Little wait only 1 doctor at the time I went but she was very professional. Went back for a check up because they said my dog would need xrays. No big deal. Bring my dog back, drop her off to get x ray about 20 minutes later I get a call asking me what leg is the one there supposed to be taking xray on?? After all that is done they recommend surgery. Ok, no big deal. Get a call a few days later saying that they deleted the xray and would like for me to come back and redo them. So I'd have to put my dog under again cause there to irresponsible to upload a picture on a computer or look at a chart. Read Less

I hate this place. First time I went I waited 20 minutes past my appointment time. Second time I went I had an appointment again and they took every walk in before me, I waited 45 minutes before I was told the doctor had gone into surgery and wouldn't be able to see us. ONLY AFTER I had to ask what was going on since I had waited there patiently for so long with no answers or customer service at all. Third time I go back I went first thing in the morning as a walk in to get their nails trimmed and was told they don't do nail trimmings unless it's also to see the vet for something else. But, funny, the vet doesn't even do the nail trimming. One of the vet techs does. And the vet doesn't even get in for an hour and a half after they open. Why would they be called 'hospital' if the only person certified to actually help your animals isn't there when they open. Read Less

They are very nice but not competent. After taking an x-ray of my dog, I was told that my dog had an enlarged heart. But after sending the x-ray to a specialist, they told me that there is nothing wrong with her. My dog is still moaning non-stop and is still having several episodes of raced-breathing. She is still suffering. And so, after spending one month and $500 on them, they still cant tell me what is wrong with her. Read Less

I drove a good distance to have my Bully's ears cropped. I went with the laser cut because I read it was a cleaner less painful procedure. They were professional and the doctor explained every step of the process and calmed all my fears. His operation was a success. I will post more pics after the healing and post process. Read Less

I went there for ear cropping. I always waited over a hour for each visit. he did not give me antibiotics for freshly lasered ears that built bacteria .Even though i went to each time my dogs ears never stood correctly and i dont even think the doctor was doing it because we would tell the people who take the dogs whats happening and they dont do anything about it. they also told us our dog was done even though in front of their faces his ears were not standing correctly. in fact they even blamed me. i should of saved my money, hours of wasted time and his ears from this vet. Best vet, great, friendly, animal loving staff! I have 2 pitbulls and every where I go, they are so prejudice against the breed. Telling me to make sure they are muzzled before coming inside. I cannot express my gratitude enough to the staff for the compassion and kindness they have shown to our dog, Lola. After being misdiagnosed at Paws 2 Help, Lola was diagnosed quickly with cancer. She will not be with us much longer, as we have chosen not to put her through chemo at her old age. But every time we came in we were treated like friends and are so grateful for everything. This Vet could care less about adopted dogs. Once the dog goes to a new owner and a new vet, their customer service or care completely bottoms out. The previous owner fell into drugs and was living with the dog in a car. The dog had severe mats and skin issues. Dog Taio and new owner have been trying to just get his paperwork sent over to the new vet so they can see what his shots and health issues have been thus far. Its been 2 months and repeated requests from the new owner and the new vet and still no paperwork. They are trying to put the dog thru as little drama as possible and Mid County employees and vet are horrible for what they are doing by refusing to send this poor dogs paperwork over so he can be treated properly. rescued a poodle mix from a young lady that sadly fell into drugs she told us the dog had gone to mid county vet and needed to updated on some of his medication. When i contacted the vet for the dogs history, they where not willing to help me at all. even till this day, ive been asking for the pups medical history to be sent to me, even petsmart has asked for the medical history to be faxed to them, and we still have not recieved anything... the previous owner is not picking up her phone and not giving me any help in order to help this dog i explained that to this office, and i feel they could care less Read Less

I called these guys twice trying to explain what was wrong with my dog. Both times I spoke to a male who cut me off in the middle of what I was trying to tell him, telling me he had another call coming in. He would place me on hold and hung up on me both times I called. I know you can't give a diagnosis over the phone but all I wanted to know is if the symptoms were worthy enough to bring my pet in to get checked. I do not recommend these guys at all. Read Less

I am very happy to say that Dr. Jay and his daughter Cynthia are outstanding professionals dedicated to taking care of your pets. Their offices aren't fancy in fact it's pretty bare-bones but it's clean neat and efficiently run. Unlike other vet offices that look like a mini Kmart the only thing Dr. Jay sells are  fairly priced creams and medical supplements. They are so ethical that when I came from another vet who recommended all types of surgeries and procedures on my 2 chihuahuas, I wa sat down and carefully explained to why none of that was necessary. Two years later my pets are in perfect health. as a doctor I really appreciate the personalized care of the staff extends to my Caramel and Fudge who always seem disappointed when I pick them up to take  them home after boarding with Dr. Jay and Dr .Cynthia for a week.I can't recommend this place enough and I've turned all my patients on to it . I've have taken my dog to this vet for her entire life. The staff is very kind. Dr. Jeya Paul is one of the only men my dog is comfortable around. The prices are very reasonable, they care more about the animals than ripping you off for a huge profit. My bulldog, Katy, had a cherry eye and every place I called wanted to charge a thousand and up to take care of it. Dr. Jeya charged a couple hundred for the same procedure. His daughter is a very nice Vet there as well. I highly recommend Mid County! We moved to Davie, we drive an hour to see this vet still! Read Less

