When our pet kitty of 20 years suddenly got sick, Dr. Carter and her staff got us in on the same day we called and after an exam, confirmed what we had suspected....our little family member was very sick.Our decision was to put her down and end her suffering.Everyone was understanding and supportive.When we decide to get another pet, we'll most likely use this Vet.ONLY complaint....need a bigger parking lot!

I've been going to Dr Kim for 12 years. Her and her staff have always been exceptional. Today was no different. I took my pup Elphie in for her regular checkup. Greeted by Sam who always has a smile and very polite and friendly. Amanda was great with Elphie except Elphie growled at her which was completely the owners fault(me). We are so sorry and will work on that. Then comes Dr Kim who is exceptional. I think if Dr Kim had a broken leg she would still come in with her happy professional self! The love she has for her pts. You can see all over her face. I would never consider going anywhere else. The prices are extremely reasonable! Thanku guys once again for taking care of my 2 pups.

The lack of competent car provided by this clinic obviousl I agree !! This is a loss .. 20 years plus of a " friendship" .. I only had to bail her failing practice out once for $1000 ... ( which she NEVER paid back.. to this day ) As for her failure as a concerned Vet ... last year she gave my Dogs( 4 !! )All Cat vaccines ... she did not catch the mistake til she ran out of shots !! Didn't catch the mistake at all !!! Next ..Failed to do a full dental .. due to incompetence on sedation ... she wasn't prepared to sedate for what he needed , her admission And. Failure to follow her own pre operative protocol . Obviously ... animal care is not on this Doctors mind .... she is trying to increase the bottomLine of this business so she can sell it ... $$too bad all the long term clients who loved the way the clinic was and the animals ... have to pay the price now for her exit $$ strategy!! y shows the provider is overwhelmed buy her greed over the care of the animals ..

Less than thrilled with my experience at this clinic. I adopted a puppy at the Fernandina Humane Society and started coming to this vet because the Humane Society offered a complimentary visit here with my adoption package. My first visit was wonderful! I saw a male vet and he was very thorough and kind. Then it was pretty much all downhill from there. We've been in for 4 visits total and have seen 3 different vets. Since my second visit, I've gotten negative comments about my dog's behavior. It appears to be an attempt to sell their training classes. However, my dog is very well-trained and well-behaved, in fact. He just so happens to still be a puppy and get excited when we're in a new place with new people and lots of interesting smells-- go figure! A good relationship with my local vet clinic is exactly what I'm looking for and, as a result of my experience, I won't be finding that here.

Over the weekend our four paw baby got lose and was in an very unfortunate hit and run. We rushed him to a pet er in Brunswick (which was very rude but they kept our baby alive and that's what really matters!) our regular vet wasn't open and basically wished us luck so as we searched we contacted Nassau who were so amazing, they not only watched our baby boy with tons of updates but explained everything. Dr Carter, thank you so much for making such a hard situation something we can get through and our baby. We will now be bringing our pets here! I totally recommend this place

Just moved to the area and rescued a black lab from a local and respected shelter, The London Sanctuary. After picking up our new puppy we got the recommendation to go to this clinic. I amvery happy that this is our vet for our pets. The staff are knowledgable, friendly, honest and answered all of my questions. They gave me plenty of options and advise and the reasoning behind it. I feel like my pets will benefit from their expertise and care.

Dr. Carter and Dr.Oswald and the staff are just great. We moved to the area 3 years ago and Dr. Carter was recommended to us by a friend. Since then, Dr. Carter and Dr. Oswald have seen us through the loss of our two geriatric dogs and have been there every step of the way as we treated for heartworms in the dog we recently acquired from the county shelter. It is clearly more than just a business for Dr. Carter - and the compassion and loving care are evident in every member of the staff. But having said that, I have also found them to be very pragmatic in their approach and understanding - within reason - of budget and financial considerations. I would highly recommend this veterinary practice to anyone seeking true compassion in the care for their beloved pets.

Only problem is because it is a small facility in a small town there isn't anyone on call usually. An emergency on the weekend or a holiday usually requires a trip to Jax to an unfamiliar vet at the animal ER. other than that totally satisfied

If you ever need the service, I can't recommend high enough, Dr Kim Carter and staff. They handled his final moments with kindness and compassion. There were so many little details that made this so less stressful. When my time comes, I can only hope to have half the care that this office gives!

I want to take a minute to thank the AWESOME staff at Nassau Veterinary Hospital. Thank you Sarah, Dr. PARKS AND THE OTHER TECH ( I'm sorry I didn't get your name)for taking wonderful care of Kujo this morning. Thank you for your compassion and kindness to me during a very sad time. YOU LADIES ROCK!!!!! If you are looking for a vet it doesn't get any better than this office. Your not an account number here. You are a person with feelings with a pet that has feelings as well. You will never be treated with more respect anywhere else. Your pets will always be loved, spoiled and well cared for in this office. Just ask Jazzi, Bella and Max! :)

Less than thrilled with my experience at this clinic. I adopted a puppy at the Fernandina Humane Society and started coming to this vet because the Humane Society offered a complimentary visit here with my adoption package. My first visit was wonderful! I saw a male vet and he was very thorough and kind. Then it was pretty much all downhill from there. We've been in for 4 visits total and have seen 3 different vets. Since my second visit, I've gotten negative comments about my dog's behavior. It appears to be an attempt to sell their training classes. However, my dog is very well-trained and well-behaved, in fact. He just so happens to still be a puppy and get excited when we're in a new place with new people and lots of interesting smells-- go figure! A good relationship with my local vet clinic is exactly what I'm looking for and, as a result of my experience, I won't be finding that here.

Over the weekend our four paw baby got lose and was in an very unfortunate hit and run. We rushed him to a pet er in Brunswick (which was very rude but they kept our baby alive and that's what really matters!) our regular vet wasn't open and basically wished us luck so as we searched we contacted Nassau who were so amazing, they not only watched our baby boy with tons of updates but explained everything. Dr Carter, thank you so much for making such a hard situation something we can get through and our baby. We will now be bringing our pets here! I totally recommend this place

Just moved to the area and rescued a black lab from a local and respected shelter, The London Sanctuary. After picking up our new puppy we got the recommendation to go to this clinic. I amvery happy that this is our vet for our pets. The staff are knowledgable, friendly, honest and answered all of my questions. They gave me plenty of options and advise and the reasoning behind it. I feel like my pets will benefit from their expertise and care.

Dr. Carter and Dr.Oswald and the staff are just great. We moved to the area 3 years ago and Dr. Carter was recommended to us by a friend. Since then, Dr. Carter and Dr. Oswald have seen us through the loss of our two geriatric dogs and have been there every step of the way as we treated for heartworms in the dog we recently acquired from the county shelter. It is clearly more than just a business for Dr. Carter - and the compassion and loving care are evident in every member of the staff. But having said that, I have also found them to be very pragmatic in their approach and understanding - within reason - of budget and financial considerations. I would highly recommend this veterinary practice to anyone seeking true compassion in the care for their beloved pets.

Only problem is because it is a small facility in a small town there isn't anyone on call usually. An emergency on the weekend or a holiday usually requires a trip to Jax to an unfamiliar vet at the animal ER. other than that totally satisfied
