My pup's ears are cropped by Dr Arun but they are uneven! After the bandages were off, I noticed my pup's ears were uneven and the right ear was flooping over! Dr. Arun told me to come in for re-wrapping AGAIN after already missing so much work from my pup taking off his wrapping! I was not prepared to travel down an hour about 4 to 5 times for re-wrapping. After the surgery, a nurse told me that there was no way the wrapping was coming off... well within days it was off and NOW Dr.Arun wants to tell me AFTER the fact that he is a puppy and its normal for pups to take off wrapping.. well he contradicted himself tho because, after my pup took off his wrapping, I called after hours and a agent got me thru to Dr. Arun...he told me over the phone that night before I had to bring him back in for the 1st time that he had never had issues where the pup took off wrapping after ear cropping! He told me about his customers the stay further than me had never experienced this but i knew he was lying because a customer that was at the office sane day as me said that he was down at Dr.Arun like everyday getting re-wrapping for his pups ears! I just feel like after being charged over 600 dollars you would think he would include x-amount of re-wrapings in that price because pups can take off the wrapping! He charged me for every re-wrapping except for like 2 but that's because I put up a lil fuss ! I'm a hair braider and I would never charge my customers a fee because their hair slipped out within 2 weeks! I would do it, on the house...not tell them I have to charge you because I have to keep my business running(as he told me) Dr.Arun is greedy and takes advantage of those especially less knowledgeable of dogs! Other than all that Front desk ladies were great and I re-wrapped my pups ears myself... Thank God for YouTube! And Dr.Arun, my pups ears do NOT measure the same and it was very rude of you not to answer my last email to you! A true doctor does not pass you along to there nurse or front desk lady(Barbara)... they answer all questions not avoid them when you ask them about prices! And im not even gonna talk about how he lovesssss to sell sell sell ya and Dr.arun was quick to throw petco under the bus as if Petco gave my pup the wrong shots or something! He wanted me to started taking my pup to him for his overpriced vaccines! Today was my second time here... first was for a bath and this time for a full grooming... the staff there really tried to understand my wants and needs for my sweet Lilly who is quite a handful when it comes to grooming. Elizabeth did her grooming today.. was very patient and Lilly came back exceptional. The price is very fair for what you're having done. From the first day I called and spoke to Jackie about getting a bath for my Boston terrier and to learn about boarding, she was a sweetheart and told me to come in the same day. I got to meet her and also Barbara and they made me and Emmy feel really welcomed. They let us tour the boarding and before the bath Dr. Arun spoke with me about my Emmy's teeth he noticed. I met the doctor right away, the ladies at the desk were fantastic and made me feel even more comfortable even Lilly my Yorkie didn't realize she was at the vet. Most vets you wait for hours, pay a ton of money and only see the doctor for 5 mins. Dr. I.Arun spend time with me before and after the procedure. Explained the xrays, what he did and why he did it, and what I should do. I feel the money I spent was well worth it and usually I walk out of the vet feeling robbed. I found Dr. Arun and this Animal Hospital while searching for somewhere not too far away to get my Doberman puppy's ears cropped. If you know anything about this, it can be very stressful and it is important to get it done right as you only have one shot. I hadn't planned on taking Ruby there for her general veterinarian needs, but I was so impressed by the wealth of knowledge that Dr. Arun had to share, as well as the friendly, professional conduct of the entire staff - I knew that this would be a better decision for Ruby. I also had interactions with  the other doctor, Dr. Jonusas, and found another entirely competent (understatement for both of these gentlemen, but necessary to state having had many vet's for many animals in my life) and passionate doctor! I ended up signing up for one of their wellness plans, and feel that not only was it money well spent, but a less expensive option as it has so much included (especially for a puppy). Don't get me wrong - puppy care is never cheap, but in this case I would say you actually get even more than what you pay for. It has now been a little over two months, Ruby is all set on her vaccinations, her ears are done and came out BEAUTIFULLY, and we feel that she is on the best health plan available to her. She LOVES going to the vet, too! So do I, because every time I go I leave knowing that I'm doing everything I can to help my dog have as long, happy and as healthy of a life as possible.Whenever we visit everyone remembers Ruby AND us, and we feel comfortable that she is in good hands every time. The dental work was professionally done and gives the the best painfree results. My cat had to have multiple teeth pulled. After the surgery he was back to eating and pain free. This is by far the worst place to take your dog. This guy calls himself a vet, but yet I have more knowledge about breeding than Arun. He tells me that if I don't let him do surgery on my dog, she will never have puppies. Well 61days later, she had 7 healthy pups. Then he wanted me to pay all the outrageous fees that it would cost 4 mortgage payments to pay off. Thorough and knowledgeable and caring! I also had my dog groomed there, an outstanding job! Dr Arun takes his time