My first impression upon walking in was not great.  The waiting room is small and smells like urine.  I get that it's an animal hospital and animals have the tendency to pee on the floor but nothing a good cleaning shouldn't remedy.  If I'm going to trust you with my pet, I want the tools and surroundings to be clean.  Also, there was an incident with a large dog running into the waiting room from the back unleashed.  This was the owners fault for not having common sense.Once I was seen by the Dr. I found him to be knowledgable and professional.  The location is convenient so I would use this Vet again. WHAT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! WHERE DO I BEGIN??? DR. JEYAPAUL DID AN EAR CROPPING JOB ON MY DOG ABOUT A YEAR AND A HALF AGO. HE SHOWED ME PICTURES IN A BOOK WHICH I STILL HAVE COPIES OF DIFFERENT DOGS HE SUPPOSEDLY PERFORMED THE EAR CROPPING ON. I SELECTED A FEW PHOTOS I LIKED TO REPLICATE. WHEN I CAME TO PICK UP MY DOG I KNEW SOMETHING WAS HORRIBLY WRONG FOR HIS EARS WERE EXTREMELY UNEVEN. I HAD MENTIONED IT TO HIM AT HIS FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT BUT DIDNT REALIZE JUST HOW BAD THE CROPPING WAS UNTIL HE TOOK OF THE BANDAGES TO RETAPE HIS EARS. I WANTED TO CRY MY POOR DOGS EARS WERE JUST SIMPLY BUTCHERED. TO THE POINT AFTER ALMOSYT TWO YEARS PEOPLE STILL ASK ME WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR DOGS EARS AS IF HE WAS IN A HORRIFIC ACCIDENT. I KNEW WHEN HE TOOK THE BANDAGES OFF I HAD TO FINISH THE CARE OF HIS EARS AND ALSO COME BACK FOR ABOUT 6 TAPINGS IN WHICH HE HAD TO RETAPE THE EARS BECAUSE ONE WAS FLOPPING DOWN BECAUSE IT WAS ALMOST A BATTLE CROP ON ONE SIDE AND A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CUT ON THE OTHER SIDE. AFTER HE REMOVED THE STITCHES I SAW THEY WERE JUST EMBEDDED IN HIS EARS. IF I HAD READ SOMEONE ELSES REVIEW I WOULD HAVE NEVER EVER SUBJECTED MY POOR BEAUTIFUL DOGO ARGENTINO PUPPY TO THIS ATROSITY. BOTH HIM AND HIS STAFF ACTED LIKE THEY DO THEM ALL THE TIME. THE KILLER WAS AFTER THE HORRIBLE JOB, THE UNEVEN EARS, THE STITCH MARKS THAT SCARED AND THE HORRIBLE NEED FOR RECONSTRUCTION I ASKED DR JEYAPAUL FOR MY MONEY BACK SO I COULD TAKE HIM SOMEWHERE ELSE TO SPEND TRIPLE THE AMOUNT OF MONEY TO GET THEM FIXED. HE DECLINED SAYING IT HAD TO RUN THROUGH HIS INSURANCE. I WAITED AND WAITED AND WAITED. HE STILL TO THIS DAY HAS NEVER CONTACTED ME AND CONTINUES TO DODGE MY CALLS, ALONG WITH HIS OFFICE STAFF. MY REQUEST WAS MINIMAL TO SEND ME A REFUND, OF WHICH HE DID NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, AND IT IS SO NOTICEABLE ITS JUST SICKNING. PLEASE TAKE YOUR CROP JOB TO SOMEONE ELSE BECAUSE ANYBODY CAN DO A BETTER JOB THAN HIM, AND WHO KNOWS MAY HAVE MORE CHARACTER TO CALL YOU BACK AND TRY TO HELP IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY, AND ITS OBVIOUS TO THE EVERYONE WHO LOOKS AT THE DOG THAT THERE WAS SOMETHING THAT WENT HORRIBLY WRONG ON THAT DAY. He has been my vet for more than six years since we first moved to the area and we have had nothing but positive experiences. In fact, we now drive from Palm Beach Gardens to visit him (we know people who travel to him from Miami) and his daughter who is also now a vet in the office as well. He is truly a caring professional who has seen us through a number of difficulties over the years and he comes with my highest recommendation. I recently moved to Florida and was in need of a good veterinarian. I went online and found a local vet at Midcounty Veterinary. From the moment I walked in the receptionist was very unprofessional and sloppy. Then I finally got to see the vet Dr. Jeyapaul. He walked in barely said hello and was also very sloppy wearing a multiple stained dr's jacket. Not only was I grossed out but freaked out. If it hadn't been an emergency visit I would have high tailed it out of there. My dog had several little lumps on her body and I had no idea what it could be. He looked at her bumps (mind you he didn't even bother to look her over apart from the strange bumps) He barely touched her (with his incredibly long disgusting finger nails full of gunk. He said he would need to run a biopsy on her lumps. We said ok then just stood there for about 5 minutes and I had to tell him to do the test on her lump. Finally he opens the door and yells to his receptionist to get him some supplies. Even though the receptionist wasn't the kindest of people I still felt bad for her because you could tell that she frequently had to deal with this doctors terrible bedside manner. Thank goodness that we received a call a few days later telling us that her lumps were only fat deposits.  The only reason I could give this Dr. Jeyapaul a star is because he did call when he said he would. Apart from that if you are looking for a rude, sloppy stained, unprofessional vet he's your guy. STAY AWAY! I had generally great experiences with vets before I moved! I'm still on the lookout for a good vet :( Read Less
