Last Saturday, February 9th, 2019, our precious two-year-old, mostly feral cat, Frankie, died at this facility. He became very ill after being treated for a urinary blockage by our vet a few days before. He died at All Pets Emergency from cardiac arrest. It was devastating. He was only two. And he wasn't blocked at this time. We asked them to contact Deceased Pet Care on Sunday morning to pick him up and be brought to their crematorium, along with my jacket that I left for him to be wrapped in and a rose that was left for him the next day. They did. Only, soon after, our horrible family vet called All Pets (because I had called her that night and left a message in tears that he had died, erroneously thinking she would be compassionate), but instead, she reported us to the Cherokee County Marshall's office to confiscate our cat, Frankie's body, and take him instead to the Health Department to have his head chopped off to be tested for rabies. It seemed that, the first day he was there (Monday, February 4th) he had bitten a tech of hers. Shockingly, in a display of grave negligence, we were NOT informed about the alleged bite. I told our vet he was feral and I was the only one he would let love on him, and that he needed to be sedated before anyone should handle him. They failed to heed our advice. He had been vaccinated, though, and has been indoors since he was born. HE DID NOT HAVE RABIES!!! Devastated by his loss, his early death, all he suffered so unjustly from, and NOW his head would be cut off too! It was indescribably emotional and upsetting. The Marshall of Cherokee County and the Health Department were involved and NO ONE seemed to know where our precious baby's body was. We were frantic. Only after contacting the Forsyth County Sheriffs Department, when my husband requested that a deputy go to ALL Pets to inquire if they did indeed have him, did we find him!!! All the receptionists, including their supervisor Carrie, lied, saying, "Oh, the police just picked him up", to "We don't have a key to the freezer", to "No he is NOT here", only to find that they Indeed had had him all this time! For all these days we were frantically trying to locate him thinking his precious head was severed somewhere! These people are AWFUL!!!!!!!!!! They have no business being in a business that involves caring for animals . And, yes, there will be a law suit. If anyone else wants to jump on board, let us know. Read Less
