I have a 3 year old rescue pup with major separation anxiety. She is an escape artist that can get out of every leash and collar except for the harness that she is comfortable with. Every time we have brought our dog to the Ibis Animal Hospital it has not been an issue for us to walk her up to the door for our peace of mind that she will not get out and for the safety of our puppy. Just like any other day, we called and set an appointment for today December 4th 2020 at 4pm for an examination on a potential ear infection. We were told today that we were not allowed to bring our dog up to the door and that an office member would have to come out to walk her all the way up. Unfortunately we do not feel comfortable doing this so we explained again to the staff how we have been doing it for the last year. The staff informed us that that was wrong and we would not be allowed to do that. The doctor called me back to inform me that the office staff told her that i had never done this before and they had no idea what I was talking about. This being a lie, I simply stated this is the only way I feel comfortable doing it and if I was not able to bring my dog safely up to the door, I would have to go elsewhere. Upon saying this, the doctor told me "Good luck pretty much all of the vets are doing it this way now." Which is also not true, multiple vets in Palm Beach Gardens allow this knowing certain customers have certain issues like ours with there animals. Also, upon my dogs last visit, I requested doctors notes to be sent to me for my pets insurance. I was promised I would receive them in 14 days. After 14 days I called and they said they would leave the doctor a note knowing this was important I received them. It has now been a month since the original visit and I still have not received my requested doctors notes. The excuse this time was "I'm very busy so I can only get to them when I get to them." The lack of professionalism and inability to help accommodate us with or simple request is why I will not be returning and I will be letting my close friends and family who attend Ibis Animal Hospital of my horrible experience.

Doctor Felz is wonderful. The staff is wonderful. Jeff the manager is HORRIBLE. We have been customers for 7 years but Jeff has driven our business elsewhere. We went to another vet today and they called Jeff to get our dog's history. Jeff said it would be 14 days before they receive them. Our dog was in pain and we needed the history. The office manager called Jeff and he hung up on her. We hear the same thing from all of our neighbors who also used to go the Ibis Animal Hospital. We feel sorry for Dr Felz but she refuses to do anything about Jeff.

My friends have had bad experiences with them and they have ripped me off on pricing of medications for my dogIf if I can give them a zero star aside from the fact that the front desk was very sweet I would. I have been using Ibis Animal Hospital for the care and well being of my cat Holden since he was kitten. He is now 5 and every yearly checkup, he is treated with the best, consistent and quality care every pet deserves! Usually, Dr. Felz usually sees Holden, but yesterday Dr. Acosta saw him. He and the staff were very gentle with Holden and he was actually purring when Dr. Acosta was listening to his heart. Got all of his vaccines, nails clipped, etc. Very professional and highly recommend! The Doctors and staff are Holden's second family!

After calling 10+ vets if they accommodate walk-ins and getting a no from each one. I called Ibis animal hospital which told me they take walk-ins. I assumed it would be a hefty wait for a walk-in but only we only had to wait maybe 10 minutes before being taken back to an exam room, a pleasant surprise. Wonderful care was taken with my cat. I was presented with several options with pricing in writing to help accommodate my budget. The experience was above and beyond what I expected. I would definitely recommend.

BEWARE! BEWARE! This is in reference to the once a week GROOMER ONLY. The groomer left our dogs in 100+ degree temperatures for several hours! We dropped them off before 9:00 AM and picked them up around 5:00 PM. When we walked in to pick them up the sauna like heat hit us like a brick wall. The receptionist told us they had no air conditioning all day. No call to us was ever made to ask if we want to re-schedule because of the lack of air-conditioning. In my honest opinion it appears that the groomer was too greedy to call or ask the desk to call since she would lose the business for that day. BRING YOUR PETS THERE FOR GROOMING AT YOUR OWN RISK! Our dogs have been sick for three days now, and in my opinion, it was from the extensive heat they experienced from their time over there. Again, in our opinion, it was ANIMAL ABUSE. They still have diarrhea and will not eat a thing. They appear depressed and mad at us for leaving them in such deplorable conditions for that day. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME WE ARE POSTING THIS REVIEW! THEY DELETED THE FIRST TIME!

Amazing! They saved my cats foot!Dr. Felz and her staff are amazing. She showed such great care and knowledge in saving my cats foot from being amputated due to a horrible infection after he was attacked outside. You can trust they will do everything possible to help you keep your pet healthy and safe! I can't thank her and the rest of the vet staff enough for all they have done to help us. Thank you so so much to Dr. Felz & Dr. Dias! Without their help he might not have made it and def would have lost his foot. After 2+ months of treatment he is now back to being a normal healthy cat. I recommend them to all my friends and family with pets. God bless and thank you!

Dr. Felz and her staff were integral in resolving those issues, and making them three healthy and happy kitties. I love, love, love, Dr. Felz and her staff. I have known and taken my four dachshunds to Dr. Felz for close to 15yrs. Three of my babies are at the Rainbow Bridge now, but I still have my 15yr old Sadie that Dr. Felz still cares for.
Dr. Felz has always shown knowledge, professionalism, caring, and pride in her practice.

