I took my new Yorke Ozzie there for his first visit after I bought him and found the staff to be pleasant and knowledge and went out of their way to treat my fur baby extra special ...He received his second set of needles and was microchipped .I returned for his second appointment where he had his rabies shot before joining me in Canada ..When we return to Florida I will definitely be taking him in again and the prices are affordable

I just moved to Zephyrhills a couple of months ago and needed a new doctor for my fur baby. Adkins 301 was a godsend for me. I am on a fixed income so they fact that their prices are SO reasonable gives me peace of mind that my sweet dog will always be taken care of without sending me to the poor house. I never walked out of our previous vet's office under $100 because no matter what he was doing he ALWAYS charged an office fee. Adkins DOES NOT DO THAT! I took my dog Thursday to have her nails clipped and then while I was there we decided to give her an allergy shot and I walked out only paying $17 because NO OFFICE FEE! The staff are very kind, caring and efficient! Thank You Doctor Adkins .... Jersey and I are very happy to be new members of the Adkins Veterinary family!

Hello All. My husband and my self went to this vet almost a month ago, we was welcomed from the time we walked in the door. We was seen very quickly,we were giving so much information on our dog, on flea and tick precautions,and all the necessary things that involved our pets at home.Our experience was more then great, we have decided to bring our other dog which went to Banfield to this vet clinic. Thank you Jennifer, Chrystal, Brenda, for making a new and difficult decision worth it.if i left anyone out i apologize and will mention after our next appointment 5/25/2018.

They have even helped scan strays I find for a micro chip and give good suggestions about how to find the owners. Second, they don’t price gouge. Yes, the building looks older but it’s clean and friendly, don’t judge a book by its cover! Overall, great service!

When I first brought my very sick, very crazy cat in, I was less than pleasant to deal with. Even then, they still took care of me and Penny so well. The environment is pleasant and the doctors are wonderful and explain everything thoroughly. I also absolutely love the techs (Especially Amber) there. They know my cat by name and they're so good with her even though she's a naughty beast! Also, the prices are very reasonable. I'm really glad I found this place!

I was absolutely disgusted when I brought my dog here in July. The place is so dirty that I didn't even want my dog to lay down on the floor. I mean, clean the lobby at least! Pretty bad when I wouldn't even want my dog to touch the floor but we had just relocated to the area and needed a vet in a hurry. Never again. Not only did they entirely mis-diagnose my dogs hookworm, they prolonged the opportunity to treat her. But this is not the reason for this review. I figure if there are people for whatever reason come here, then let them. Not me. Especially now that they have botched a simple spay operation for my cousins dog and killed her. I am in awe. He loved his dog. You can see his review on here as well. This review is in the hopes that at least one person will read this and opt to find a different vet. Any vet. If you are that one person, you may have just saved your pets life by going elsewhere. Please do not make any mistake if you love your pets. They are completely incompetent here and it is apparent from the moment that you step into the building. Please take this review to heart when thinking about a vet. Thanks.

I have been taking my dog here since the day I got rescued her from the shelter. She was very sick and underweight, they reassured me that she was going to be fine and helped me nurse her back to health. Since then the techs and vets are always very polite and helpful when I call in a panic or just have a question (I am a very nervous dog Mom). When my dog was attacked at the dog park they stayed open a few minutes later so that the vet could look at my dog. It may not look like much from the outside but I have only had good experiences here.

I love a 301 pet hospital!! Yesterday, Krystal took care of my 15 year old Chihuahua, Chico. Besides doing an awesome job clipping his nails she also treats them like she knows they're one of your children! Thank you so much Krystal!! You did a great job and I left there feeling so good because my dog got top notch care! Also, many people are changing over from Planned Pethood to A301 because Planned Pethood will not let you go in the room with your four-legged loved one. That's absurd!! That's like not being able to go in the room with your child when they're at the pediatrician.

The service we received here for our dog was terrible and we would like our $140.00 back for blood work that was done on February 23, 2017 and we never got the results. We were promised the results the next day and we never heard back. We called twice after that and went in the office after one full month and one of the co-owner I spoke with on the phone at their front desk sees nothing wrong with this kind of service and refusing to refund us our money. He says "they rendered services" We found out the vet who performed the blood work is no longer working at this veterinary Hospital, no wonder we never got a call back. We had to take our dog to another vet to get blood work since he has been fainting. We plan to report your vetenary office to the American Veterinary Association and anyone else. This is not sitting well with us at all and we will not sit back and have people basically take our money and not provide the full service we expected and should receive. In our opinion you are stealing money from your customers and did not provide the care our dog needed. Shame on you!!!! Give us our money back!!!!!!

I went today to get my dog's nails trimmed, nothing else. They said it has gone up to 20.00. I still agreed because my little dog really needs a trim. I waited for an hour and asked if I was in line because 2 people that came in after me were called first. I was told because I didn't have an appt. It was a nail trim, I didn't need to see the vet. I asked if 2 other dogs after me would be called first also. They said no they would get me in next. Then they called the other dogs. So you want to overcharge me, treat me badly and lie to. I don't think so. I walked out and I won't go back

Adkins 301 Pet Hospital has provided very good care to my pets. I have a suggestion though - have one of the vets learn to spay and neuter without removing the ovaries/testes. Recent research is showing that dogs who maintian their ovaries and/or testes live longer (Rotties by about 5 years), are much less likely to get cancer, reduces the rate of obesity by 50%, reduces the rate of bone, joint, and hip problems greatly, and allows the endocrine system to function normally - so no diabetes, hypothryriodism, or cushings disease. I have been unable to locate a vet around this area that can do this and I suspect it will become in higher demand as more pet lovers discover the benefit.

