I have been using this vet for years. Dr Tanner and Dr Berger are the two vets here that I see most frequently. Recently my baby, Killian, was diagnosed with a terminal illness. Dr. Berger took so much time and care with him. Even took time to make a special medicine for him when the lab couldn’t compound it quick enough. He was there and supportive in so many ways. The staff is always magnificent too! They spent so much time with me on the phone and relaying messages to Dr. Berger about my cat while he was in surgery just so that I could get the quickest care possible! Dr.Berger and his staff are the most amazing and best in the area. He took a difficult case with my cat, Pumpkin, but took it in stride. He goes above and beyond by calling me directly when I have questions. He is extremely thorough in his explanation and spends a lot of time with you. He even called Blue Pearl when my cat was hospitalized. He is the only one that has given my cat the ability to lead a normal life. My aunt and cousin highly recommended them because they care about your pets. It is clear that Dr.Berger cares and not just for the simple cases that come in for a nail clipping or fleas. My husband has been bringing our dogs here, and recently I took our cat in for the first time for swollen eyelids on one eye. Everyone we saw was friendly and helpful. Dr Berger was great - he seemed to truly care about my cat and take interest in her issue. He discussed possible causes of her problem, and outlined what the treatments would be for each potential diagnosis. The cause of the swelling was not readily apparent, so based on how she presented, we started with the least invasive treatment: eyedrops. Those took care of the problem very effectively, and now her eyelids are back to normal! I was very happy with how he handled everything. My cat seemed to like him, too - she purred during the exam. The staff and doctor were very helpful with our cat. Since seeing the staff at the animal hospital he is doing 100% better. When i went and mentioned a non profit Allie Cares, who helps people and pets with limited income get the care they need for their pets, they gave me a $25 discount and donated another $25 to Allie Cares. amazing experience no wait time everyone was very professional. they explained everything very thoroughly and said if I ever had any questions don't hesitate to call. they also asked if I was referred by anybody and I said yes and they looked them up in system and they gave me an instant $25 off and also said if you check in on Facebook you could get another $5 off. so I ended up getting $30 off my first visit and an office visit is normally 52.so I paid $22 for my visit. they didn't have to tell me about the referral discount but they did which is awesome in my book will definitely go back again only downfall was blood work was very expensive but they are willing to work on payment plans which I totally appreciate thanks for a great experience Read Less

I love dogs I had a family (mother,father,son) but we recently had to put down the father which has left deep imprints in our hearts. Nonetheless, it was handled very professional, and very respectfully done. We were amazed and pleasantly surprised at your follow up sympathy mail and flowers (thank you for making it easier to day farewell to our 15 yr old dog Tramp). We have used quail over 13 years since before they were at this facility. We have been seen by just about every staff member and doctors. We are given utmost respect and quick appointment's. I recently had to take my dog to the vet after she got attacked by another dog. I was a more of a wreck than my dog was. I called Quail Hollow and they were able to fit me in last minute and let me bring here in right away. Dr.Tanner was so nice and really helped calm me down by explaining everything thoroughly. All of the office staff and vet techs were also just as sweet and knowledgeable. I felt the prices were very fair for the services that I received. In fact the estimate they gave, for my dog to be put under and have stitches, I thought was very reasonable and it actually ended up being less when all was said and done. My husband had to bring our elderly cat in for what we suspected was a full blockage. After a $900 surgical estimate my husband asked about the cost to put the cat out of its pain. He could hear the staff talk about him and call him "these people who just want to kill their animals". Then the vet declined to euthanize our cat because she didn't feel like that was the right decision. She gave our cat a shot for the pain and sent him on his way. You're terrible staff made an already difficult decision even harder. Your judgements made it uncomfortable and your derision for our choice. Your staff has no idea about our financial situation and how hard even contemplating euthanasia was. The good news is, the poor cat is crying in agony every time we try to pet him.Read Less

Our visit to Quail Hollow was the second time we had been there. We had a check up for our little shihtzu Mocha Coconut, and also I noticed he had some scabs on his forehead. He had banged on his crate and had two big spots. We met first with the vet tech, and she asked us about our questions and concerns regarding Mocha. She was nice. Afterwards we met with Dr. Caroline Aparicio. I could tell right away that Mocha was comfortable with her. He went right to her. He is always anxious when it comes to the vet, but this time he was more at ease with her. She answered our questions and was very gentle and loving with him. I appreciate her and her knowledge. She made us also feel at ease.I had gone on the Wesley Chapel FB community board. There were many positives they gave for Quail Hollow. Many also said they are quite pricey, but definitely worth it. After relocating here from Long Island, we heard a lot of great things about this vet. It was an easy decision for me to schedule a surgery for my doberman puppy to get neutered due to all the positive feedback. We brought him in the week prior to his surgery for his pre-surgical exam, and all was good. Come the day of the surgery, with the catheter already in place and my puppy half way towards dreamland, I get a call from the vet explaining to me that they never did a Von Willebrand test (particularly because dobermans are prone to this blood clotting disease) and that they wanted me to give them the 'okay' to go ahead with the surgery. Without having conducted the test, there was no way of telling if my dog would clot properly, yet they were willing to take the risk and go ahead with my consent. They also told me that they were missing a particular instrument necessary for the surgery, and that they were trying to locate one elsewhere. Keep in mind, my puppy was 'on deck' for his neutering and already had the catheter pumping in to his limb. Due to the lack of conducting the VW test, the willingness to go ahead and do the surgery with my consent (I'm not an expert) without having a guarantee that he would clot properly, and then the absence of the necessary instrument to conduct the surgery was enough for me to decide to halt the process. This team clearly wasn't prepared to soundly conduct the surgery on my loved one. I picked him up and will find another vet. I was very disappointed because it was a very nice establishment and has a ton of positive reviews. Perhaps my experience is an 'isolated incident', but an everlasting one at that. Read Less

Took my toy poodle here for vet services since I get her groomed here. I was very disappointed with the price gouging. I signed a paper stating my appt would cost $130. Despite the vet telling me my pup is healthy and doing great, they decided to give me a couple items that are supposively good for her joints (price was not discussed). Ending total=$240!!So not only have they lost my business for vet services, I won't be coming back for grooming either. Read Less
