St. Francis Animal Hospital is full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care.
We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery, radiology,and a closely supervised hospitalization area. We also offer Traditional Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine).

We moved to Vero Beach a year ago and we were looking for a vet to get our annual shots and nail trims. I explained to them that my dog was traumatized from getting her nails cut at Petsmart and has started to bite when you cut her nails. I watched as the tech took my dogs leash and put her foot on it so the dog couldn't move and starting throwing a towel over her head. My dog was rearing up like a horse trying to get away and was being choked due to having on a martingale collar. The vet comes in and says maybe I should leave the room so the dog can't see me. I think I was too stunned by what they were doing to do anything but leave the room. Then the vet has the nerve to look at me and tell me you know this is unacceptable. The way they treated my dog was unacceptable. If you want a vet that will treat you and your dog with dignity, go to VCA Florida Veterinary League.

Dr Lisa Jutras Walker is a great Vetrinary Doctor who answers questions and will also help you with holistic approaches.

Dr Lisa Jutras Walker is a great Vetrinary Doctor who answers questions and will also help you with holistic approaches.
I like when you feel a Dr has taken the time to put their hands on your animals and looked at their heart, blood pressure, ears, lumps & bumps, teeth etc..
Unfortunately her business is ruined by the people she puts up front. The ladies are rude and act like they are being bothered if you need their help both in office and on phone. They are on their own schedule and God help you if you come in an emergency near closing or during their lunch time. To me that shows a lack of true caring for their patients when they don't have a rotation plan set up for animals in their care.
I spent over $500 dollars on xrays and bloodwork and left there without explainations written down of either. When You leave an appoinment you should have a SOAP annotation: S=subject, O= observation, A=assessment, P= plan. It's standard medical practise.

St. Francis Animal Hospital staff from reception to Dr. Renee Hadley are the most understanding compassionate group of professionals I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Dr. Hadley is very knowledgeable, thorough and gentle all at the same time. The first visit she actually got down on the floor and played with my fur baby before starting her exam. Mike is also amazingly kind and gentle to my fur baby and I. Kathy on the front desk is kind and compassionate, never rushing you. I am truly blessed to have found this practice.

St. Francis Animal Hospital is an incredible veterinary practice! I have been here twice so far for allergy problems with my (ridiculously beautiful and cute) dog. We have been seeing Dr. Mansfield who has been extremely professional, thorough, kind and knowledgeable. I cannot say enough about her, other than I feel truly blessed to have found such a caring and knowledgeable veterinarian. As for the office as a whole, everyone you will encounter at St. Francis is wonderful! The vet techs and front office staff are always welcoming, friendly, personable, caring and efficient. I have nothing but amazing things to say about St. Francis and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for an absolutely awesome veterinary practice!

Dr Renee is Excellent, Caring and Compassionate. She truly cares for animals, I could tell that from the moment she greeted us in the exam room. She listened to everything I said and didn't rush me or become impatient in any way. She performed all the proper tests and did an outstanding job for us. The entire staff were excellent as well. A great place to take your fur family members. These are people you can trust. I'm very glad I found them.

Dr. Lisa is a wonderful vet and takes her time with you and your fur baby. Everyone at the office is compassionate and caring. I have had several dogs with complicated medical conditions and one requiring surgery and I am completely happy with the care given to my babies. My dog Jewels loves to go visit and see Mike. Unlike some animal hospitals that feel like a rushed ER, St. Francis is always friendly and timely, while still taking the time to make you feel cared for.

Every time I've called, everyone was so nice and understanding. I feel bad that I call so much but my dog wasn't acting right, the never made me come in all the time they have given me sugustions to help! I love that because I know that they are not out for money, the truly care about animals and that means the world to me. Dr. Lisa and the whole staff are extremely kind are patience with me. They not only help me with my questions but the give me confidence with me with my dog! I love Dr. Lisa and Mike, as well as all the rest of the Staff! I wouldn't bring my dog a where else!!!

