General Info
We are open 7:30-12-30/1:30-6:00 M,T,TH,F and from 7:30-12:30 on Wed. Sat. we are here 8:30-11:30am. Boarding is available whether for the day or longterm. We have indoor stainless steel kennels and dogs are leash walked two to three times daily in a fenced in backyard. Spaying, neutering, dental procedures, vaccinating, bathing, shaving and much more are available.
Preventative medicine is always priority and we welcome new clients and patients. We are not a pet shop. We are not groomers. We are a medical facility that tries to offer what our patient's need. Our primary impetus is small animal medicine and soft tissue surgery. Small animals includes all dog breeds and domestic cats.

Dr. Moshell and his staff are the best around and I am so heartbroken they are closing the clinic. No one compares to them, they are truly going to be missed.

Dr Moshell was just amazing today! I had an emergency with my little dog and my own vet whom I have been seeing for 5 years refused to see me. They were "booked" for today. Several vets turned me away today, but not Dr Moshell! He squeezed us right in and most importantly did not make me feel like I ruined his day nor was I a burden. Dr Moshell took his time with my dog, got to know me and my dog a little bit and...he let me listen to his heart!! No Doctor ever in all my years (30+years of pet owning) has a doctor ever offered such a really neat opportunity. Today, I got to hear my dogs heart for the very first time! For some of you this is probably not a big deal, but for someone who can't have a child and this fur baby is all I have. This was something I will never forget! So if your looking for a caring Dr for your pet, do not go looking elsewhere!! He and his staff were and will always be in my heart for helping me today. Thank you!

I was having an emergency with my cat, I rushed him to my (then) vet, Animal General, but it was 5:35 and they told me the veterinarians had already left & they couldn't help Oscar (my kitty). I was desperate! Oscar and I were both crying, so they called University Ave. Vet Clinic. Even though it was almost 6:00 by then, they said to bring him over, they would wait for us. On my way out to my car, the vet - whom I'd been told was gone - passed me as she left. But this isn't about them, this is about the heroes that saved the day...and Oscar's tushie (he had...hmmm, how to put this delicately...a big poop stuck in his little backside). lol. It's easy to laugh about it now, but it was horrible when it was happening. The great staff & doc at University Avenue Vet Clinic were ready and waiting for us. They never made me feel bad about keeping them so late. To the contrary, they made me feel at ease, and were very sweet. They then made Oscar feel "at ease". :D. They even gave his backside a bath, and trust me, it was a mess!Recommended!

I have never seen my boy in such a sad manner, it's like life had been sucked out of him. They were gentle and caring and very reasonable on their prices. I will definitely be continuing my care with this office.

This is not my regular veterinarian (my dogs seem to get sick on his off days), but he is excellent. Shows genuine concern and is easy to talk with. I have brought two of my dogs to him when they were both sick and if I didn't like my primary vet, then I would switch. I would highly recommend this veterinary clinic.

I would never take my animals to this clinic! Very unprofessional, rude, and in some cases abusive towards animals if they misbehave. Also check out where your dog is being "walked" in an overgrown ya...

I really do love this office. I travel alot and I am unable to take my cat. They take good care of him and their service is very affordable.

I take both my dogs to him, and I have never been let down. They may have a smaller office but it is fully of love for animals. I highly recommend them!

Dr Moshell was just amazing today! I had an emergency with my little dog and my own vet whom I have been seeing for 5 years refused to see me. They were "booked" for today. I was having an emergency with my cat, I rushed him to my (then) vet, Animal General, but it was 5:35 and they told me the veterinarians had already left & they couldn't help Oscar (my kitty). This is not my regular veterinarian (my dogs seem to get sick on his off days), but he is excellent. Shows genuine concern and is easy to talk with. I have brought two of my dogs to him when they were both sick and if I didn't like my primary vet, then I would switch. I would highly recommend this veterinary clinic.