Was very disappointed in the groomer services. Prices were as high as a mobile grooming service or for a groomer coming to your home. My dog was there at 8:30am and was not done until almost 3pm! He came home parched and drank almost two full bowls of water! I was told he was offered water during his stay, but I am skeptical. I didn't get a comfortable feeling from the groomer or the office. Not returning.

I have been very pleased with Ibis Animal Hospital so much that I've switched my two dogs to there from Midcounty Vet (it's also closer to my house). My only complaint (and thus four stars) is their cost--it does seem their prices are higher than most vets and they do not usually offer the most economical solution first. For example, re-checks are always a cost (even if they're 5 minutes). I was also once advised to get a very expensive service done on my dog's ears (flush) at a specialist when I asked what would happen if I didn't get it done and just watched it to ensure another infection didn't reoccur. They said that would be a reasonable course also and sure enough, he never needed that expensive ear flush.However, overall, I do think my dogs get good care there and I'm just diligent about trying to be sure I'm not overspending on anything. I've never had problems with last minute appointments, which is nice as well.

I have read the previous writer's review and could not disagree more with their review. Dr. Fetz has been my dog's vet for several years since I moved to Florida. She is caring, sensitive, and knowledgable. She has been right on the money in diagnosing my dog's illnesses. When she felt a specialist was needed, she was first to suggest that I see one, giving me the names of several doctors which allowed me to interview each before selecting whom I wanted. My 11 year old Border Terrier has had some serious health issues which Dr. Fetz has been able to keep under control. The number of times my dog needed surgery Dr. Fetz recommended a surgeon from whom I could seek a second opinion. Sorry to say but the previous writer has no idea about what she is talking. Would you take advice from a snowbird who has limited interaction with the doctor and based on one visit make a determination that the doctor is not qualified. Thank god I have Dr. Fetz as she is more than competent. She is excellent.

I highly recommend Ibis Animal Hospital, Dr. Lillian Felz and staff. My dogs always go in wagging their tails rather than shaking in the waiting area as has been the case at other veterinary clinics. I have experienced end of life care for one of my dogs and Dr. Felz was most compassionate, even coming to the house so as not to traumatize our beloved pet. I feel that the previous review was unfair as the reviewer is not a regular patient and from what I gathered, the treatment given seemed to be in the best interest of the animal. USE ANOTHER VET:Let me start by saying this place came highly recommended to us as it is closely located to where my parents reside and we were visiting family for the Xmas holidays. We met with Dr Lillian Felz. We were walk-in patients (be forewarned, we waited for 1 1/2 hours) and explained our dog, Chester had developed what looked like a blood blister on the top part of the anus area. Dr Felz examined Chester and came back saying he should be on an antibiotic ( Simpliced) to see if it decreases in size and if not it will need to be surgically removed. We asked the pricing for the surgery to see if it was more cost advantageous for us to do it there, rather than in NY but it was not so we said thanks, paid $75 and left. Upon our return to NY the blood blister did not grow, the antibiotic did not seem to change anything and then went to our regular vet who in 10 seconds of seeing the blister called it a CYST, popped it and it was gone!!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you consider using a different vet as Dr Felz would have performed surgery, put my dog under anesthesia and charged me ~ $600--700 unnecessarily.SORRY TO SAY BUT THIS DR IS NOT QUALIFIED. I mean come on, how many animals must they have seen over their years of practice to know this was a cyst, try to aspirate it first rather than badly misdiagnosing a dog. She wanted previous vet reports but that is also irrelevant further highlighting her lack of qualifications. Thank god we have a competent vet in NY. DON"T SAY YOU HAVEN"T BEEN FOREWARNED

After calling 10+ vets if they accommodate walk-ins and getting a no from each one. I called Ibis animal hospital which told me they take walk-ins. I assumed it would be a hefty wait for a walk-in but only we only had to wait maybe 10 minutes before being taken back to an exam room, a pleasant surprise. Wonderful care was taken with my cat. I was presented with several options with pricing in writing to help accommodate my budget. The experience was above and beyond what I expected. I would definitely recommend.

BEWARE! BEWARE! This is in reference to the once a week GROOMER ONLY. The groomer left our dogs in 100+ degree temperatures for several hours! We dropped them off before 9:00 AM and picked them up around 5:00 PM. When we walked in to pick them up the sauna like heat hit us like a brick wall. The receptionist told us they had no air conditioning all day. No call to us was ever made to ask if we want to re-schedule because of the lack of air-conditioning. In my honest opinion it appears that the groomer was too greedy to call or ask the desk to call since she would lose the business for that day. BRING YOUR PETS THERE FOR GROOMING AT YOUR OWN RISK! Our dogs have been sick for three days now, and in my opinion, it was from the extensive heat they experienced from their time over there. Again, in our opinion, it was ANIMAL ABUSE. They still have diarrhea and will not eat a thing. They appear depressed and mad at us for leaving them in such deplorable conditions for that day. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME WE ARE POSTING THIS REVIEW! THEY DELETED THE FIRST TIME!

