Always a long, long wait - even if I arrive 10-15 minutes before my appoitment. The receptionist and vet techs are wonderful, but the actual veterinarians aren't the best. They often shrug off my concerns, and don't give a proper diagnosis. Recently went with one of my kittens who developed an awful skin problem, they ran one test, which came back negative, then guessed what it could be. Didnt give me any options on how to actually help her or treat her issue. Had to do my own research and trials to treat her. After that, I won't be returning.

If I could give Banfield 0 stars I would. I had taken my cat to Banfield for thirteen years. During that time they had been giving my cat Feline Leukemia vaccinations for an indoor cat. I was never informed of the risks of vaccination or the issues that adjuvent vaccines can pose. Not to mention I come to find out that 99% of the cats that Dr. Carroll treats don’t even get a feline leukemia vaccination because they are indoor cats like mine. After getting vaccinated my cat had an injection site reaction which is severe inflammation that can turn into cancer. After my cat developed this mass I got another opinion of from another vet who recommended I take my cat to a cancer clinic. The expert cancer doctor recommended immediate removal as these can turn into cancer and ultimately lead to amputation. I explained all this to Banfield as I am seeking repayment for the $3,000+ surgery to remove the growth from their vaccination that was a mistreatment as my cat is an indoor cat like the 99% of others that wouldn’t normally get this vaccination. Also, I would have thought Banfield would have had the customer service to return my 4-5 phone calls in the 2-3 weeks I was waiting for a response after removing the lump. I can’t recommend enough to any loving pet owner to seek a more competent, caring and involved veterinary clinic besides Banfield. Dr. Carroll (who reached out to me after I cancelled my cats health plan) told me that I had removed the lump unnecessarily and that I should have waited for it to become cancer to remove it. This was against the advice of the cancer clinic as well as anything I know in the medical profession. Run away from this place!!!

5 stars!! The ONLY place that took in a lost puppy I found with an infestation of fleas and a wound on her neck. They let me drop her off immediately and I picked her back up in less than 2 hours with ZERO fleas, a treated wound, a39 day flea prevention pill and a COURTESY pink harness. Initially I went to Peggy Adams and was turned away, Paws 2 rescue and they were over booked with walk ins until I found Banfield. I didn’t even know they we’re located INSIDE OF PETSMART. Anyway, they were the best. When she was ready to get picked up the Vet called me and explained thoroughly how to feed her and how to proceed further in terms of adoption, microchipping and fascinations! What a godsent place! 💜 Again, 5 stars!!!

Yesterday I arrived 20 min before closing with my dog who had stopped breathing after and allergic reaction. After 2 long hours of oxygen, fluids and meds this team of amazing women brought my best friend back....she could have died. These women worked after hours and treated her like she was their own. The vet was very professional and helpful...again, thankful for everything they have done.

I’m switching back to the Banfield up in Jupiter which I went to years ago, or even the royal palm location. My experiences have been nothing but awful. The staff is not friendly or accommodating, and seem to be on power trip every time. 3 times in a row they power play over getting extra charges, or the doctor leaves early cause they have an excused or sell you on extra services just so they can charge the puppy plans company. Never had bad experiences with Jupiter banfield, were always accommodating. Worth the drive for better experience.

This location is great! We have taken out cats to other locations with not so great results....however Dr. Bullock is phenomenal!! She continues to call and inquire about our cat who is no longer her patient right now...she goes above and way beyond and is extremely competent (as well as the vet techs we have met at this location)!! Would definitely recommend others to Dr. Bullock!

We took our cat here because we adopted her as a kitten from the Peggy Adams section in the petsmart. The second time we brought her to see the vet we did a "drop off visit". DO NOT and I mean DO NOT drop your animal off here for any kind of treatment. I've had animals my whole life and have done drop off visits and had no issues. After this drop off visit for a check up, our cat has become extremely skiddish, terrified, and now aggressive when she is around anyone other than me and my boyfriend. She was never an aggressive cat but we can no longer have anyone over or take her to the vet without her hisssing,spitting, and being absolutely terrified. Whatever they did to her on her drop off visit traumatized her and that is not acceptable. I would not recommend anyone bringing their animal here or any other band field pet hospital.

