Bright Cross is an extraordinary veterinary practice. My wife and I own two Rhodesian Ridgebacks and have frequented this practice for the last two years, since moving to Venice. Recently our daughter (who also owns a Ridgeback) was visiting and mentioned that she had great trouble taking her dog, Kennedy, to the vet in Virginia, but she needed to have Kennedy's teeth cleaned. Since we have had excellent experiences with our dogs, she agreed to give Bright Cross a try. The entire process was brilliant. Although Kennedy was clearly terrified when we entered the clinic, within a minute of Dr. Cliff Mybergh handling and examining her, she had completely calmed and even cooperated with the examination as if she had no fear at all. We looked on in amazement and my wife now calls the doctor the new "Dog Whisperer". The next day when we returned to have Dr. Maria Mybergh do the cleaning, Kennedy trotted into the clinic like it was her second home! During the teeth cleaning, Dr. Maria had her assisting techs clip Kennedy's nails and express her anal glands while our dog was under anesthesia, a thoughtful addition since those processes can be uncomfortable, hence, difficult, with a fully awake, strong, 100 pound dog. I cannot say enough good things about the professionalism and care offered by Bright Cross. They have my highest recommendation.

The staff is amazing. They are all loving and helpful and just do what they can to help with your animal. They are very detail oriented and make sure you understand everything going on. They work with you and make sure you are completely knowledgeable about everything with your animal. Sr Myburgh is awesome. I just love the atmosphere of the place. Some many wonderful techs and vets and office staff.

Best vet I’ve ever been to! They have a very large and attentive staff. They were beyond compassionate to our puppy that has been a bit overwhelming between medical and behavioral issues. They went above and beyond to offer solutions to help us keep our 7 month old puppy with our family after we were beyond frustrated with other vets and outcomes.
Oh, did I mention they’re super affordable?

My dog had his tail amputated by another vet. We were in the Pet Supermarket, when the clerk mentioned that our dog''s tail was bleeding through his bandage. We quickly went around the corner to Bright Cross. 1st time visit. Dr. Myberg cleaned dog''s tail, used topical cream, prescribed anti-biotic (Amoxi/Clav), tranquilizer (Trazodone), Gabapentin, bandage supplies, and gave us a donut collar to use with his shame cone. The staff was very kind and attentive. Thank you Jesus. Our dog gets his stitches removed in 1 week. Praying that everything goes well.

I am new to the area and hadn’t established veterinary care for my dog at the time.
He acquired an infection near his eye and the
next available appointment wasn’t for a couple days, so Dr. Myburgh came back early from his lunch to see him.
I am so grateful for the excellent care received by Dr. Cliff Myburgh and the professional customer service from his support staff.
Needless to say, Bright Cross will be providing care for my two dogs for the future.

After the blood test he confiemed it was cushings disease. Your bill was ridiculous consider what service was rendered or lack of. My 11 animals will be going ro a different vet. Pleaae have their records. ready to transfer.

I highly recommend this vet clinic - I had to take my cat in for an emergency and had never been there before. They immediately fit us in and were wonderful - we dealt with 8 different people and all were knowledgeable, kind, and soft spoken - especially the vet. They did some tests - only necessary ones - and solved the problem at a very low cost compared to other vets I have been to. I am very glad that I found them and will continue to go there especially since they are so close to my home on top of everything else. I can see why they were voted Best of Venice 7 times!

Bright Cross has taken excellent care of my dogs for more than 10 years. Dr. Maria has had to perform several surgeries on my females over the years and she is amazing. Most recently, my eight year old bichon had a cancerous tumor on her shoulder that needed to be surgically removed. Dr. Maria was wonderful, she reassured me that she would do her very best to get all of the cancer out and save Maggie. And€ she did!!!! She made sure she had plenty of time to do a thorough job and was there for her during her after care. I am so grateful to have a compassionate as well as talented surgeon that I know I can put my full confidence in. Both she and Dr. Cliff are special people and wonderful vets!! The vet techs and all of the staff are also very caring and helpful!

I love ALL the Doctors, Technicians, and staff at Bright Cross Animal Clinic! I have been a Bright Cross client for 16 years and would never consider going any place else. I recently brought in my 3 cats and dog for their yearly visits. The staff was so accommodating and helpful. They had me pull up to the front door so they could come out and get all my pets in for their visit without me having to make four trips from the parking lot. Dr. Cliff, Dr. Maria,and Dr. Holly have always take great care of my animal family. They always answer all my questions, and make recommendations for foods and/or treatments that can make my animal's lives better. At the end of our visit, the front desk staff told me to pull up to the front doors again and they would help load everyone for the trip home. Not only did the load, but they secured each cat crate with a seat belt to protect the cats from falling off the seats and gave Jessie treats for being a good girl. Thanks everyone!!

10 Year old tiny little Chihuahua needed major dental work. The doctors and assistants thoroughly explained the potential dangers on working on such a tiny dog. My fears were greatly alleviated and I had no hesitation to allow the doctors to do what needed to be done. My Buster is now a different dog, a toothless little dog. but is now back to his old self. YAY!!!
Our 9 year old Mini Dachshund was treated kindly and when time comes for her teeth cleaning I will have no reservations handing her off and knowing full well that she will be well taken of.

