If you care for your pet - I would think twice about choosing this Vet. This is a long one - but important so no one else has the same experience we did. To start, our little doggie has had issues with bladder stones for the past six years - he's had surgery twice {now three times} before to remove stones and has been on a strict prescription diet since the first stone was discovered and analyzed - so, we have experience with what he should have looked like after and what the follow-up should have been. Once we knew he needed the surgery again, I spoke with them and asked the cost of the procedure, how long it would take and if he would need to stay overnight. All good, she gave me the details I wrote it all down then called my hubby to discuss. We decided to move forward, so I called her back and scheduled the surgery. On surgery day, my husband loaded up our little guy {he's a super anxious pup and hates car rides} into the car and drove 30 minutes to the vet. Only to be told the Dr. is not in and we would need to reschedule. Okay - we understand things happen, but why didn't someone call us to reschedule? When asked, we were told that the person who scheduled the appointment didn't write down what it was for so they didn't know we would need the Dr. otherwise they would have called. My husband tells me the name of the women he spoke with and it was the same woman I spoke with to schedule the appointment...We reschedule for the next day - he has to stay overnight, standard. We go back to pick him up and as we wait take care of our bill. When she told us the total we were SHOCKED - it was $450+ more than the highest amount on the range she gave us. So I questioned her - she said "no, no I never told you that amount, just the Dr. is more than that, I even wrote down our conversation, it's here somewhere" {as she digs through the trash to look for her notes from 4 days prior}. She starts to talk and talk about our conversation, none of what she was saying was even close to the truth. She flat out lied on the phone and to our faces. We paid, because we wanted our dog back and I asked to speak with the Dr. He came out and I explained to him what happened. He says "I don't know anything of what she told you" and just shrugs his shoulders. THAT'S IT. So we get our little guy and go home. Once we get home I take a look at his incision {remember this is his third, so we are aware of what it should look like} I immediately started crying. His tummy is all black and blue, he had multiple cuts on his hind legs, the incision and stitches are messy and he is all swollen and red. Very clearly infected - upon returning from the vet. We ended up taking him to a different vet, getting new medications for infection, inflammation and pain. Not once did the office that did the surgery call and check-up on him. However, the new vet we went to, to clean up the others mess - called multiple times. We, obviously will never return to this vet. They are lacking integrity and are completely dishonest. Read Less