First and foremost I wanted to extend my heartfelt thanks to Dr. Mansfield for her compassion and care for Buddy. I am one of those individuals that believes pets are more than just a dog or cat they are family. It is hard seeing Buddy not feeling well and in pain so I placed my trust and Buddy in Dr. Mansfields care. There are veterinarians that seem to just want to move you through the visit as fast as possible but that is not Dr. Mansfield. She takes her time and is very methodical and wants to make sure that everyone understands what is going on and all the treatment options available. Dr. Mansfield has been a tremendous support to an overprotective dad even when I bring in a book with a plethora of information about what she is treating Buddy for. I know without hesitation that Dr. Mansfield will be part Buddys life and will be the only doctor that he will see.

Dr. Lisa and her staff have been caring for our dog since we moved to the area a few years ago. They are terrific group and we specially like Mike who is so caring and knowledgeable. Our dog had some troubling skin issues that we know can be hard to manage. However, Dr. Lisa knew exactly what to do and gave us medication to control it. I was impressed that she also suggested we add fish oil to his food which also helped tremendously. Finding a good vet made our adjustment to the area much easier and I would highly recommend this one!

Dr Renee is Excellent, Caring and Compassionate. She truly cares for animals, I could tell that from the moment she greeted us in the exam room. She listened to everything I said and didn't rush me or become impatient in any way. She performed all the proper tests and did an outstanding job for us. The entire staff were excellent as well. A great place to take your fur family members. These are people you can trust. I'm very glad I found them.

We took our Stanley in for a second opinion for a cough. Unfortunately, he ended up having cancer. It was horrible having to leave the office without him. Dr. Lisa is a wonderful vet and takes her time with you and your fur baby. Everyone at the office is compassionate and caring. I have had several dogs with complicated medical conditions and one requiring surgery and I am completely happy with the care given to my babies. My dog Jewels loves to go visit and see Mike. Unlike some animal hospitals that feel like a rushed ER, St. Francis is always friendly and timely, while still taking the time to make you feel cared for.

I'm a new dog owner, I've always had cats and I know about cats I do not know a lot about dogs,. I've had a lot of questions and I've called the office many times. Every time I've called, everyone was so nice and understanding. I feel bad that I call so much but my dog wasn't acting right, the never made me come in all the time they have given me sugustions to help! I love that because I know that they are not out for money, the truly care about animals and that means the world to me. Dr. Lisa and the whole staff are extremely kind are patience with me. They not only help me with my questions but the give me confidence with me with my dog! I love Dr. Lisa and Mike, as well as all the rest of the Staff! I wouldn't bring my dog a where else!!!

First and foremost I wanted to extend my heartfelt thanks to Dr. Mansfield for her compassion and care for Buddy. I am one of those individuals that believes pets are more than just a dog or cat they are family. It is hard seeing Buddy not feeling well and in pain so I placed my trust and Buddy in Dr. Mansfields care. There are veterinarians that seem to just want to move you through the visit as fast as possible but that is not Dr. Mansfield. She takes her time and is very methodical and wants to make sure that everyone understands what is going on and all the treatment options available. Dr. Mansfield has been a tremendous support to an overprotective dad even when I bring in a book with a plethora of information about what she is treating Buddy for. I know without hesitation that Dr. Mansfield will be part Buddys life and will be the only doctor that he will see.

Took my little 5 month old yorkie Miss Roxie Lynn to Dr Lisa this morning for a bad stomach issue..They were so good to her and Dr Lisa is so thorough explaining all of her bloodwork and what she was going to do. Even let me go back in the procedure room while giving her an IV because she was so scared. Dr. Lisa and her staff have been caring for our dog since we moved to the area a few years ago. They are terrific group and we specially like Mike who is so caring and knowledgeable. Our dog had some troubling skin issues that we know can be hard to manage. However, Dr. Lisa knew exactly what to do and gave us medication to control it. I was impressed that she also suggested we add fish oil to his food which also helped tremendously. Finding a good vet made our adjustment to the area much easier and I would highly recommend this one!
