I cannot tell you how amazing PFAH is! For 15 years, we have been going here, seeing Dr. Wright, Dr. Miller, Dr. Smith, and Dr. Berkowitz. Dr. Wright is one of a kind, with great ability to explain things clearly, keep stressful situations to a minimum, and to support every decision we make. Max, our Bichon, died earlier this year, but he started getting sick years beforehand. He was a difficult dog to medicate at times because of his issues, but all the doctors were able to find a way to make him comfortable. In the last year or so of Max's life, he really went downhill. He was the first dog we had ever had and the attachment we had to him made decisions difficult for us. We began visiting Dr. Wright generally once every two weeks, or more frequently: ear infection, loss of hearing, urinating in the house, wandering around, not eating, limping, stomach issues, etc. Dr. Wright (or whichever doctor we saw) was always so supportive, never becoming frustrated with us, and always found a way to help. All of the staff seemed to know of Max's problems, so when we called or came in, they were so sweet to him and us. The decision to euthanize Max at the end was a heart wrenching decision, but the support we got from Dr. Wright gave us the strength to make the right decision. From the first day we went to PFAH to the day of Max's euthanasia, we have been truly blessed to have such a wonderful veterinary team to help us with our sickness-prone dog. Thank you PFAH for being such a support for my family and being so easy to work with. We are contemplating a new puppy for next spring and there is no way we would ever go anywhere else!Read Less
