Excellent service. I have been taking my various pets here for years. Whether it's a life threatening surgery or just a checkup they have always treated me like family. I've been to other animal hospitals but Trail has taken care of my pets better than anyone. They have even been there for me when I have had to put down my eldest dog and handled it with all the love and care I would expect from my own sister. Thank you so much for saving my babies more times than I can count! Parking in the back.

Had my dog Charlie boarded the 21st of December 2018.Picked her up the 31st of December 2018.She was given back sticky and smelly but they said they bathed her. Her paws were super red, they looked burned. Her lips and butt were bright red too. Ears were super dirty. We had to bathe her and clean her ears.We called everyday except weekends(closed) and they said she was fine. They didn't tell us that she had diarrhea. They said it when I picked her up. After arriving home, she ran for the water. She looked thinner. Her poop didn't smell like poop. It smelled entirely of iron. She was bleeding out of her butt, it was torn. She has just been sleeping ever since she came home, she's strangely quiet and doesn't want to play. I've never had this experience before. We've had her boarded many times and never had this problem. We don't know what happened. Usually they call a day after picking her up to see how she's doing but they didn't this time. They must know something really happened. We need honest answers NOW.

I am very happy to have found this hospital for my beloved puppy (now 7 months). The doctors are kind, patient and explain everything in great detail. The first months, when my Cavapoo dog had to have all the vaccines, they called me every time to check on how was he feeling. The assistants are soft and sweet, my dog loves them! (and you know, dogs are intuitive). Getting an appointment is easy, the parking is small but if you go early in the morning yo can find a spot. They also have some insurances, like Nationwide, and they offer bath, grooming and boarding. In summary, professional attention, kindness with the dog and its owner, clean facilities and good prices.

I would have given Trail Animal Hospital a 5 last year...I had been going to them for 15+ years and trusted Dr. Lista with my all my pets....I will not be going into details but I will not be going back, and I am in the process of looking for another vet. One thing I learned from a recent experience with one of my dogs who unfortunately passed away is to ask questions, not to take it for granted that a vet knows everything, or will notice anything unusual in your pet, in my case my dog's nose was a bit discolored, I took it for granted that because nothing was mentioned it was fine, I assumed it was old age, my dog had lost weight and when doing his check up his weight loss was not even mentioned or there was no concerned over it. To sum it all, ask questions, don't assume they notice everything or read vitals such as weight. I feel I let my dog down for being completely trusting. He was very sick, but I was told by specialists that saw him afterwards that there were some signs that were ignored,. I might have been able to atleast have him a bit longer, but I will never know. Doctors are human too, mistakes or just overlooking things can happen.

Dr Martais very attentive, knowledgable, and listens to your issues and unlike other vets who just give pills, treats your dog with a whole body approach to help stop any issues. Highly recommend.

We have been bringing our rescued rott-mix, Tori, to Trails for vet care and boarding for the past five years. She is a very anxious pup who usually is mistrustful of everyone. However, she likes it there and loves the staff! Remarkable! As she is getting older, the staff has remained very loving and compassionate, which is appreciated by not only Tori, but also her worried mother! Tori fell outside the office during her last visit when her hips gave out and one of the amazing techs (Erika) ran right out and scooped her up with heroic strength and care! I brought him in with a muzzle for his safety and theirs. Dr.Lista and her staff were very calm and reassuring when handling him. They took X rays and by the end of the visit he wasn't wearing the muzzle.. Dr.Lista and her staff made him feel very safe and I couldn't be happier to find a new veterinarian!

I just could not ask for a better Vet.! My dog, which my husband and I rescued from the streets, not a dog pound, the streets, was in such bad conditions that she was almost dying. I found her at only 9 weeks of age (3 months). Dr. Lista warned my husband and I, that the condition of the puppy was so bad that the percentage of the puppy making it out of this was low, because she was severely infected with hook worms and at such young age this worms are deadly in the majority of cases. My husband and I decided to risk it and go for the treatment. It was not cheap but I couldn't let the poor puppy just die. Dr Lista was so loving towards the poor thing, like she truly cared for the well being of this animal. Long story short, after many visits to the Vet. and last minute "please help me" and many calls, my dog, April, survived! Dr. Lista and her team were always so helpful, state of the art Veterinary clinic, and most of all they did their job well and truthfully. If it wasn't for Dr. Lista my April wouldn't be here, and not only here but healthy! Although the journey for her recovery was not an easy or short one or cheap one lol, it was all worth it, and I'll do it again if I had to, and I'll pick Trail Animal Hospital all over again.. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A VETERINARIAN, LOOK NO MORE, IT JUST DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS!!

