Dr. Bryant has been my only vet for several years. I will only take my pets to her. She is not only caring, but you know from her interactions that she is telling you the truth and giving you the best advice for your pets. She is a vet from the heart and it shows. I moved to Southwest Fulton after living in Southwest DeKalb for many years. We adopted our dog (Dora) in October 2015, and our first vet was in Decatur. I thought that I was impressed by the level of care I received at the vet in Decatur, but Greenbriar Animal Hospital leaves that other vet in the dust. Late last night, Dora starting having issues with frequent urination, blood in her urine, etc. I started calling around to vets in the area only to find out that either they were not open or did not take walk-ins. Only Greenbriar took walk-ins, and they were able to see Dora WITHIN THE HOUR that I called. The office is clean, and the staff is friendly. If you are looking for a luxurious waiting room, you won't find it here BUT, I WAS FAR MORE CONCERNED ABOUT MY DOG'S HEALTH and Greenbriar Animal Hospital delivered top notch care. Also, they have separate areas for dogs and cats--super smart!!!! Dr. Bryant is knowledgeable and spent time talking to me about possible issues. The staff exercised good discipline and control over Dora--I didn't feel nervous leaving her (and this was my first time leaving her for a vet visit). UPDATE (next day, 7/28/16): I just received a call from GAH; the doctor was actually on the phone with one of the caregivers to check on Dora, answer questions, and inform me of next steps. She gave me recommendations for diet change, as well. I almost can't believe this gem of a veterinarian is so close to my home! So glad this place is in my neighborhood. The front desk lady is so nice and the doctor is a gem. She has been in biz for 30 years and it shows high. Very kind and intuitive. I went to another expensive franchise place two days earlier for my kittens bite from an attack and they just gave him pain meds and very expensive charges. The same X-ray is half the price here. My dogs all just came from a visit at Greenbriar Animal Hospital where they stayed the entire extended weekend. They looked so happy as the staff was very courteous to me and to my pets. I have noticed how my pets are excited to go to this clinic and this helps me feel at ease. Dr. Bryant is very down-to-earth and she and her staff are very caring which is evident in my pets responses to arriving on the premises as well as how great they smell and look when they come home. Don't board your pets at this facility!!! Poor customer service. I've never met Dr. Bryant. On both visits I've encountered a male staff member name Larry and his disposition is horrible. I dismissed Mack 101 review because all the other ones were decent and I wanted to patronize a local business. Big mistake! My first visit in February 2014 left much to be desired....Upon entering I noted that the facility was clean but not well maintained. Staff members greet you from behind a glass window from which they cant' hear you and you can't hear them. Speaking to them is a screaming match. You are not allowed to view the boarding area and there are no pictures available. Basically you just have to "imagine" where your dog will be kept. I was assured that they were familiar with my breed of dog, Pit Bull, and that it would be no problem to board him. You are not allowed to bring any toys or familiar items. Other boarders have actually suggested this to reduce anxiety. Larry advised that my dog would be fed and walked 2x a day for $17 per day, and that toys/blankets pose and danger when boarding. Upon my return I was told that only Larry and another staff member had been able to tend to my dog, and that he responded aggressively towards other staffers. I was reassured that it wasn't too much trouble. I told them I'd hoped to utilize them again. Our 2nd visit occurred July 2nd -7th and it started off badly. I arrived early to a packed lobby to included 3 small dogs. I approached the window with my 90lb dog and I'm told to have a seat and wait a moment. After a 20 min wait Larry calls us up quickly processes my deposit and just as I'm paying another guy states "oh..he bites!" I ask for an explanation to the comment and Larry shrugs it off and states it's a note written on my pet's chart. I then inquire about the increase in fees and Larry shares they've increased the boarding fee and he forgot to tell me but it's ONLY dollar. Incorrect! Its $2 dollars...but at this point I'm headed out of own so I pray that despite my dog's continuous barks all will end well. Monday afternoon Larry calls to inquire if I'd like to have my dog cleaned because he was unable to be walked or leave the kennel due to his aggressive behavior. WTH??? I don't know what upset me more the vision of my pet stuck in some hot box surrounded in urine and feces or Larry's amazing comfort in asking for money when the basic services hadn't been provided. A friend who listened in on the call suggested I ask how would they be able to wash him if they hadn't been able to approach him for walking. Larry stated they had been able to get him out a few times with the tool used for dog catching and they would have to sedate him for bathing. I declined the service and will never return. Here's my bottom line....they have poor customer service and they provide the basic and nothing more in boarding service. This is not the best option If your dog requires a tender hand or a bit more attention. They will however give you tons of information about additional preventive medications and why its worth your $$$. Larry comes alive when talking about Flu shots and heart worms etc... YET the same guy who has a certificate in "common behavior problems" has only 2 words to MUMBLE concerning my pet....Aggressive and Sedate. I've never taken the time to write a review...EVER! Her entire staff is well-trained, and they are extremely caring and they know so much about animals! The boarding is $15/day and I was asked if they should bath the cat before pickup, so I agreed but being a new customer to this facility; I was not told there was a $40 fee for bathing. They are very deceptive in not posting any fee schedule for customary Dog or Cat services and will freely add on services they see fit without calling the owner. So I was quoted one price then charge over $90+ dollars more upon retrieval of our pet. The doctor would not admit their mistake but instead blamed (me) customer. Read Less
