I've only been here once, but the staff were incredibly professional and didn't try to push any services. The Vet Tech and Vet handled my cat gently and showed a lot of care and thoughtfulness to her. The office has individual rooms as well where I could take my cat so she could walk around while I filled out paperwork so she didn't have to be around dogs.Read Less

Super clean facility.  It doesn't even smell like a vet's office.  They were gracious when one of my dogs recently passed - they stayed open during lunch so I could bring him in for cremation.  I had never been to them until that day.  Yesterday when I couldn't get one of my other dogs to my regular vet they saw me quickly and did a wonderful job on his eye that had a complication from a recent surgery.  Patient, kind and thorough.  I can't recommend them highly enough. We found HMAH and Dr. Fulmer when our greyhound had an emergency issue with her eye. Our girl, who hates the vet, LOVES Dr. Fulmer and the staff...so much that she actually laid down in the office (that NEVER happens)! The staff treats her with such care and compassion, just like she's their own. She ended up being diagnosed with Glaucoma, and Dr. Fulmer has been amazing; he treats Tizzy like she is his own, answers any questions we have, and is conservative and realistic with her treatment options. He even stayed late with us one day to be sure he had a specialist consult on her case. In all the years of being a pet owner, I have never had a vet who is as thorough or the staff love what they do as much as HMAH. I highly recommend them, and we will go nowhere else! Read Less

The staff and doctors were very nice and kept us up to date on what was going on with our cat. They kept him over night with antibiotics and pain meds and did the surgery the next morning so someone would be able to watch him afterwards due to his age. We've just started taking our pets there. We've also uses them to board our black lab. The new facility is very nice. Service was quick with very little wait. Front staff is nice and friendly. Dr. Jay and Dr. Amy have always taken incredible care of my boxer, Winston. I got him at 4 months old and he has been in their care ever sense. I still drive from Athens where I'm a student at UGA to Buford for them! From puppy shots, to demodex treatment, to neuter and check ups, they have always provided excellent care. We have been going to Hamilton Mill Animal hospital for the past 13 years. Even with owner changes, the doctors we have seen have always been wonderful to our two brat dogs. Zeke and Zora always love to go in to visit. Through the sickness and passing of our wonderful boy Zeke 2 weeks ago, Dr. Flowers went above and beyond in his care. Dr. G and staff are WONDERFUL... I got a new puppy and he helped me set up when to get "Bella's" shots, meds, and ect. Helped me with many tips on potty training and even had a puppy grooming appointment ready for me the very next day. His prices were VERY REASONABLE. Not just that, when I picked up "Bella" after her first puppy cut....she seamed like she was so happy and probably even enjoyed her time at the groomer in the vets office.