Amazing! They saved my cats foot!Dr. Felz and her staff are amazing. She showed such great care and knowledge in saving my cats foot from being amputated due to a horrible infection after he was attacked outside. You can trust they will do everything possible to help you keep your pet healthy and safe! I can't thank her and the rest of the vet staff enough for all they have done to help us. Thank you so so much to Dr. Felz & Dr. Dias! Without their help he might not have made it and def would have lost his foot. After 2+ months of treatment he is now back to being a normal healthy cat. I recommend them to all my friends and family with pets. God bless and thank you!

I love, love, love, Dr. Felz and her staff. I have known and taken my four dachshunds to Dr. Felz for close to 15yrs. Three of my babies are at the Rainbow Bridge now, but I still have my 15yr old Sadie that Dr. Felz still cares for.
Dr. Felz has always shown knowledge, professionalism, caring, and pride in her practice.
I highly recommend Dr Felz and her wonderful staff to anyone who is in need of veterinary services.

Was very disappointed in the groomer services. Prices were as high as a mobile grooming service or for a groomer coming to your home. My dog was there at 8:30am and was not done until almost 3pm! He came home parched and drank almost two full bowls of water! I was told he was offered water during his stay, but I am skeptical. I didn't get a comfortable feeling from the groomer or the office. Not returning.

I have been very pleased with Ibis Animal Hospital so much that I've switched my two dogs to there from Midcounty Vet (it's also closer to my house). My only complaint (and thus four stars) is their cost--it does seem their prices are higher than most vets and they do not usually offer the most economical solution first. For example, re-checks are always a cost (even if they're 5 minutes). I was also once advised to get a very expensive service done on my dog's ears (flush) at a specialist when I asked what would happen if I didn't get it done and just watched it to ensure another infection didn't reoccur. They said that would be a reasonable course also and sure enough, he never needed that expensive ear flush.However, overall, I do think my dogs get good care there and I'm just diligent about trying to be sure I'm not overspending on anything. I've never had problems with last minute appointments, which is nice as well.

I have read the previous writer's review and could not disagree more with their review. Dr. Fetz has been my dog's vet for several years since I moved to Florida. She is caring, sensitive, and knowledgable. She has been right on the money in diagnosing my dog's illnesses. When she felt a specialist was needed, she was first to suggest that I see one, giving me the names of several doctors which allowed me to interview each before selecting whom I wanted. My 11 year old Border Terrier has had some serious health issues which Dr. Fetz has been able to keep under control. The number of times my dog needed surgery Dr. Fetz recommended a surgeon from whom I could seek a second opinion. Sorry to say but the previous writer has no idea about what she is talking. Would you take advice from a snowbird who has limited interaction with the doctor and based on one visit make a determination that the doctor is not qualified. Thank god I have Dr. Fetz as she is more than competent. She is excellent.

I highly recommend Ibis Animal Hospital, Dr. Lillian Felz and staff. My dogs always go in wagging their tails rather than shaking in the waiting area as has been the case at other veterinary clinics. I have experienced end of life care for one of my dogs and Dr. Felz was most compassionate, even coming to the house so as not to traumatize our beloved pet. I feel that the previous review was unfair as the reviewer is not a regular patient and from what I gathered, the treatment given seemed to be in the best interest of the animal. USE ANOTHER VET:Let me start by saying this place came highly recommended to us as it is closely located to where my parents reside and we were visiting family for the Xmas holidays. We met with Dr Lillian Felz. We were walk-in patients (be forewarned, we waited for 1 1/2 hours) and explained our dog, Chester had developed what looked like a blood blister on the top part of the anus area. Dr Felz examined Chester and came back saying he should be on an antibiotic ( Simpliced) to see if it decreases in size and if not it will need to be surgically removed. We asked the pricing for the surgery to see if it was more cost advantageous for us to do it there, rather than in NY but it was not so we said thanks, paid $75 and left. Upon our return to NY the blood blister did not grow, the antibiotic did not seem to change anything and then went to our regular vet who in 10 seconds of seeing the blister called it a CYST, popped it and it was gone!!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you consider using a different vet as Dr Felz would have performed surgery, put my dog under anesthesia and charged me ~ $600--700 unnecessarily.SORRY TO SAY BUT THIS DR IS NOT QUALIFIED. I mean come on, how many animals must they have seen over their years of practice to know this was a cyst, try to aspirate it first rather than badly misdiagnosing a dog. She wanted previous vet reports but that is also irrelevant further highlighting her lack of qualifications. Thank god we have a competent vet in NY. DON"T SAY YOU HAVEN"T BEEN FOREWARNED
