A colleague and myself took a rescued, severely injured cat, who was neutered and vaccinated couple of years before his injury, to our well respected Dr Williams, Unfortunately Williams was off that day, Dr Summer Walker was there and she agreed to see the injured cat. The cat was taken to the back and we waited in the exam room for a LONG time, to be surprised by the return of Dr Walker with an animal services officer; Dr Walker informed us that the cat bit the technician and since we don’t have the proof of the cat rabies vaccine, Dr Walker wants the cat head cut to test the cat for rabies by animal services. Animal services officer was very professional and explained that we have the option to quarantine the cat in our home or in another vet clinic but Dr Walker refused to even discuss that option. She insisted on killing the cat although we were informed the technician will take the rabies shot the very next day regardless. My colleague a PhD holder in biology explained tobDr Walker that the cat can’t be rabbit, that the cat was drinking water before bringing him to the clinic, we offered to transfer the cat to a cat hospital in town in vain. Dr Summer Walker refused to discuss any other alternative than killing the cat. Braveheart was taken by animal services as Dr Walker wished, he was killed and proved he was not rabbit. Dr. Williams and his staff have taken care of our dogs since 2006 when we relocated to the area. Absolutely love the care & attention given to them in their care. I have been with STAH since I moved to the area 6 years ago. They take excellent care of my 17 and 2 year old kitties. Dr. Williams and Dr. Walker never make me feel rushed or pressured to take a certain treatment. They take their time to clearly explain all of the treatment options and let me make an educated decision about the care of my cats. My lost dog was hit by a car on dec 26 after dark. The car that was behind the car that hit him picked him up and lovingly brought him to these wonderful people. I'm sure it was either closed or closing He is 15+ years old -blind and deaf. Our family and neighbors were outside combing the area for him . My cell phone rang. Couldn't believe my ears. They said we think we have Buddy . They saved my dogs life and can't be blessed enough to have such a wonderful Doctors and staff here at Seminole county animal hospital. Dr. Williams and his staff are the best.  They took great care of our cat's medical needs for several years and sent us a wonderful sympathy card with a heartfelt message from each staff member after he died.  They really care!  We always knew that Pony was safe and content when he boarded at Seminole Trail Animal Hospital.  They loved him and showered him with attention, and Pony loved them back. He truly enjoyed spending time with his devoted caretakers at the hospital. I should have said it many times before, but my vet, Dr. Paul Williams at Seminole Trail Animal Hospital, and all of his staff are awesome!!! It is not only his knowledge that makes him a great vet, but his compassion for his patients and their parents. You cannot fake that kind of caring and empathy. I've known quite a few veterinarians and Dr. Williams is hands down my favorite! It's for these reasons that he has been my vet for 15 years. Dr. Williams, Tracy and the rest of the Seminole Trail staff have more or less been members of our family for 13 years now. Our many, many pets have included a litter of abandoned feral kittens to a Chihuahua with a very bad attitude and they've been all been treated with love and respect. We found Dr. Williams about 8 years ago when we took in a stray.  He was volunteering his time to spay/neuter stray cats for a local organization.  When we needed a vet shortly there after we went back to him.  He's laid back, honest, and caring.  He could order unnecessary tests and prescribe medications to make money, but his approach always starts conservative and goes from there.  He'll manually chip off tartar from my cat's mouth in an effort to delay putting her under for a dental cleaning, a procedure that would have an average vet seeing dollar signs.  And when we see him for a sickness he always calls a few days later to see how the pet is doing. Can't say enough how much we love this vet!  We moved downtown and changed to a vet closer to our new house only to come back.  Dr. Williams and his staff go above and beyond to help us care for our animals.  We had to have a dog but down and this office could not have been more supportive.  The cost of services is even much less here than the other vet we used.
