Dr. Phil recently purchased this practice. Had been seeing Dr. Carlos since we moved here in 2018. Unfortunately, Dr. Carlos only offered non-anesthetic dental and he was unable to work on my dog Waldo. My daughter had scheduled her 17 year old pekingese for an adjustment, only to discover Dr. Phil had bought the practice. I was amazed at the difference Dr. Phil made in her dog, so I scheduled Waldo. I'm so glad I did. Waldo put Dr. Phil's new dental equipment to the test with his horrible teeth. My poor fur baby. Dr. Phil was amazing. I couldn't be happier. Two weeks after the procedure, Waldo had a case of the zoomies! Thank you Dr. Phil for giving me my dog back. What's sad is I didn't know I had lost my playful happy companion until after the surgery!

Pickle and Sprout are on a routine schedule for chiropractic adjustments at this clinic. All the staff are friendly and professional. My pups always enjoy going there and feel much better when the leave. The doctor is thorough and takes great care of my furbabies. I highly recommend their services.

Thanks again, Dr. Basabe, and the entire staff at Village Pet Clinic, for working me in when I needed you! Within a few hours Mommy's chief complaint was so much better, and we both got a good night's sleep. I also appreciate you taking care of the other issues you found as you gave her a thorough going over.
You guys have been so good to me and to my animal family, and it's a real comfort to know you're there --- always at the ready to discuss, to diagnose, and to dish out some treatment!

Dr. Basabe helped us care for our 17 year old puppy with a deep appreciation for both Marco and our needs. He's caring, patient, and very understanding of the bond that forms between dogs and their human companions. I would recommend him to anyone! His in-home services are second to none!!

Couldn't have had a better experience! Dr. T and Kat went above and beyond to provide calm, thoughtful and compassionate care for my little one who is not the easiest patient. The front deak staff have also been very sweet and caring. SO glad to have come to Live Oak - I will definitely be returning and recommend them highly!

I have been a client of Dr.Basabe's for several years. He provides excellent care to my Service Dog Wizard and my two French Bulldogs Abbey and Truman ! He goes out of his way to make each dog and client feel comfortable and confident about the care he provides! He will even make house calls upon request for certain situations, which is a service that is extremely hard to find , and very much appreciated being that I am a disabled client. There is no other vet in Vero Beach that I would use as a veterinarian!

We having been taking our pets here for 16 years! They are caring compassionate wonderful people. Long time employees, very friendly faces! I love seeing the same people time and time again. They all genuinely care about their clients, animal & people alike. Dr Basabe is fantastic and I would be remiss without mentioning Christie at the front desk who has been a shoulder to cry on a sympathetic ear and a cheering section time after time! Mary is always so nice and helpful & understanding of my "special needs" Ruby. I'm sure I'm leaving someone out by name but we love them all! Wouldn't ever think of going anywhere else!

I can't give Village Pet Clinic a high enough rating on how I feel about the care they provided for my dog. The receptionist was able to get Bandit in very quickly to remedy a slight inflammation in his eyes. The Vet was very gentle with his examination of Bandit's eyes, and even checked him out in other ways. What was more impressive was the way the clinic "went above and beyond" the norm to make sure Bandit was treated properly and was on his way to having a complete recovery, with a reasonable cost. If you feel deeply that your pet is an important part of your family, Village Pet Clinic is undoubtedly for you..! Oh, and Bandit loved the cookies provided after treatment...!!!

I travelled with my dog from Alaska-(a long way to go to find warm weather). My dog started limping shortly after I got to Florida, I called the Village Animal Clinic and they very quickly worked my dog into their schedule. Problem was diagnosed and treated, effectively I might add. The service from the receptionist, to the nurse assistant to the Doctor was exceptional. My dog was treated with tender care. Dr. Basabe even had his staff telephone me later in the day and again several days later to inquire about the patient. I took my dog back for a follow-up visit and he got a clean bill of health. Wonderful service, I would recommend Dr. Basabe and staff.

Dr. Phil recently purchased this practice. Had been seeing Dr. Carlos since we moved here in 2018. Unfortunately, Dr. Carlos only offered non-anesthetic dental and he was unable to work on my dog Waldo. Couldn't have had a better experience! Dr. T and Kat went above and beyond to provide calm, thoughtful and compassionate care for my little one who is not the easiest patient. I have been a client of Dr.Basabe's for several years. He provides excellent care to my Service Dog Wizard and my two French Bulldogs Abbey and Truman ! He goes out of his way to make each dog and client feel comfortable and confident about the care he provides! He will even make house calls upon request for certain situations, which is a service that is extremely hard to find , and very much appreciated being that I am a disabled client. There is no other vet in Vero Beach that I would use as a veterinarian!

I can't give Village Pet Clinic a high enough rating on how I feel about the care they provided for my dog. The receptionist was able to get Bandit in very quickly to remedy a slight inflammation in his eyes. The Vet was very gentle with his examination of Bandit's eyes, and even checked him out in other ways. What was more impressive was the way the clinic "went above and beyond" the norm to make sure Bandit was treated properly and was on his way to having a complete recovery, with a reasonable cost. If you feel deeply that your pet is an important part of your family, Village Pet Clinic is undoubtedly for you..! Oh, and Bandit loved the cookies provided after treatment...!!!

My dog started limping shortly after I got to Florida, I called the Village Animal Clinic and they very quickly worked my dog into their schedule. Problem was diagnosed and treated, effectively I might add. The service from the receptionist, to the nurse assistant to the Doctor was exceptional. My dog was treated with tender care.
