy today.' When I pleaded with her she said, 'I have other customers to help so I am going to have to go.' Talk about cold-hearted. I hope one day she realizes how much her words hurt people and make sad situations even worse. I guess they only want to see the healthy animals that don't require a lot of effort.

We have been going to "A Pets Friend Animal Hospital" for 20+ years.
We have such trust and respect for both Dr. Walsh and Dr. B. They take care of our fur babies like they were their own. Day, nights, weekends they are always there for us.
We've had to put down one of our schnauzers several years back, Dr. Walsh cried along with me and my husband, he loves his patients.

Dr. Walsh and Dr. B are the most compassionate and thoughtful vets. The best care I have ever had for my furbabies. They did have problems with office staff, but that has been resolved and it's a pleasure to be there. I go monthly for my Doxipoo and have been for the past 7 years. I have a new foundling, and they took him right him, cleared him, healthwise for me and is now part of my family. I would not go anywhere else. And I moved to Cape Coral! I am willing to 68 miles each way for their care.

The doctors are great very friendly.The office staff is not I agree with the other people in comments above, had a bad experience with the office personal at the front desk she proceeded to put false information on my record, who knows what was said to the doctor, (who was to busy for me then)they denied me as a customer and told me to come get my file and im no longer welcome as a customer,on top of that i wrote a review else were, which they then replied by calling my wife a liar and the released personal information on the internet ,of how they have help my family in the past, which isnt the correct way to handle things, in any case my recommendation is luck with office staff. . Your pet will be in good hands with the doctor.. just won't be fun dealing with front desk... good luck... now let's see what lies they have to say?

I had been going to a different veterinarian, when my dog was not breathing well( he had been diagnosis with cancer a year earlier) and we did not think he would make the traveling distance to our vet for compassionate end of life care, I had called Dr. Walsh's office (which I had no prior history of bringing our dog there.) Our family was welcomed and the staff was incredibly supportive when we were probably not at our best. We are extremely grateful for helping us through a truly difficult time.

They are fine until you have an issue with them. After being told by a staff member thar they "were so busy that she was doing the job of three people. And dr would not get to the message to call me back before the weekend", I told them that I didn't feel that was the right thing to do and maybe I would consider a new vet. I had a phone call later that day telling me to pick up my records and thar we were being kicked out of the praxtice!!! All because the staff blew me off!!! And when I picked up the records they were the hard copy (don't they need to keep records as well??) And the notes that were on there were nothing like what I explained to the girl on the phone!! The dr should be aware that the most of the staff is rude and not documenting calls properly!

They did an emergency surgery late evening. They checked on him through the nights, called me with updates even on the weekends and late nights.

I agree with the person who said that she respects Dr. Walsh, but that the front office staff is rude and uncaring. When my dog was dying, her response was 'we can't help you, we are far too busy today.' When I pleaded with her she said, 'I have other customers to help so I am going to have to go.' Talk about cold-hearted. I hope one day she realizes how much her words hurt people and make sad situations even worse. I guess they only want to see the healthy animals that don't require a lot of effort.

We have such trust and respect for both Dr. Walsh and Dr. B. They take care of our fur babies like they were their own. Day, nights, weekends they are always there for us.
We've had to put down one of our schnauzers several years back, Dr. Walsh cried along with me and my husband, he loves his patients.
