Others have said it and I agree. What a rip off. They take advantage of our love for our pets by suggesting this and that to make their life better. Then when you agree, they charge many times what the going rate is at other vets. I brought my 8 yr old dog in to get the 2nd shot of flu vaccine and after their dire suggestions of teeth cleaning and x-ray for hip concerns, I was out $1,000+. Oh, and my pet is and was fine. This would be the last place I'd come for any treatment in the future. There are many Vets here in Vero so, unless you like having your pocket picked, go elsewhere, and fast.

Have I got a tail for you....literally. Divine animal hospital remember that name. Never ever use them.. last night Katie had to have a csection I called everyone and so did my friend Laura. We got Divine to agree to 600 now and the balance this weekend. No problem they said. I understand people suck is why vets don't work with folks anymore. I get it. But don't tell me one thing then do another. I go to get Katie this morning and they were like nope not till the rest is paid. They were holding my dog hostage refusing to give her to me. I even lost one of her pups he passed due to not having his mom I was supplementing but the formula didn't agree with him and he got colic real bad and passed. had he had his mom this probably wouldn't of happened. I should of known something fishy them not letting me take her home at midnight. I've never had a vet who didn't let me take the new mo home sleepy or not so she can care for her pups. It's the best chance for her pups. I get it I understand but we would not have used you had you not made a promise. Don't say one thing to get me there then do another. Also while speaking on the phone with them while my sister was trying to get Katie for me while I bottle feeding Katie's pups at home. They hung up on me.. no reason to hang up on me. My friend Laura calls and is talking to the owner and she hangs up on Laura and goes to lunch. Laura calls back and is told she isn't here. WTF. Laura even tells patty I was just speaking to her. Why would she up and leave and hang up on me I did nothing wrong. So thank the lord for my pup customers I had a pup customer instead of getting one this morning got both boys. She took me to the vets where I gave them my very last dime...no money for my bills now...no electric money or cable money or even money for my diabetic meds. But Katie is home. It was a total nightmare. I have all feelings they agree to this to get you in then I wonder how many other folks they hold their animals hostage. There was a big dog in there last night I bet his owners were done just like me. Beware they will tell you they'll work with you then get your dog and refuse to give your dog back. Oh but offered to let me bring Katie's pups up to Katie till I could pay... yeah right your holding one of my dogs hostage you really think you're getting my pups too.. I'm not a stupid woman. Your mistake is treating me like i am.. I know many people and I am going to let everyone know how shady you are..

I rescued Fiona and her daughter Stormy about 6 months ago. First because they were neglected and second because the lady wanted to take them to dump them off at the humane society. Me being an animal lover took them in despite many issues they both have. Fiona having more problems...Today Fiona Darling had her first visit with Divine. A little pricey but worth every penny to get this girl back to healthy. I am so completely satisfied knowing they made a plan and talked to us about it to get Fiona happy and healthy again. The staff here were amazing with Fiona knowing how scared she was. She even got icecream and cookies. Great service all around. Ill definitely recommended them. We are looking forward to this adventure in getting Fiona on her way to feeling better. Thank you.

Terrble rip off clinic...overcharged hundreds of dollars doing unnecessary tests on our old cat who obviously had congestive heart failure. I work with million dollar show horses and our vets make a barn call, work on big dangerous stallions and charge a 1/4 for similar testing. Its no wonder people cannot afford to rescue animals when you walk out with a 1000$ bill. Small animal vets should be ashamed of themselves. This clinic is only out to prey on your love of animals and line their pockets...digraceful

A few weeks ago my wife and I adopted a 6 week old kitten that was in rough shape. We had just received the kitten before we walked into a Pet Supermarket. We were holding the kitten in our arms while walking around the store looking for first time, must have necessities. Sierra(sorry if spelled incorrectly), walked up to us and asked about the kitten. Right away, she saw some signs that the kitten was malnourished/mistreated and needed to be checked out. Sierra immediately called Divine Animal Hospital to schedule an appointment for 15 minutes from when we were leaving the store. She was GREAT and if it had not been for her, we probably would've waited a few days to take her to the vet(not knowing how bad her condition really was).We walked into the Animal Hospital and were greeted with such a professional, caring staff. Dr. Patty(and her nurses) showed such concern for the kitten and explained everything to us thoroughly and told us exactly what we needed. She ran tests and gave her some medicine and sent us out with a list of everything we needed to do to make sure this kitten makes it. GOOD NEWS - the kitten is normal weight now, worm-free and is playful and running around with my kids and having fun. We named her "Izzy". She is such a happy kitten. This whole experience was GREAT and we can not thank Sierra, Dr. Patty and the nurses enough.Thanks again,Brian & Heather

