We’ve been with Dr Herman for almost 18 years, 9 dogs later, we are still clients. Dr Herman has been a great vet for us. A long standing association, and if I weren’t confident and happy we wouldn’t stay because my animals are first. Always has a super staff that are kind and willing to help in anyway they can. When needed, he’s met us at his office after hours for emergencies with no problem. He has unfailingly been available, having no complaint, and never made us feel bad because we were interrupting his time off. Even though I did feel bad about having him come out. Dr Herman is a very knowledgeable vet but when an issue has come up and our dogs have required a specialist, there has never been a hesitation in sending us. The few times Dr Herman recommended we needed a specialized vet we were also very happy with that person. His network of contacts are also top of the line. Our family has built a wonderful relationship with him and his staff because they make you feel welcome and his expertise is above reproach. First and foremost though, he truly cares for his animal clients. I would very much recommend him.

Being new to the area of Vero Beach, my dog Lexi had an emergency eye issue. I called Dr. Herman’s office and they took us with the hour. I found the staff to be courteous and the Dr. to be extremely caring. I thought my Lexi was going blind. After several trips to vets, she now completely cured thanks to Dr. Herman’s knowledge of what worked in the past as well as the most recent technology. Thank you, Dr. Herman! I hope NOT to have to com visit too soon! You ROCK!

Dr. Herman and staff at Pet Medical Center are always professional and friendly. They have cared for our Dachshund-mix rescue, Sadie for about 2 years. Sadie is not always friendly, but they handle her well and with confidence to accomplish the examinations and vaccinations. They are accommodating to those who are here only part of the year and worked well with out vet in New Jersey about sharing information to make sure she was vaccinated appropriately. The staff is always knowledgeable and helpful.

A gem of a VET for Vero Beach and Indian River County residents. Having an older mature dog and a younger dog. For over 2 decades we have enjoyed the stellar professional treatment and personal care. Exams, testing, surgery, bordering, and urgent questions have always been quickly addressed. The staff is always happy to make sure you and your pet(s) feel welcome.

I took my 6 year old dachshund to see Dr. Herman and his staff today for a urinary issue, and I am very happy with the service we received.
I am in town from Gainesville visiting family, and I needed an appointment on short notice. The friendly staff were able to get me an appointment the same day I called. I waited for only a few minutes in the clean and quiet lobby. The x-rays and urine test my dog needed were also performed quickly with immediate results.
Dr. Herman is knowledgeable, friendly, and a true pet lover. He had a very good way of explaining the treatment my dog needed and why.
I wish Dr. Herman's practice was closer to Gainesville because I would take my dog there regularly!

I'm extremely picky with who I choose to help me care for my dogs and it has been difficult at almost every place we have lived. Dr Herman and his staff helped me lose any anxiety I had the second I walked in the door! Everyone is extremely friendly, treat my dog like their own and are just awesome and perfect. You can be as lucky as I am and stop looking for a vet because he's the best...hands down!

We're on vacation and needed to take our dog to a vet. They were able to fit us in on the same day. Our dog can be unpredictable with his behavior, but the staff handled him beautifully. He must have sensed a very positive energy because he allowed them to care for him with no problem. They took great care of him and I will definitely make them our primary vet when we move here.

Last Saturday, my dog, Jingle Bella was extremely agitated and I was beside myself with worry. Not realizing that "The Pet Medical Center of Vero Beach" was open on Saturday mornings, I called there for help not expecting anyone to be there. Not only did they take my call but Dr. Herman returned my call immediately. He took care of my dog. If you are looking for a caring gentle Doctor to take care of your animal, he is your MAN.

I have been happy with this clinic for the fourteen years I have been a client. Dr. Herman is a very good diagnostician and looks at the whole dog, not just at the presented problem. He has the best education and uses all his experience and knowledge to help pet owners keep their furry friends healthy. Staff is fantastic and has been with him many years; a sure sign of a smooth-running animal hospital.

We’ve been with Dr Herman for almost 18 years, 9 dogs later, we are still clients. Dr Herman has been a great vet for us. A long standing association, and if I weren’t confident and happy we wouldn’t stay because my animals are first. Always has a super staff that are kind and willing to help in anyway they can. Dr. Herman and staff at Pet Medical Center are always professional and friendly. They have cared for our Dachshund-mix rescue, Sadie for about 2 years.
