Planco Veterinary Care

There are a lot of proficient vet doctors out there, but not very many are genuinely and completely compassionate as Dr. Planco. What I mean by this, is that he is a very skilled veterinarian. He is a person who is very concern in taking care of your pet with as much love and care(and urgency), no matter what the situation is. He speaks to you in a personable and sincere way; in understandable language which makes you feel that you and your pet really do matter and are important. My husband and I had a very sick cat that we rushed to the good doctor in "cardiac" arrest (literally, this was unexpected and without warning or calling first). In fact, "Rocky"(our cat), had actually stopped breathing when we burst into Dr. Planco's clinic, and had already started displaying post-death reflexes. He barely had a heart beat. Without hesitating a second or stopping to ask any questions, the good Doctor (who had actually been with another patient) stopped what he was doing immediately and rushed "Rocky" to the op-room to start resuscitation. He didn't waste a second. For minutes, we watched as he worked on "Rocky". After some time (it was close) ....but the Doctor did it! He was able to save our little boy and get him breathing again and his heart pumping! This was something that amazed my husband and I completely and that we will never, ever forget. We know in our hearts that "Rocky" could have never made with anyone else. We firmly believe that any "emergency hospital" would not have acted as quickly or diligently. It's a Veterinarian's education and skill that makes him good one; but it's also his passion and willingness not to quit that makes him a great one. Dr. Planco is a great one :) Our humblest thanks. Dr. Planco has always been very caring and wonderful with our dogs and cats. It is worth the extra $ to have him come to your house for the euthanasia of an older animal...much less stress for your pet. He and his staff are wonderful. Read Less

I have been taking my fur babies to Dr Planco for over 11 years. I have one cat who has always had health issues. Dr Planco is so kind and gentle with Gia. He even came to his office in the middle of the night because she was sick. I would never trust any of my babies with any other Doctor. Dr Planco has been a blessing to us. Read Less

My dog is in pain. I have visited Planco several times over the past 1.5 years. I begged them to take a post dated check from me or my credit card that they could run on Wednesday of the following week. They would not. Dr. Planco is the best! My little 4 lb Zoey needed a dental cleaning and I was very nervous of her size to put her in a stressful situation. Dr. Planco is truly THE BEST! He is "right on" with diagnoses, SO COMPASSIONATE and DEDICATED to his profession! He treats his fur clients as if they were his own! I have owned dogs for 40+ years and he is hands down the most wonderful vet I have ever visited! Dr. Planco is one of the very few outstanding Vets out there in my opinion. I have experience with vets in three states over 30 years, and he is the best, in every way. Dr. Planco and his staff not only take the time to talk to you and your animals, but he has proven time and time again that he is the best ever. I moved from PA and was worried about leaving my vet, shortly after we moved down my dog had a growth on his foot that needed removed.