and answers questions; his assistant handles the dog with confidence and care. With that said, I also find they over-react and are expensive. My husband got a serious lecture for boarding our dog at a doggie daycare. Yes, we thought our puppy was ill with a cold from the daycare, perhaps kennel cough, in spite of the vaccinations. Summit wanted to test for pancreatitis and a host of things starting at $600. We agreed to $300 worth of services. We later learned there was nothing wrong our puppy. The pancreatitis was a red flag for me. She's young. Unnecessary tests are well not needed. We love Dr. Arun My baby boy Romeo was born with a skin condition and was in severe pain itching hair loss and after taking him to summit Blvd animal hospital, Dr. Arun ran test after test and tried everything he could never gave up on Romeo and was able to diagnose him and find the right medication to cure him. Dr. Arun is extremely rude and pushy, insisted my dog has stenotic nares and elongated palate, first you can not diagnose elongated palate unless a dog is put under anesthesia, after discussing my concerns with him he told me that my dog should of had this surgery done when he was 16 weeks old and shame on my normal veterinarian for not having the surgery done, well i hate to tell you Dr. Arun, my normal vet was the one at Petlife, Dr.Jonusas, the russian guy that now WORKS AT YOUR OFFICE, he administered all of my dogs shots as a puppy, and NEVER ONCE mentioned this surgery, neither has his current Vet Justin Bartlett or our Repo vet Quality Animal Care , so obviously your employees are incompetent, you said it yourself, your a money hungry joke, your not a Brachycephalic breed specialist and neither of any of your employees, this vet is overpriced and lack basic knowledge. All this place cares for is money, the second i said i had pet insurance everything was wrong with my dog and he suddenly needs a $1400 surgery, when he has been tons of other vets and none of them had even suggested it, if you bring your dog here and they diagnosed them with something i would certainly get a second opinion. In looking for a new vet this past week, I found it ALL at Summit Animal Hospital. I have been blown away by the wonderful treatment, friendly & very sweet staff, and Dr. Jonusas' compassion in treating my kitty. They made such a difference in my experience with vets, it was a no brainer to stick with them. They (all staff) go out of their way to make you feel at home, and like your pet matters. Dr Arun quickly took time out of his day to call me back and had me bring her back in the next morning. He redid the sutures and only charged for sedation. He is kind and very compassionate, confident and talented. Everyone from the receptionists to the vet techs to the veterinarian were absolutely amazing. My dog recently injured his front leg. The staff accommodated seeing my pet as soon as I could get him into the office as he was not using his leg. We have two doberman puppies and when we got them, one of them had an injured tail as a result of her mother biting the stitches out from when the breeder cropped their trails.  We found Dr. Arun because we wanted to have her ears cropped and came to him all the way from Miami because he specializes in laser surgery, which is much more accurate, less pain for the puppies,  less blood and has a much faster healing time. I researched him and Dr. Arun has an impressive background including time as an instructor at Cornell University.  He also regularly attends industry conferences and ongoing education to stay current with veterinary medical advances.  Dr. Arun spent alot of time with us coaching us and walking us through everything he was doing and why.  He is extremely thorough and did blood work as well as a full exam before agreeing to do surgery.  Our puppy ended up having a low red blood cell count so he gave us Iron supplements and said our pup was not ready for surgery.  We followed his instructions carefully and when we brought our pup back for surgery, she was much better.   I email and call Dr. Aun all the time and although he is very busy with patients, he gets back to me.   He is soooo passionate about animals,  which he calls his "patients".  I have been to other vets here in Miami with my pups as well as with my sister's chihuahua, and I've never met a vet as thorough or as knowledgeable as Dr. Arun.  He feels very strongly, passionate about what he does,  his expertise and his patients, so I can see how some people may take that the wrong way,  but he is truly an awesome doctor.  I would never let any other doctor operate on or administer care to my pups.  I recommend him 100%, just be open to his personality.... he's not going to tell you what you want to hear, he's going to tell you what is best for your pet.  He cares about the animals first. He tried charging me $450 because my dog had diarrhea! when i refused the tests he told me that my dog was going to die and kept pressing me to pay. We had been looking for a vet closer to our house and thought we would try this one.Vet spent all his time trying to sell many treatments and medications.  We quickly realized that he was making us feel guilty for not wanting to purchase his laundry list of items. Upon declining his treatment he started yelling that I was mistreating the dog.  I asked to have bill sent to me and went to directly to my regular vet.  Summit Animal called the police for nonpayment of services as well as Animal Control that I was mistreating my dog and that dog was suffering.  We were accompanied by police to return and pay vet bill at which point we were told we would be sued if we put a negative comment on line.  Animal control has since apologized and the dog is doing great.
