This has the feel of a "mom and pop" establishment. If you take your pets here, you and your pets will be greeted by name. I love how friendly, helpful, and professional everyone is. I trust them completely with our pets, I would highly recommend them for veterinary care.

We have used Acute Care Veterinary Services and Boarding for years and had always been happy. Unfortunately we boarded our small dog for one week during the summer and to say we were unhappy is an understatement. He did not eat or drink while we were gone and also developed diarrhea but we never received a call that there was a problem. Luckily, we called to check on him a few days before we were set to return and were told that he had not been eating and had diarrhea. We immediately left our vacation spot and returned for him that day. He was listless, did not show any emotion when we picked him up, and he was unable to stand. He seemed to be dehydrated.
I emailed the owner and explained what happened but he showed no concern and even said that they had called us that day because he was not doing well. I emailed back explaining that in fact nobody called us and we would have been unaware for days if we had not called to check on him. He ignored my email. Terrible care and terrible customer service! We will go elsewhere for our pet's future needs.

They treat our dog like family and he loves going here! He goes berserk every time Ms Corey comes out to get him and I can tell they treat him so well. Board your dog here at ease!

I had a great experience here today. I am a student from out of town and didn't know where to go, but I am so thankful I chose here. The staff was very friendly and helpful! They even worked me in same day. I will return (hopefully not) if my dog has any future injuries.

The doctors and staff here at Acute Care are the best veterinarians I have met. No matter what day of the week or after hours if needed they always go out of their way to take excellent care of their animals. They have cared for our dog CJ just like she was their own. They always treated our concerns quickly and with the upmost attention to detail. They offer many services beyond vet care and eventually know u on a first name basis. We are lifelong patrons. This is the absolute BEST Vets office ever. Our dog Tippy was diagnosed with DM (Degenerative Myelopathy). Dr. Flood went out of her way to help us and answer any questions we had regarding Tippy’s treatment. She researched and found the best method of care for Tippy when she could have told us to go to Columbia and have them help us. The rest of the staff is also a pleasure to deal with. They know me by name every time I call and know I belong to Tippy as soon as I call. They are an amazing group and I would recommend the office to anyone.

The vets and the entire staff at ACVC are wonderful, caring people. They do everything they can to get you in and make you and your pet feel comfortable. While you are waiting for your appointment, the ladies working the desk and the veterinary assistants will make you feel comfortable and at home immediately. The veterinary assistants will let you know all kinds of things about your pet while you wait to see Dr Brucker, Dr Flood, or Dr Bloodworth. Things like - thier weight, approximate age and breed if you are adopting, or even - "Who told you that was a lab - that is the prettiest Australian Cattle Dog I have ever seen!" I have never been disappointed in the treatment of my dogs while I am there and they have been able to diagnose and treat them or send me to someone that can (like UGA for my blind dog). You will also enjoy the wonderful people that board and pamper your dogs. They look out for your dog and always know each pets name when they see them.

This has the feel of a "mom and pop" establishment. If you take your pets here, you and your pets will be greeted by name. I love how friendly, helpful, and professional everyone is. I trust them completely with our pets, I would highly recommend them for veterinary care.

We have used Acute Care Veterinary Services and Boarding for years and had always been happy. Unfortunately we boarded our small dog for one week during the summer and to say we were unhappy is an understatement.