I actually love this place. I have all 3 of my pets signed up on their wellness plan, 2 dogs and a cat. They are very friendly and thorough. The only thing is, i don't reccomend drop offs of your pet....
I actually love this place. I have all 3 of my pets signed up on their wellness plan, 2 dogs and a cat. They are very friendly and thorough. The only thing is, i don't reccomend drop offs of your pet. It takes hours, at least for me. I dropped my dog off this morning at 8 for an exam and shots, haven't heard from them since and it's already 12. First time trying it, won't be trying it again, I don't like leaving my pet alone that long in a strange place. Although, overall, great place.

UNLESS you want 3 separate veterinarians seeing your pet on 3 separate visits.

Do NOT take your pet to Banfield Animal "Hospital".
Do NOT purchase their "Wellness" plan.
UNLESS you want 3 separate veterinarians seeing your pet on 3 separate visits.
UNLESS you want your dog to be mistaken for another owner's pet by the doctor, who admitted she had "no idea" what animal she was supposed to be seeing.
UNLESS you want a veterinarian who suggests your pet have dental services, even though the appointment was already scheduled with them and was taking place the following week.
UNLESS, when you do take your pet for the scheduled dental service, you are informed that blood work indicates your pet should be put on supplements and have extra tests (NONE of which are covered in your "wellness" plan) and monitored for at least a month BEFORE having the dental cleaning (which is covered in the "wellness" plan).
UNLESS you want to feel as if you were being sold a new air-filter and wiper blades at a discount oil-change franchise.
UNLESS you want to ignore the reviews and advice of others, as I unfortunately did.
I'm taking my pet back to my previous veterinarian.
I always thought he charged a bit too much.....but at least he NEVER acted unethically.
Oh....and he ALWAYS knew what pet he was seeing.

We have had such a good experience. We put our pup on the puppy wellness plan and have had extraordinary care. So much we are putting our adult pet on a wellness plan as well. I love the option for drop off or personal appointment. We use both. If it's a routine check up, get heartworm preventative we normally do drop off, and get our baby after work. For other testing and care, or if we just have questions about something we may have concern for.. we just call and make an appointment and we always get answers. We love Dr. Bullock at this store. Our baby girl is well taken care of.

Took a small kitten here on a Wednesday and she was perfectly healthy. Starting Thursday night she was left active and by Friday downright concerning. When she went in the first time they saw blood in her stool and weren't concerned, Friday around noon I called and said it was worse and she was lethargic. The nurse said she'd talk to Dr. Salvo and call me right back. After 15 minutes I called back and they felt it wasn't necessary to come in and told me just keep her comfortable with water and I could have them prescribe something to calm her intestines. She was much worse after work and it was too late to take her in- we were going to take her somewhere else on Saturday morning, but she didn't make it through the night. I'm concerned she caught something there and that when I called Friday they didn't feel there was anything wrong. Wish I had never gone here.

Always a long, long wait - even if I arrive 10-15 minutes before my appoitment. The receptionist and vet techs are wonderful, but the actual veterinarians aren't the best. They often shrug off my concerns, and don't give a proper diagnosis. Yesterday I arrived 20 min before closing with my dog who had stopped breathing after and allergic reaction. After 2 long hours of oxygen, fluids and meds this team of amazing women brought my best friend back....she could have died. These women worked after hours and treated her like she was their own. The vet was very professional and helpful...again, thankful for everything they have done.

I’m switching back to the Banfield up in Jupiter which I went to years ago, or even the royal palm location. My experiences have been nothing but awful. This location is great! We have taken out cats to other locations with not so great results....however Dr. Bullock is phenomenal!! She continues to call and inquire about our cat who is no longer her patient right now...she goes above and way beyond and is extremely competent (as well as the vet techs we have met at this location)!!