Dr. Lista and her staff are so loving and caring! They always go above and beyond with our "children". Everyone there treats them like babies, not customers.
Location is pretty central to everything. The place is always clean and smells clean (which is a big deal at vet's offices). There are about 5-6 parking spaces right in front.
Easy and flexible for appointments (including Saturdays). They also offer kennel services for your little one while you are away. Everything is electronic, online and modern.
I would trust Dr. Lista and her crew at Trail with eyes closed.

We rescued a pure bred german shepherd puppy (11 weeks) who was in disheveled condition and on our first visit Dr. Lista cleaned her ears, vaccinated her, took a fecal sample and tested it, treated her for hook worms, discussed the breed, different methods of training and food.. We are in love with the staff as well, Alex, Zury and Wendy are FANTASTIC with pets cats and dogs alike. There are not enough good things to say about this place. Super affordable at $102.00 for all the above plus subsequent visits for additional puppy vaccinations are included in the initial puppy visit. If your on the fence about a place THIS IS IT. After doing a lot of searching, I've found a clinic that's caring and affordable. The whole staff is attentive and show their honest concern for your pet. My dog suffers from a lot of stomach problems and about 2 months ago developed severe gastritis. I took him to the clinic ,without an appt and was quickly treated. It only took him a few days to get back to normal. The doctor is very understanding and takes her time. They've even developed a portal to keep track of your dog's medications, appts and vaccines. Great online tool! The clinic is very clean and organized!

Excellent service. I have been taking my various pets here for years. Whether it's a life threatening surgery or just a checkup they have always treated me like family. I've been to other animal hospitals but Trail has taken care of my pets better than anyone. They have even been there for me when I have had to put down my eldest dog and handled it with all the love and care I would expect from my own sister. Thank you so much for saving my babies more times than I can count! Parking in the back.

Had my dog Charlie boarded the 21st of December 2018.Picked her up the 31st of December 2018.She was given back sticky and smelly but they said they bathed her. Her paws were super red, they looked burned. Her lips and butt were bright red too. Ears were super dirty. We had to bathe her and clean her ears.We called everyday except weekends(closed) and they said she was fine. They didn't tell us that she had diarrhea. They said it when I picked her up. After arriving home, she ran for the water. She looked thinner. Her poop didn't smell like poop. It smelled entirely of iron. She was bleeding out of her butt, it was torn. She has just been sleeping ever since she came home, she's strangely quiet and doesn't want to play. I've never had this experience before. We've had her boarded many times and never had this problem. We don't know what happened. Usually they call a day after picking her up to see how she's doing but they didn't this time. They must know something really happened. We need honest answers NOW.

I am very happy to have found this hospital for my beloved puppy (now 7 months). The doctors are kind, patient and explain everything in great detail. The first months, when my Cavapoo dog had to have all the vaccines, they called me every time to check on how was he feeling. The assistants are soft and sweet, my dog loves them! (and you know, dogs are intuitive). Getting an appointment is easy, the parking is small but if you go early in the morning yo can find a spot. They also have some insurances, like Nationwide, and they offer bath, grooming and boarding. In summary, professional attention, kindness with the dog and its owner, clean facilities and good prices.

I would have given Trail Animal Hospital a 5 last year...I had been going to them for 15+ years and trusted Dr. Lista with my all my pets....I will not be going into details but I will not be going back, and I am in the process of looking for another vet. One thing I learned from a recent experience with one of my dogs who unfortunately passed away is to ask questions, not to take it for granted that a vet knows everything, or will notice anything unusual in your pet, in my case my dog's nose was a bit discolored, I took it for granted that because nothing was mentioned it was fine, I assumed it was old age, my dog had lost weight and when doing his check up his weight loss was not even mentioned or there was no concerned over it. To sum it all, ask questions, don't assume they notice everything or read vitals such as weight. I feel I let my dog down for being completely trusting. He was very sick, but I was told by specialists that saw him afterwards that there were some signs that were ignored,. I might have been able to atleast have him a bit longer, but I will never know. Doctors are human too, mistakes or just overlooking things can happen.

