Our regular vet in our small town wasn't open on Saturdays so we looked up vets in Columbus that was open on Saturdays. After reading some of the reviews and what seemed to be a good vet is nothing but a joke. We took our cat to see him and walked out before she even got to see the vet. First of all the lady that took our cat back I told her that checking her temp was okay but bring her back in the room with us to have her mouth checked out. The lady agreed then after she brought our cat in the room, she had her carrier bag in one hand and was toting our cat under her arm like she was just a bag of potatoes. She then said that they wanted to test her for FeLv. I then being upset already after seeing how she treated my cat told her my cat was an inside cat and the problem with her mouth was from scratching. Even after addressing my concerns she still wanted to do what she wanted and order a bunch of unnecessary tests that my cat didn't need.We got our cat and told her forget it, I am taking my cat to another vet and I wouldn't be back. After taking my cat to Northside Animal Hospital the vet confirmed what I pretty much knew what she had which was Rodent Ulcer. One word of advice stay away from this place. I adopted an older cat from Paws 2 years ago that had been brought back 3+ times. She was 9 years old at the time, had severe dandruff, and all sorts of digestive issues. The first clinic I took her to was worthless, they dropped me in an examination room, but took her to the back for the examination (?). The vet came in, told me it was probably nothing (all the while trying to hide the fact she was texting while talking to me with a clipboard) and gave me antibiotics for her. Wouldn't give me back my cat until I paid. The next vets clinic was a similar experience. Even with no improvements, I refused to be another owner that brought her back. She was getting worse at this point, stopped eating, lethargic. Then I took her to this tiny little hospital. The examination room was more like the kind at a peds office than a typical vet examination room. One of the nurse techs even stayed with me to take her vitals and doted over how pretty she was. The doctor was in only minutes later, listened attentively to the problems I had observed and actually responded and held a conversation with me about her. After his examination, he told me that not only did she likely have a form of IBS and should be put on a bland diet, but also pointed out two rotten teeth that needed to be removed that other veterinarians hadn't even mentioned! After the appointment we scheduled a day for surgery, which I hear went smoothly, and she was held for observation for two days afterward (during which they even started on a more gentle diet for her stomach). When I picked her up a couple techs stopped to talk with me about how sweet and pretty she is, I could tell I left her in the hands of people who genuinely cared about her. She's 11 now, missing a few teeth but her wounds healed beautifully. I've been using the food they recommended for me since and not only did it held clear up almost all of her tummy problems, but her dandruff has gone away and her coat is shinier than ever before. A friend referred me to them. I have to say I am glad that I took my dog here. I have an older dog and they took care of her. While I had to wait a little while longer than normal because of an emergency. I completely understand because it showed to me that the other's pet who was in a life threatening situation that they were taking care of them and I would want the same for my dog. I took my chorkie in a couple of weeks ago because he had some tummy issues and I honestly have NOTHING bad to say :). Before we left the clinic/hospital my dog was already feeling better and with the medication that he was on, within a week he was back to terrorizing his stuffed toys! My golden loves going to the vet! Dr. Jones is a great doc and is always up on the latest advancements in his practice. He only uses and recommends products with proven records of being safe and with truth to claim. He approaches treatment conservatively but knows when aggressive measures are necessary. I have been bringing my dogs here ever since I have had them. Probably between 4 to 6 years. The Doctor and his staff are absolutely amazing. My family and I bring all of our animals to him. I believe he has performed four to five surgeries on our dogs. All very successful and with amazing love and care. I would recommend this veterinarian clinic to anybody. Read Less

Do not use this vet.  He will lie.  He pushes products he prefers on to his customers.  He also tried to claim a particular dog had several recalls when it never had one.  The brands he tried to recommend had several recalls.  My brothers dog is disable.  He told my brother he didn't need his rabe shots.  My brothers dog was picked up.  Animal control called him.  He claimed he never told my brother that.  His staff had an attitude with us.  Be ware do not use him. Dr. Jones is fantastic. Our golden retriever has been going to him since he was a puppy. He has some health issues early on but thanks to dr. Jones he is healthy as can be now. He actually loves going to the vet thanks to the wonderful staff he is tail wagging and whining to get in the door! Read Less

Dr. Jones and his staff are top notch.  We adopted our dog & 6 months later he stopped walking. I took him right to the vet who knew exactly what needed to be done.
