Dr. Legato combines his knowledge and diverse experiences in a patient and client-friendly way to optimize care for the animals under his care and to provide comfort and understanding to the humans. Our animal enjoyed all the attention, and we left happy with the care she received. We also appreciated none of the usual aggressive promotion of treatments that's the norm in other vet clinics. Thanks so much to Dr. Legato at Sycamore Veterinary Services for taking such good care of my dog Sparkle! He took the time to make sure that he was getting the proper treatment and medication. He was very patient with Sparkle when he growled and wriggled around. I also appreciate the fact that they didn't charge for a follow up set of x-rays after the first set didn't turn out properly! If you are looking for a vet in the Hull or Colbert or North Athens area, I highly recommend Sycamore!

I work in the field myself and that is not the words that I would use to describe all the veterinarians that I have met. I would recommend this place as a place of service if you have any pets and you're looking for a veterinarian to call your home. They also service Exotics to what you want find at many places.

Both Dr. Fields and Dr. Mackey are excellent veterinarians who are great with all kinds of animals. My family first turned to them when we had an older rabbit. They were great with her, even getting down on the floor to check her out. As our rabbit approached 12 and her health began to fail they were instrumental in easing her discomfort and being honest with us about what the correct procedures that would help at her age. Now we have a rescue dog and Dr. Fields (we have no met with Dr. Mackey with the dog) again has been great in guiding us into new dog ownership, helping us decipher records from her previous owners, and helping us work through some minor skin issues. She's been very thorough in doing further research to get to bottom of what's been ailing our dog. With both pets, I've also felt as though Sycamore has given me a wide range of options to choose from to best fit our pets' health and our financial needs, without compromising great service and quality care. While recommendations are provided, I never feel pressured to pick one option over another or that unnecessary procedures are being prescribed. All in all, it's very clear that both Dr. Fields and Dr. Mackey are passionate about caring for animals and are excellent at it.

Dr Mackey took the time to get to know our rabbit and his personality prior to his treatment. I highly recommend Sycamore for caring and compassionate treatment for your little buddy too.

They understand when you may not be able to pay for top notch medicine and do everything they can to work with u and ur babies. I have been here twice, once with my pigeons and once with my conure. Dr. Mackey is amazing with all of my birds, and I love coming here. I have learned so much both times, she is a great teacher in addition to being a great vet! The facility is clean, and the front staff and techs are also friendly and helpful! I trust them implicitly with all of my birds.

Both Dr. Fields and Dr. Mackey are excellent veterinarians who are great with all kinds of animals. My family first turned to them when we had an older rabbit. They were great with her, even getting down on the floor to check her out. As our rabbit approached 12 and her health began to fail they were instrumental in easing her discomfort and being honest with us about what the correct procedures that would help at her age. Now we have a rescue dog and Dr. Fields (we have no met with Dr. Mackey with the dog) again has been great in guiding us into new dog ownership, helping us decipher records from her previous owners, and helping us work through some minor skin issues. She's been very thorough in doing further research to get to bottom of what's been ailing our dog. With both pets, I've also felt as though Sycamore has given me a wide range of options to choose from to best fit our pets' health and our financial needs, without compromising great service and quality care. While recommendations are provided, I never feel pressured to pick one option over another or that unnecessary procedures are being prescribed. All in all, it's very clear that both Dr. Fields and Dr. Mackey are passionate about caring for animals and are excellent at it.
