These guys CARE! Truley care. I have an old 100 lb dog who has severe arthritis. These guys have taken us in with in an hour of calling, treated us with concern and addressed the issue at hand. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I was a customer of this VH for 12 years. Recently I had a beloved family dog that I took there on three separate occasions over the period of one month for worsening symptoms. The doctor said labs were drawn, and I was charged for these labs, but they could never show me the results. My dog was actually even left at the facility on the third visit for almost a week, and no answers could be provided. They treated my pet for several different conditions, but could never provide a solid, scientific laboratory proven rationale for why these treatments were being done - however they were more than happy to continue charging for these services. My dog died after being in their care for nearly 1 week, and a copy of my labs was refused to me, I assume because they these extra labs were charged but they forgot to call to have them added on/completed. This was not the first pet such a bad mistake was made by this facility, but the other animal didn't die, thank God, but a needless surgery was conducted. I feel as though these folks are out to get money and providing excuses - one such excuse was " we called but didn't leave a message" in regards to these same phantom lab results (anyone with 2 senses knows a call without a message is as useless as not calling), and these people aren't equipped to handle real medical issues of pets. Please, if you are seeking routine, basic care such as vaccines, maybe use these folks... if there is a real medical problem and you expect professionalism and evidence based practices that can actually treat disease, please take your beloved animals elsewhere. The Dr. was not willing to investigate the cause of my kitty's sickness. They did not fully explain her test results that I paid an additional $150. I ended up taking her to another vet that was able to get to the bottom of the issue. Read Less

Fantastic staff! We are so happy to have found this vet clinic. We have been in the area for almost four years now and this is our third vet - but one that we sill stick with! All three of the doctors are stellar, very knowledgeable, and VERY patient, with our pups. They are not overly expensive either. As far as ease of appointments, as long as it is within operating hours, they always seem to be able to squeeze us into any emergency situations too (top marks for this one because we ALL know that our pets always get sick at weird times and getting them to the doctor sometimes proves to be difficult. Even their suggested emergency vet for after hours, (Eastside animal Emergency Clinic in Greyson), is fantastic. Finding a "Good" vet is hard, and for many, finding a "fantastic" vet is even more impossible - for us, we are very thankful to have found what we thought to be impossible. I cannot suggest or recommend this clinic any higher. We really are pleased with their professionalism and kindness to their patients and their families!Read Less

We've been taking our dogs here since the day they opened. Let me tell you, they have saved the lives of my dogs on numerous occasions (snake bites, open gaping wounds from being attacked by another dog, stomach issues, the list goes on and on). When we had to put down one of our beloved dogs they were very compassionate and understanding, handled it (and us) very well. They have always shown total care and concern and, dare I say it, even love for my dogs. Hell, I've called them 15 minutes before they were to close with an emergency as one of my dogs was injured and was basically bleeding out and they told me to come on in (I'm 3 miles from them). They waited for me and immediately took my dog to operate on him and save his life. Can't ask for more than that!! Heck, I've even gone up there to have them pull a tick off my yorkie (he squirms like hell and I couldn't mange it myself and hubby was out of town). They didn't mind and did it quickly and didn't charge me for it. I've never felt that their prices are unreasonable in fact at times I think they're rather low, but who am I to complain? Every employee that I have run across there has been awesome not only with their customer service, but in their care and handling of my furbabies...yes, my dogs are my babies that I love dearly. I can't ever see myself going to another vet, even if I move I will drive whatever distance to continue the care and attention my dogs receive here. As if you can't tell, I absolutely highly recommend Bethlehem Veterinary Hospital off of Hwy 11. Great people! Read Less

Best vet we've ever had! We moved to Dacula some 6-years ago and were lucky to find Dr. Frost and the other vet's at the Bethlehem Veterinary Hospital. Dr Frost saved my Domino -- She had been accidentally poisoned from revolution (too much) by another vet. That is how I got her....Dr Frost was the first vet I had seen with her, because that is who the breeder used for her. He has met me on Saturday evenings at the office with my other cat, Dixie...whom he literally also saved because she was in liver failure. He is honest and doesnt push you to do things because of money with your animal. He understands your situation and always helps my animals. Im with him for the long haul....any animal I have will ONLY see him.Read Less

I am struggling to find the words to express how grateful I am to Dr. Tomlinson and his staff at Bethlehem Vet. My aging "pup" has been a long-time patient of the good doctor, and Dr. Tomlinson has always treated both my pup and I with the utmost respect and care. He is one of the most knowledgeable vets I have found in the Athens Area, for both large and small animals (He also cared for our horses in the past). Our last visit was about a week ago, when we visited to find a way to make my dog a little more comfortable. His hips are really starting to bother him :( When lots of options for treatment are available, Dr. Tomlinson takes extra time to make sure that I understand everything available, down to which are the most effective and all the costs associated with each option. We just used Dr. Frost for the first time a few days ago because of a horrible experience with another local vet. He was so nice and so kind when he made a house call for our horse.
