I have used them for years but will never return.  Second time they have upcharged me nearly $100 with no communication of what they are doing.  The only comment the doctor can make is that you signed the waiver.  Do you honestly think that anyone is going to read through your ridiculous disclaimer while trying to manage your animal(s) with all the other people waiting in line???  You are very quick to say you signed something but not transparent in what you are having people sign.  As a common practice you should offer to fully communicate what your practices are and at minimum provide your clients with what they signed. If you want to be overcharged, upcharged, and don't like transparency then this is the place for you. This is the best vet's office that I've worked with. We have three rescue dogs, one with a history of abuse. They went as far as to ask what her triggers are. We also adopted a beagle who was very ill. They said it could be contagious and to call them when we got there. A vet tech came out to the car and very gently carried our beagle inside, straight into the room. He sat on the floor and stroked her head while they examined her. These folks are so good with animals. My chihuahua cut his foot last night and somehow they were able to get him an appointment for later today. You won't be sorry if you bring your pets here. Today was my first visit but I had spoken to several people prior across multiple days and was always treated with patience, understanding and attentiveness. While I was at my appointment I received guidance by the Hospital Administrator Amarilis and the information I received from Frank (the dog evaluation and rehabilitation expert..."Trainer" just doesn't say enough) was invaluable. The Practice Manager Meagan was very timely in her communications and made the scheduling process smooth. I am confident in going forward with their assistance and look forward to the development of the skill sets in both myself and Barkley that will enable us to be successful in all scenarios. Read Less

I've been taking my pets to Cedarcrest for a few years and have loved Dr. Chase and have been willing to pay higher prices for good service. My last few interactions with them have been pretty disappointing, so much so that I will be looking for a new vet. They place you on hold forever while waiting to make a simple appointment, don't respond at all to requests made online, and the quality of care since Dr. CHASE has been on maternity leave has gone down drastically and wait times have gone up significantly. I brought my animal in for an eye infection and was told I'd have to pickup the med the next day well the med didn't come in until 5pm the next day and they close at 6pm meaning my cat went 2 days without the meds for no acceptable reason. They also charged us $43 for a med that other vets sell for $15. So unless you want the extra hassle and high costs to receive sub par vet care, is avoid this clinic. Read Less

The doctors are very knowledgeable and are patient when we have questions! Even with our very energetic lab, they are very kind to him and show him as much love as we do. Our lab enjoys the doggie daycare very much and is always willing to go (he whines when we pick him up lol). Our lab had to be neutered and have a his belly button fixed. The doctor did very well and our lab healed in no time! As for any vet, the prices are high which is common no matter where you go. Doggie day care for half a day is $15 and for a full day is $22. You do have to bring your dogs own food if you prefer. The vet has food just in case. That would be the only negative thing I would have to say about this. For any on questioning if they should go or not, let me help you...GO!! You won't regret it! Read Less

We just switched Vets and decided to give Cedarcrest a try. I really like how friendly and knowledgeable the staff was over the phone and in person when we toured the facility. The facility smells and looks clean, they have a separate sterile room for surgeries, rows of kennels in the back for every size dog that are kept clean. I'm definitely going to give the groomer a try with our husky. The prices are a few dollars more than our old vet, but the customer service, atmosphere, and knowledge of the staff that works there, makes it worth the few extra dollars. Read Less

A month ago I got a call from my mom while we were out of town that our 13 year old Maltese was sick. Dr. Qualles examined him and said he had 3 bladder stones in his urethra and 5 in his bladder and needed surgery that day to avoid an emergency. She said if we waited 2 days until we got home it could turn into more of an emergency. I expressed my concern about him being 13 and having a heart murmur. She said that she wasn’t too concerned. I didn’t consider the fact that my dog would never be the same. The doctor should have told me the risks of this surgery. She should have told me 13 was too old to recover from this and he could stop eating, start urinating all over my house day and night, start being aggressive toward my other animals, etc. I’ve talked with a few other vets who said they’d never do this on an animal over 9. I wasted $2100 on this surgery (which I was originally quoted 1600-1800) because I’m probably going to have to put him down. This should have been an option/suggestion from the beginning. I don’t have 24 hours a day to dedicate to taking care of my dog. I love him but it’s time to let him go. He’s miserable. Read Less

We have been going to CAH for 8 years. The staff has always been great for veterinary services and grooming. We never felt like we were being oversold and the prices felt fair. However, we gained a new appreciation when our dog became diabetic 2 months ago. All the staff members from the front desk, the vet techs, groomer and the docotrs were just as upset as we were and we could truly feel the love they had for our furbaby. They have been so patient while helping us figure out our new normal. We feel so thankful to have them just a call away and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who doesn't want anything but the best care for their little ones.Read Less

We have used Cedarcrest animal hospital once prior to our latest (not so great) experience for boarding. The only area I experienced was the lobby, from what I could see it is a very large and beautiful facility and everyone was very friendly. This last time I dropped my dog off for a few days of boarding, payed for extra walks, kong treats everyday, a full bath, and brought my dogs homemade dog food (he has a very limited diet due to allergies.) When I picked up my dog I immediately knew something was way off. He was soaking wet, didn't smell clean, his white fur was brown, and his nails looked like a complete hack job, still long, jagged and some not even cut. It was very clear that they just wet him down, and didn't bother actually washing him. Even though that is what I payed for. Which makes me think, even though I payed for extra walks and treats, who knows if he even got them... on our way home is when the horror started.. in the years we have had our baby he has never had an accident. The poor exhausted guy had diahrea all over the car covered in blood. I called the office and they passed me around on the phone until one doctor said nonchalantly to just add rice to his food..... my dog is allergic to grains..... yeah, no thanks. She also mentioned that because they take in SO MANY dogs at once that they may have just given him their house food.. That's not okay. If you can't keep up with the amount of animals you board then obviously They are not being given the care they need while in their care. It couldn't have been the first time he had blood and mucus in his stool, why didn't someone notice and have one their vets treat him on the spot? We had to rush him to his regular vet and now a month later we are still dealing with the aftermath of boarding at Cedarcrest animal hospital. Never again. Never again. Never again. Read Less

Your facility is very clean. The staff is very friendly and seems quite knowledgeable. We just got a dog for the first time last year. We also got another dog this year. Appointments have been quick and simple. My two opinions and or frustrations are as follows. It would be cool if scheduling online was a more realtime process. I have attempted this twice and both times I never received any confirmation of the appointment. One time I was under the impression that I had an appointment only to find when I arrived that it was not scheduled. The stag was very apologetic and explained the online process. My second is my most recent visit. With my first dog I had one puppy exam and my other two trips were simply for vaccinations. There was no exam need and I was only charged for the vaccines. With my new dog I had my first puppy appointment and at that time we determined that her age was incorrect in your records. This was important because it determined her age for certain vaccinations. At our last appointment her age was still incorrect in your system and the team was originally only going to give her a second distemper. She was actually due for her third and rabies. During the previous visit I was also told that my last visit would not require an exam and that all I would pay for was vaccinations. I believe due to the incorrect age she was given an exam and then the correct vaccinations. This caused me to pay for another exam. It was unexpected and inconsistent with my first experience and what I was told at the previous appointment. I truly do appreciate all your service and I recommend you faculty to all my friends and neighbors. Please just make sure that the process is consistent. Read Less

Read Less

The aromatherapy diffused into the air and the tranquil music is very inviting. The staff members are top notch. Their customer service is exceptional and they all really love your pets. Don't let the beautiful architecture imply high prices. They are priced competitively if not better than surrounding animal hospitals. I have 3 dogs (2 Miniature Schnauzers and a Rottweiler).