We took our basset hound Nahla to the vet based on the Google reviews and other reviews. This is by far the best veterinarian in the Miami area. Dr Martais very attentive, knowledgable, and listens to your issues and unlike other vets who just give pills, treats your dog with a whole body approach to help stop any issues. Highly recommend.

We have been bringing our rescued rott-mix, Tori, to Trails for vet care and boarding for the past five years. She is a very anxious pup who usually is mistrustful of everyone. However, she likes it there and loves the staff! Remarkable! As she is getting older, the staff has remained very loving and compassionate, which is appreciated by not only Tori, but also her worried mother! Tori fell outside the office during her last visit when her hips gave out and one of the amazing techs (Erika) ran right out and scooped her up with heroic strength and care! I went to Trail Animal Hospital when my 15yr old rescue min pin began acting lethargic and sickly. He is a rescue and has been know to bite when stressed. I brought him in with a muzzle for his safety and theirs. Dr.Lista and her staff were very calm and reassuring when handling him. They took X rays and by the end of the visit he wasn't wearing the muzzle.. Dr.Lista and her staff made him feel very safe and I couldn't be happier to find a new veterinarian!

I just could not ask for a better Vet.! My dog, which my husband and I rescued from the streets, not a dog pound, the streets, was in such bad conditions that she was almost dying. I found her at only 9 weeks of age (3 months). Dr. Lista warned my husband and I, that the condition of the puppy was so bad that the percentage of the puppy making it out of this was low, because she was severely infected with hook worms and at such young age this worms are deadly in the majority of cases. My husband and I decided to risk it and go for the treatment. It was not cheap but I couldn't let the poor puppy just die. Dr Lista was so loving towards the poor thing, like she truly cared for the well being of this animal. Long story short, after many visits to the Vet. and last minute "please help me" and many calls, my dog, April, survived! Dr. Lista and her team were always so helpful, state of the art Veterinary clinic, and most of all they did their job well and truthfully. If it wasn't for Dr. Lista my April wouldn't be here, and not only here but healthy! Although the journey for her recovery was not an easy or short one or cheap one lol, it was all worth it, and I'll do it again if I had to, and I'll pick Trail Animal Hospital all over again.. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A VETERINARIAN, LOOK NO MORE, IT JUST DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS!!

Location is pretty central to everything. The place is always clean and smells clean (which is a big deal at vet's offices). There are about 5-6 parking spaces right in front.
Easy and flexible for appointments (including Saturdays). They also offer kennel services for your little one while you are away. Everything is electronic, online and modern.
I would trust Dr. Lista and her crew at Trail with eyes closed.

We rescued a pure bred german shepherd puppy (11 weeks) who was in disheveled condition and on our first visit Dr. Lista cleaned her ears, vaccinated her, took a fecal sample and tested it, treated her for hook worms, discussed the breed, different methods of training and food.. We are in love with the staff as well, Alex, Zury and Wendy are FANTASTIC with pets cats and dogs alike. There are not enough good things to say about this place. Super affordable at $102.00 for all the above plus subsequent visits for additional puppy vaccinations are included in the initial puppy visit. If your on the fence about a place THIS IS IT. THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. We came all the way from North Miami and got TOP NOTCH service! Tell them Mia the German Sheperd sent you ;-)

Dr. Lista is the best! She's treated several mature dogs of my family's, each with numerous maladies. Two were euthanized when their time on this earth was up. They passed with dignity and sorrow, but...
Dr. Lista is the best! She's treated several mature dogs of my family's, each with numerous maladies. Two were euthanized when their time on this earth was up. They passed with dignity and sorrow, but without pain. Dr. Lista was always there when we needed her, and her knowledge and compassion was so comforting. I cannot recommend her highly enough. You can trust your loved ones to her caring hands and heart.

After doing a lot of searching, I've found a clinic that's caring and affordable. The whole staff is attentive and show their honest concern for your pet. My dog suffers from a lot of stomach problems...
After doing a lot of searching, I've found a clinic that's caring and affordable. The whole staff is attentive and show their honest concern for your pet. My dog suffers from a lot of stomach problems and about 2 months ago developed severe gastritis. I took him to the clinic ,without an appt and was quickly treated. It only took him a few days to get back to normal. The doctor is very understanding and takes her time. They've even developed a portal to keep track of your dog's medications, appts and vaccines. Great online tool! The clinic is very clean and organized!