Moving here to Venice last year from Pennsylvania with a dog and 3 cats meant that finding an excellent vet was very important. I have been in several times with my pets and am always extremely happy with the doctors, techs and front desk. Everyone is very warm, kind and compassionate. The doctors are amazing and explain everything so well. They definitely care about their patients and want the best for them. I highly recommend Bright Cross. They are the best vets in Venice!

They helped get meds for him, the Dr. Called me when we had to take him to the ER clinic, and gave us the sweetest card when we lost him. I can't say enough good things about them.

We just moved to venice and had no idea where to go to take our cat who we could tell wasn't feeling well. I looked on yelp and came across bright cross and decided to go there. I was blown away by how amazing they were. They understood that we had just moved and were not financially capable of a lot. They went above and beyond taking care of our him and making sure that the financial part didn't play into not diagnosing him correctly. Also they had great customer service and were extremely friendly. I will highly recommend them to everyone I come across!!

I intended to call a few vets to see who would be able to see my new puppy soonest for a healthy puppy checkup and who would be most affordable. I happened to call Bright Cross first and they were so helpful and even though they're only open until noon Friday's, they happily fit me in. It was refreshing to talk to someone kind & knowledgeable, not rushed or irritated that I had called short notice with a lot of questions. My in person experience was just as pleasant, every staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful. They even went above & beyond as to give me a free sample of flea/heartworm meds, a measuring cup for her wet food, a lid for the opened cans, and they broke each of her pills in half to save me the trouble.

Bright Cross has taken excellent care of my dogs for more than 10 years. Dr. Maria has had to perform several surgeries on my females over the years and she is amazing. Most recently, my eight year old bichon had a cancerous tumor on her shoulder that needed to be surgically removed. Dr. Maria was wonderful, she reassured me that she would do her very best to get all of the cancer out and save Maggie. And€ she did!!!! She made sure she had plenty of time to do a thorough job and was there for her during her after care. I am so grateful to have a compassionate as well as talented surgeon that I know I can put my full confidence in. Both she and Dr. Cliff are special people and wonderful vets!! The vet techs and all of the staff are also very caring and helpful!

I love ALL the Doctors, Technicians, and staff at Bright Cross Animal Clinic! I have been a Bright Cross client for 16 years and would never consider going any place else. I recently brought in my 3 cats and dog for their yearly visits. The staff was so accommodating and helpful. They had me pull up to the front door so they could come out and get all my pets in for their visit without me having to make four trips from the parking lot. Dr. Cliff, Dr. Maria,and Dr. Holly have always take great care of my animal family. They always answer all my questions, and make recommendations for foods and/or treatments that can make my animal's lives better. At the end of our visit, the front desk staff told me to pull up to the front doors again and they would help load everyone for the trip home. Not only did the load, but they secured each cat crate with a seat belt to protect the cats from falling off the seats and gave Jessie treats for being a good girl. Thanks everyone!!

10 Year old tiny little Chihuahua needed major dental work. The doctors and assistants thoroughly explained the potential dangers on working on such a tiny dog. My fears were greatly alleviated and I had no hesitation to allow the doctors to do what needed to be done. My Buster is now a different dog, a toothless little dog. but is now back to his old self. YAY!!!
Our 9 year old Mini Dachshund was treated kindly and when time comes for her teeth cleaning I will have no reservations handing her off and knowing full well that she will be well taken of.

We had so say goodbye to our beloved Beacon. Tonight to my absolute surprise I come home to a box. Moving here to Venice last year from Pennsylvania with a dog and 3 cats meant that finding an excellent vet was very important. I have been in several times with my pets and am always extremely happy with the doctors, techs and front desk. Everyone is very warm, kind and compassionate. The doctors are amazing and explain everything so well. They definitely care about their patients and want the best for them. I highly recommend Bright Cross. They are the best vets in Venice!

Compassionate, sweet and thoughtful, they were so kind to us when we took our Baker in upon our move to Venice, he had already been diagnosed with a very serious heart condition. They helped get meds for him, the Dr. Called me when we had to take him to the ER clinic, and gave us the sweetest card when we lost him. I can't say enough good things about them.

We just moved to venice and had no idea where to go to take our cat who we could tell wasn't feeling well. I looked on yelp and came across bright cross and decided to go there. I was blown away by how amazing they were. They understood that we had just moved and were not financially capable of a lot. They went above and beyond taking care of our him and making sure that the financial part didn't play into not diagnosing him correctly. Also they had great customer service and were extremely friendly. I will highly recommend them to everyone I come across!!

I intended to call a few vets to see who would be able to see my new puppy soonest for a healthy puppy checkup and who would be most affordable. I happened to call Bright Cross first and they were so helpful and even though they're only open until noon Friday's, they happily fit me in. It was refreshing to talk to someone kind & knowledgeable, not rushed or irritated that I had called short notice with a lot of questions. My in person experience was just as pleasant, every staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful. They even went above & beyond as to give me a free sample of flea/heartworm meds, a measuring cup for her wet food, a lid for the opened cans, and they broke each of her pills in half to save me the trouble.