Dr. Patty Shockency and Patte BierbaumVeterinary Technician did a wonderful job with our dog Holly. While we were away and a friend was watching our Holly she had a tumor on her leg rupture. We were told that this was just a fatty tumor, however, it was a cancerous tumor and the doctor and tech worked on a Sunday to stop her bleeding. We really did not think she would make it, but with their care, 4 weeks later, she is healing and well on her way to recovery. They've been doing laser treatments and the open gaping sight is almost healed. Can't say enough about them and the staff. Patte, the tech was knowledgeable and cared for her like she was her own. We recently moved to Florida and can't say enough about them. Thank you.

Disappointed... and $265 poorer.
The veterinarian continuously told me about all of their special services and pet insurance instead of listening to my concerns and telling me what the costs of those services would be. My dog is no better off at this point. My bank account is $265 lower than it was this morning. Still looking for a good, honest veterinarian in Vero Beach. However, the staff and Vet Technicians were very nice and handled my dog gently although they did an EKG on my poor dog before we even saw the Veterinarian. I'd give negative stars if I could. Do not use this hospital unless you have lots of money.

I have not yet gone here with my animals but I am trying to research more about this animal hospital. I have always had lots of furbabies and was in the military so I experienced many vetrinarians and know the horrors that can happen if not careful. I have only been in their entrance which is clean and spacious. I like that they advertise 24 hour emergency. Hopefully this means that one of their techs spend the night and can contact the doctor by phone. If this is happening you know that if your animals spend the night they have someone that stays and monitors them if they are sick. From their website they seem to have all the bells and wistles and may be able to give you a good diagnosis. This is important because many vets offices do not have the equipment and it's usually a guessing game as to what they "think" may be wrong with your animal. Then you get a referral to a "specialist" in Ft Pierce, Melbourne, or West Palm. We have been to all, and they have their own very expensive horror stories. When I visited this office as a new customer no one offered a tour of the facility and they do not have any price list for their services. This gives me pauce because I was once billed $7000.00 for dental cleaning and tooth extracts on two small dogs at a dog dentist in Westin Florida without any forwarning with my dogs being held captive. It is understandable that animal clinics can't give you an exact estimate of care, but they should at the very least advertise the costs of standard procedures. If anyone can give me further information about the Divine Animal Hospital and it's doctors, please drop me a message as I want to find excellent animal care in Vero Beach for my many animals.

We've had to take our cat in to be housed for the day while they work on our house, and they have been so gracious, turns out I needed them almost the whole week and they have been so kind to us. We've had horrible experiences with other vets, and this makes that all go away. Thank you so much for treating us like family and taking care of our meowface. (Tesla). Even though it was a last minute phone call, they were like come on down! We'll babysit! I've had horrible experiences with other vets in town and the way they treat us and our cat takes that all away.

The staff is wonderful! I discovered them years 10 or more years ago. They were my vet for my Yorkie, Sonique for much of her life. They assisted her through many common Yorkie problems such as ear infections, teeth cleanings, allergies, dry skin, and orthopedic problems. The staff became members of our family as Sonique aged. During Sonique's final days they provided me with options for helping my beloved Sonique. When that day came for Sonique to cross the rainbow bridge, they helped me through the process by offering final arrangements for my baby girl, Sonique.
I've since been lucky enough to parent a second Yorkie named Prince. Doctor Divine has been his only vet. Doctor Divine and staff will continue providing medical assistance when needed to my Prince during his lifetime.
Please give them a call if your pet is needing a check-up or emergency assistance. You will not regret the call. God Bless You Dr. Divine and Staff you are awesome.

Having moved a lot I have had a lot of experiences with veterinarians. Dr. Divine and his staff by far surpass any vet I have ever been to. They are extremely thorough and professional from the moment you walk in the door. My dog has severe anxiety issues and Dr. Divine walked me through all of my options, because of his dedication she can now get through a florida storm without any destruction. Most recently she had pancreatits, he did a complete exam, bloodwork and treatments. Because I had to go out of town I left her there to board. The techs took amazing care of her and Dr. Divine even came in on a Sunday to make sure she was improving. It meant the world to me that he would care so much he took time away from his day to check on her. I would never think about taking my pets anywhere else. Thank you Divine Animal Hospital.

