Dr. Montgomery is worth the 75 Min. drive from Atlanta. He cares for our German Shepherd, informs us of breed specific concerns we need to be on the lookout for and even diagnosed his wheat allergy. Our younger dog is a handful and often requires a lot of apologies and muzzling, and Dr. Tim is able to calm her down and provide care without incident. We use Dacula Animal hospital for routine care and for the occasional emergency. After our younger dog stepped on a glass bottle on a late evening walk, we took her to the closest vet hospital in Atlanta. This office suggested an X-ray, surgery, a minimum stay if 3 days post op and a few more expensive items I can’t remember. The trip would have cost us over $8000 ( convenience and fear fee). We decided to make the trip to Dacula. As soon as we arrived, Dr. Montgomery assured us that lacerated paws are very “bloody” (half of our fear that her injury was worse than it was because it was so bloody). He recommended stitching it up and she was back home to us later that afternoon. We cannot say enough positive things about the wonderful care we receive for our fur family and are thankful to Dr. Tim for his hands on care. Read Less

I have used Dacula Animal Hospital for many years with various pets that I have had thru the years... I could not ask for better service from Dr. Montgomery and his staff. Always answers my questions, has no oppositions to my trying to find meds cheaper, is willing to write a script for me to take with me. The staffs sympathy and concern over several of my pets that I have lost over time is overwhelming. I would trust Dacula Animal Hospital at any time for their decisions and opinions. Read Less

Dr. Montgomery and his assistant, the older man, were so amazing with my German Shepard! He was treated for double ruptured ear drums and the service that was provided was beyond what I expected. They treated me and my baby with care and compassion. The Dr and his assistant took the time to educate me on various food allergies my dog was suffering from. He even offered his email to me to be able to contact him if I had any questions at the store when buying food. It was clear that they truly care about their patients. He prescribed about 4 medications that I thought were going to cost a fortune after my visit but ended up being so affordable and I was able to get them right there from them !!! I was so happy and thankful-they were able to get me in right away and would recommend this vet to anyone ! Read Less

We have three miniature schnauzers and they are now a year old. They all started going here since the day they arrived in our home. We have had many different questions and issues along the way with each baby. Dr Montgomery and Dr Childers has never steered us wrong. They have always been there for us and the babies. There aren't enough words to describe just how wonderful Dacula Animal Hospital is. We started going there in 2005 when we lived in Dacula, and have since moved out of the area. We would never take our pets anywhere else, no matter how far we lived from Dacula. You will never find Doctors and staff who care as much as they do about your pets. They treat them as if they were their own, and the love they show to them is immeasurable! I would recommend that anyone looking for a vet, or even if you currently have one, to try Dacula Animal Hospital. I promise that once you do, you will never go anywhere else. Dr. Tim and his staff are the most kind hearted and compassionate people around. In the last 6 months, we have had 2 crises. The first involved a hit and run on our 1 1/2 yr old puppy. Dr. Tim set our minds at ease and could have done xrays and other costly things. But he explained her injuries and, while severe, not life threatening. Sadly, the 2nd visit involved our 13 yr old labrador. But their compassion and gentleness enabled us to say goodbye to her with dignity. You won't find a better group of Dr.'s for your beloved pets. We have been taking our pets to Dacula Animal Hospital for over 26 years. This includes 4 dogs, 2 cats, and 1 bunny. Everyone who works there is kind and loves on our pets when we are there. Dr. Montgomery has performed miracles! He keeps current on veterinarian meds, etc. and takes his time in explaining everything to you. I have seen him (more than once) walk into the exam room and know exactly what was going on with my pet before he even ran the test. I have recommended him to several friends, and they all agree he is amazing. I can't imagine taking my fur babies anywhere else. Read Less