Well with love and talking to her, she is getting better.. Her surgery was 12-10-2015 and today (12-14-2015) she is walking, jumping, going to the bathroom, just tired a lot. Thank God I didn't give up on her. The power of love and prayers.

Great and empathic vets for two main reasons. First, they treat my fur babies like their own and provide competent pet care. They have even helped scan strays I find for a micro chip and give good suggestions about how to find the owners. Second, they don’t price gouge. Yes, the building looks older but it’s clean and friendly, don’t judge a book by its cover! Overall, great service!

When I first brought my very sick, very crazy cat in, I was less than pleasant to deal with. Even then, they still took care of me and Penny so well. The environment is pleasant and the doctors are wonderful and explain everything thoroughly. I also absolutely love the techs (Especially Amber) there. They know my cat by name and they're so good with her even though she's a naughty beast! Also, the prices are very reasonable. I'm really glad I found this place!

I was absolutely disgusted when I brought my dog here in July. The place is so dirty that I didn't even want my dog to lay down on the floor. I mean, clean the lobby at least! Pretty bad when I wouldn't even want my dog to touch the floor but we had just relocated to the area and needed a vet in a hurry. Never again. Not only did they entirely mis-diagnose my dogs hookworm, they prolonged the opportunity to treat her. But this is not the reason for this review. I figure if there are people for whatever reason come here, then let them. Not me. Especially now that they have botched a simple spay operation for my cousins dog and killed her. I am in awe. He loved his dog. You can see his review on here as well. This review is in the hopes that at least one person will read this and opt to find a different vet. Any vet. If you are that one person, you may have just saved your pets life by going elsewhere. Please do not make any mistake if you love your pets. They are completely incompetent here and it is apparent from the moment that you step into the building. Please take this review to heart when thinking about a vet. Thanks.

I have been taking my dog here since the day I got rescued her from the shelter. She was very sick and underweight, they reassured me that she was going to be fine and helped me nurse her back to health. Since then the techs and vets are always very polite and helpful when I call in a panic or just have a question (I am a very nervous dog Mom). When my dog was attacked at the dog park they stayed open a few minutes later so that the vet could look at my dog. It may not look like much from the outside but I have only had good experiences here.

I love a 301 pet hospital!! Yesterday, Krystal took care of my 15 year old Chihuahua, Chico. Besides doing an awesome job clipping his nails she also treats them like she knows they're one of your children! Thank you so much Krystal!! You did a great job and I left there feeling so good because my dog got top notch care! Also, many people are changing over from Planned Pethood to A301 because Planned Pethood will not let you go in the room with your four-legged loved one. That's absurd!! That's like not being able to go in the room with your child when they're at the pediatrician.

We received excellent care at a very reasonable price for emergency surgery. Very friendly and caring staff, it really shows they care about the animals. Would recommend to everyone.

The service we received here for our dog was terrible and we would like our $140.00 back for blood work that was done on February 23, 2017 and we never got the results. We were promised the results the next day and we never heard back. We called twice after that and went in the office after one full month and one of the co-owner I spoke with on the phone at their front desk sees nothing wrong with this kind of service and refusing to refund us our money. He says "they rendered services" We found out the vet who performed the blood work is no longer working at this veterinary Hospital, no wonder we never got a call back. We had to take our dog to another vet to get blood work since he has been fainting. We plan to report your vetenary office to the American Veterinary Association and anyone else. This is not sitting well with us at all and we will not sit back and have people basically take our money and not provide the full service we expected and should receive. In our opinion you are stealing money from your customers and did not provide the care our dog needed. Shame on you!!!! Give us our money back!!!!!!

I went today to get my dog's nails trimmed, nothing else. They said it has gone up to 20.00. I still agreed because my little dog really needs a trim. I waited for an hour and asked if I was in line because 2 people that came in after me were called first. I was told because I didn't have an appt. It was a nail trim, I didn't need to see the vet. I asked if 2 other dogs after me would be called first also. They said no they would get me in next. Then they called the other dogs. So you want to overcharge me, treat me badly and lie to. I don't think so. I walked out and I won't go back

Adkins 301 Pet Hospital has provided very good care to my pets. I have a suggestion though - have one of the vets learn to spay and neuter without removing the ovaries/testes. Recent research is showing that dogs who maintian their ovaries and/or testes live longer (Rotties by about 5 years), are much less likely to get cancer, reduces the rate of obesity by 50%, reduces the rate of bone, joint, and hip problems greatly, and allows the endocrine system to function normally - so no diabetes, hypothryriodism, or cushings disease. I have been unable to locate a vet around this area that can do this and I suspect it will become in higher demand as more pet lovers discover the benefit.

They pulled 2 teeth from my cat and gave her to much medicine to put her to sleep, they called me to decide what to do with her. Of course we took her home to pass. Well with love and talking to her, she is getting better.. Her surgery was 12-10-2015 and today (12-14-2015) she is walking, jumping, going to the bathroom, just tired a lot. Thank God I didn't give up on her. The power of love and prayers.