For the last four years I've taken my Robin (family pet) to Divine's. They are always so loving and kind to her as soon as we walk in to door. It seems like most places you can expect to be waiting for every bit of an hour but we hardly ever wait more than 10min. Robins favorite part of each visit is they always give her an dogie ice cream cone when she's done. I've never seen such love an affection for animals. Keep up the loving work!

We really did not think she would make it, but with their care, 4 weeks later, she is healing and well on her way to recovery. They've been doing laser treatments and the open gaping sight is almost healed. Can't say enough about them and the staff. Patte, the tech was knowledgeable and cared for her like she was her own. We recently moved to Florida and can't say enough about them. Thank you.

The veterinarian continuously told me about all of their special services and pet insurance instead of listening to my concerns and telling me what the costs of those services would be. My dog is no better off at this point. My bank account is $265 lower than it was this morning. Still looking for a good, honest veterinarian in Vero Beach. However, the staff and Vet Technicians were very nice and handled my dog gently although they did an EKG on my poor dog before we even saw the Veterinarian. I'd give negative stars if I could. Do not use this hospital unless you have lots of money.

I have not yet gone here with my animals but I am trying to research more about this animal hospital. I have always had lots of furbabies and was in the military so I experienced many vetrinarians and know the horrors that can happen if not careful. I have only been in their entrance which is clean and spacious. I like that they advertise 24 hour emergency. Hopefully this means that one of their techs spend the night and can contact the doctor by phone. If this is happening you know that if your animals spend the night they have someone that stays and monitors them if they are sick. From their website they seem to have all the bells and wistles and may be able to give you a good diagnosis. This is important because many vets offices do not have the equipment and it's usually a guessing game as to what they "think" may be wrong with your animal. Then you get a referral to a "specialist" in Ft Pierce, Melbourne, or West Palm. We have been to all, and they have their own very expensive horror stories. When I visited this office as a new customer no one offered a tour of the facility and they do not have any price list for their services. This gives me pauce because I was once billed $7000.00 for dental cleaning and tooth extracts on two small dogs at a dog dentist in Westin Florida without any forwarning with my dogs being held captive. It is understandable that animal clinics can't give you an exact estimate of care, but they should at the very least advertise the costs of standard procedures. If anyone can give me further information about the Divine Animal Hospital and it's doctors, please drop me a message as I want to find excellent animal care in Vero Beach for my many animals.

We've had to take our cat in to be housed for the day while they work on our house, and they have been so gracious, turns out I needed them almost the whole week and they have been so kind to us. We've had horrible experiences with other vets, and this makes that all go away. Thank you so much for treating us like family and taking care of our meowface. (Tesla). Even though it was a last minute phone call, they were like come on down! We'll babysit! I've had horrible experiences with other vets in town and the way they treat us and our cat takes that all away.

The staff is wonderful! I discovered them years 10 or more years ago. They were my vet for my Yorkie, Sonique for much of her life. They assisted her through many common Yorkie problems such as ear infections, teeth cleanings, allergies, dry skin, and orthopedic problems. The staff became members of our family as Sonique aged. During Sonique's final days they provided me with options for helping my beloved Sonique. When that day came for Sonique to cross the rainbow bridge, they helped me through the process by offering final arrangements for my baby girl, Sonique.
I've since been lucky enough to parent a second Yorkie named Prince. Doctor Divine has been his only vet. Doctor Divine and staff will continue providing medical assistance when needed to my Prince during his lifetime.
Please give them a call if your pet is needing a check-up or emergency assistance. You will not regret the call. God Bless You Dr. Divine and Staff you are awesome.

Great customer service once you go in. Facility is great better then a normal office at my doctors. Rooms has T.Vs and can watch what they are looking.

Having moved a lot I have had a lot of experiences with veterinarians. Dr. Divine and his staff by far surpass any vet I have ever been to. They are extremely thorough and professional from the moment you walk in the door. My dog has severe anxiety issues and Dr. Divine walked me through all of my options, because of his dedication she can now get through a florida storm without any destruction. Most recently she had pancreatits, he did a complete exam, bloodwork and treatments. Because I had to go out of town I left her there to board. The techs took amazing care of her and Dr. Divine even came in on a Sunday to make sure she was improving. It meant the world to me that he would care so much he took time away from his day to check on her. I would never think about taking my pets anywhere else. Thank you Divine Animal Hospital.

For the last four years I've taken my Robin (family pet) to Divine's. They are always so loving and kind to her as soon as we walk in to door. It seems like most places you can expect to be waiting for every bit of an hour but we hardly ever wait more than 10min. Robins favorite part of each visit is they always give her an dogie ice cream cone when she's done. I've never seen such love an affection for animals. Keep up the loving work!
