We love Dr. Betteker and the whole crew at Chateau Animal Hospital.  We have been using their services since our Chocolate and Tan Dapple Dachshund was 8 weeks old and he will be 13 next month!  They have handled teeth cleanings, regular check ups and a few minor surgeries over the years, plus boarding as well.  We rescued a Black and Tan Dachshund about 9 years ago and we had him checked out by Dr. Betteker and they have been seeing him ever since.  The office is always clean and the staff is always professional and friendly. I called this place yesterday on Mother's day and 2 days before our house closing date and moving. I was panicking since my baby front leg was swollen. I talked to someone and was put on hold and when someone on the other line was taking the call, I think it was the Dr. Betteker himself. Apparently I was forwarded to the wrong line, however instead of just forward my call again to someone else, he answered all of my questions, fit in my appointment right away before they close and I was there as soon as I could. I was greeted by great staff, amazing lobby and the place smells good. He took his time to look at my baby and also talked and joke around with my son. Before long, he found out that our Clover was in fact bitten by a snake and put me at ease and explained to me what he's gonna do, what I need to watch and what I have to do in case his or that happened. I'm glad I found Chateau Animal Hospital. My pitbull needed TPLO surgery and luckily they had a specialist that comes to their office periodically. After researching online, I was very pleasantly surprised when they told me the price because it was much lower than I expected. We now bring all of our animals here and have had a pleasant experience every time. We feel comfortable bring all our fur babies here, and they call to follow up after every visit. However, I will say that if you're going to buy heartworm or other medications from them, don't buy in the office. You'll save a lot of money by buying off their website where they often run decent deals. Read Less

My family (fur babies included) absolutely love the doctors and staff here. They are friendly and caring, knowledgeable and professional. We never feel pressured to pursue any route we are not comfortable with. They do their best to make animal care affordable, to the benefit of the animals in their care as well as the families who love them. I am so impressed with this place! Our regular Vet whom we love and have been taking our pups to for years was booked for grooming so I had to call another place which I dreaded. The price was better than our first place and even if it wasn't the service alone made me want to continue here!! They are so very friendly and went above and beyond what I expected! We see Dr. Beticar, and he is wonderful. He takes time to really listen, and examines our pets well. He has a kind and understanding nature. We tried some other vets in the area before we met him. When we ventured into his place, and experienced his work, we knew we had finally found the right vet to entrust our furry children. His office is well vented and very clean. I LOVE Dr. Quesada & Dr. Betteker!! They are both AMAZING!! It is super easy to get an appointment for all of my Fur babies :-) And they ALWAYS do a follow-up call the day after I take any of my babies in!! Not only do i fully trust them & like them.... but their prices are extremely reasonable!! I made the mistake years ago of going to Banfield... where they up charge & sell you on things unnecessary! Over priced & not nearly competent. SO! I give Chatea Animal Hospital 5 STARS! I'd give more if I could!! Always clean & sterile.. Friendly staff who truly cares & loves what they do!! We love Chateau....we have four dogs and have been going there for a couple years, since we moved to the area. We have been taking our pets to Chateau Animal Hospital for about 10 years now. From new pet on-boarding and regular check-ups, to making hard decisions about sick ones, they have always been there to educate, and comfort us while making sure the animals are taken care of. They have excellent boarding and grooming options. Our dog loves the "Spa" grooming package which includes a bath, nail trim, and anal gland cleanse. We have tried to bathe her ourselves and her coat never comes out smelling as good and as soft as it does when they do it! She loves the staff so much that she sits with them at the front when we board her there! We started going to Chateau Animal Hospital after adopting our second dog a few months ago. They had done alot of work on him while he was in the rescue's care and already knew him so we wanted to give them a try. We have been so impressed! We tried a few different vets before and found that although they were great with the dogs, treating people nicely seemed difficult but that's definitely not the case here. Everyone is so respectful and nice to us! I love love love that they are open on the weekends and can usually fit us in same day when we really need them. I love the staff and Vet's they are friendly and knowledgeable. My cat Callie loves the grooming, she use to be sedated at her last Vet Hospital that we attended for many years. Chateau animal hospital became my new care center for my Puppy- a now 8 year old malti-poo. Dr Betteker and his staff are spot on and whether its a check up, dental work, or a stay in their luxury suites, the staff here is quick and on occasions where an emergency is up, she's gets right in and they immediately get on to fixing what was wrong. My little 7 lb baby girl likes to wear sweaters as she has little hair and likes the warmth. My son noticed her licking the top of her leg and I didn't so when I looked, one string from where the foot goes in caught and snagged and wrapped around her leg cutting into her. It must have been a week or maybe 4-5 days since she had taken her sweater off so the wound was shocking to me to see. I took the sweater off at home and noticed the string stuck to her leg and was already down into the skin all the way around. Scared the crap out of me. When I took her in at 4;15 on a sat- we got right in, the girls got her shots ready as she was due and Dr B came in 10 min later after looking at her leg. They shaved it down and exposed the wound, treated it, got her some antibiotics and also noticed she had a molar that was deteriorating and needs to come out. That explains her eating habits and nausea!Nevertheless, 30 min later, we are out, with meds, going back this week to get the tooth out and Puppy is find and not even licking her wound- knowing she will get the cone of silence if she keeps it up!! Can't say how pleased I have been every time taking her in, the care the girls and staff show, and the manner in which Doc works. Rates are no higher than other places and its always clean and well kept. Highly recommend for taking care of your beloved pets!!! Read Less

I was more than pleased with both the quality of care and the pricing of services and medications at our new vet, Chateau Animal Hospital. Dr. Betteker and his staff truly are awesome. Dr. Betteker and Christy saw Alfonzo, my 130 lb Rottweiler, for a wound on his face he had from scratching. After shaving two nasty spots, oral steroids, oral antibiotics, and medicated spray, he will be an extremely high-maintenance cone head for a while. They were all knowledgeable, friendly, caring, and willing to help from the second we walked in the door. They took time with Alfonzo, and also took the time explaining things to me. Not only were they knowledgeable in veterinary medicine, but Dr. Betteker and his entire staff understand a canine's mental health and how their behaviors are used to communicate. In an environment such as a veterinary office which can be very stressful for animals, this is very important for the safety of the animals and people! Looking forward to a great annual physical in the fall! It also looks like they have some awesome suites for boarding fully equipped with a gorgeous dog park.
