Dr. Marc Pinkwasser  at Courtyard Animal Hospital in Wellington  has been taking care of our dogs and cats for over 15 years. We have never seen or used a more caring and compassionate Dr. We won't use anyone else, our pets are family to us. I took my puppy in to get fixed. I got the estimate and was overwhelmed by the price, but signed it and went about my day. All was well when I picked my puppy up except another 30 dollars was added to the bill. The problem was what happened after. About 2 weeks after her left leg (which was shaved from putting a iv in) became very swollen. I decided not to go back to this clinic to have it checked because the doctor was very arrogant and overpriced. I went to another vet in the area who made me go to a specialist when they could not figure out what was wrong. Long story short the doctor at the specialist clinic says my puppy has something called fungal phlebitis and it has spread to her bloodstream. She is in the hospital, not sure how long and will be getting her leg cut off today. The specialist said this could only happen if the fluids on the IV were dirty, and she had only been on IV once her whole life at courtyard. I will never go back or recommend this place, it should be closed down. I hope no one else has to go through this because of this hack. Read Less

I have never met a more caring Vet and Staff. Dr. Pinkwasser, Nicole, Hanna, Misty and the entire staff are the absolute best! They truly love animals and love what they do. Dr Pinkwasser and his staff is amazing . After 15 years of trying different vets I decided to go here. I'm so happy I did ! I have never had any problems and he is wonderful with my pets and taking the time to make sure you get 100% of his attention . I foster a dog for SHARE and she goes to Dr. Pinkwasser, I have nothing bad to say about him. He's truly a one of a kind vet!! You can see the love he has in his eyes for the animals he treats. My foster girl came in with a slew of problems and he has been nothing but amazing with her.. When she went in for her heartworm treatment, I was so nervous but the staff there made me feel comfortable, and even called me throughout the first day (she had to stay overnight) to give me status updates on how she was doing. The initial meeting with Dr. Pinkwasser to pick up my foster, he explained everything very thoroughly on how to care for her and explained the medications, he was patient and answered every question I had. I find it hard to find doctors to sit with you and give you attention, and patience, but he had it. They are WONDERFUL here, and they deserve nothing less than a 5 star review!Read Less

Dr. Pinkwasser is a wonderful vet!!!!! A while back we started taking our rescue dogs to Courtyard Animal Hospital and I was very impressed with everything!!! Since then I have started taking my own dogs there as well. Just recently one of my German Shepherds needed surgery. I had to leave him there which I didn't like to do but I knew he would be in great hands. Dr. Pinkwasser called me with updates thru out the day which put me at ease. It ended up being a bit of a difficult surgery which could have caused many complications but everything went smoothly and my dog is doing great!!! Read Less

Save your money & go to a vet that is not going to lie about the treatment of a dog. Go to a reputable vet that will not yell at you when they are caught in a lie. If I knew then what I know now about this vet, I would have gone to my vet @ South Shore Animal Hospital. And the SHARE Rescue is no better than this vet. Read Less

What an AWESOME experience. This was our 1st appointment. Dr. Pinkwasser sat on the floor with my dog and it was a great experience. He spoke to my 8 year old daughter so she could understand what she needed to do to make our dog a better behaved member of our family. The whole staff was wonderful. I'm glad we made a change. I have been a client with Dr Marc forever. He sees my personal pets and also my rescues that I foster. He and his staff have always been accommodating. Nicole, the boss of the front desk is helpful, and works with my crazy schedule. Dr. Marc gets down on his knees to greet my animals, saying hello on their level.
