Doc Corry and his team are wonderful! They treated my sick kitty like it was their family pet. The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable. This is the worst animal hospital and I use that term loosely, ever. They not only changed our dog's quality of life forever but tried to cover up their error by omission, lying then finally admitting it to us when my husband went to the clinic to speak with the owner Larry Corry. Not that we would not pay it a million times over to go back in time but then they still charged for the additional cost for the procedure they told me was better for her! I wish I had not cared so much as to agree to what they told me was a better option for her. In the end they made it the worst possible option I can think of. They burned her face and nose beyond recognition with a laser. If I could post a photo I would for documentation purposes. Ironically it was done on a Memorial Day weekend. After our third bad experience, we won't be taking our dog here ever again. The staff seem bothered when you walk in the door. No welcome or greeting. The office manager is very short with you and their boarding practices make no sense. My dog has contracted kennel cough from here as well as been given unauthorized shots. In addition, they hide/remove bad reviews from Facebook leaving an unrealistic rating and unreliable reviews. I belive the few good reviews that exist are written by staff and their families. I've even reached out to the owner to discuss my concerns with their practices and he's never responded. Go to Banfield! It may save your pets life! Read Less

I can recall when we had to have our beloved Sebastian put to sleep because he had cancer. It was just before Christmas - when the doctor offered to give us some medicine to keep him comfortable through the holidays. In my book that was one in million to offer such a thing. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!! If I could leave zero stars, I would! I suspect that many of the reviews on here are fake (since I know this to be true about their yelp reviews). They were downright cruel to my dogs and 3 large men laid on top of my 4 month old puppy for a NAIL TRIM. I could hear her screeching and crying down the hall. She is now a year old and will not let anyone touch her paws. The vet was completely incompetent and could not be bothered to remember that my dogs are both female. This wouldn't normally bother me, but we were discussing fixing my puppy!!! I told a friend about our horrible experience here and she said that she works at a school down the road from here and she can hear animals screeching and yelping when she is at recess with her class. There are also reviews that have been buried under fake reviews where people complain about their pets coming home with infections and one woman's dog came home from boarding here with rope burns around her dog's neck!!! Stay far far away from these animal abusers! This is the review that has been buried in their yelp profle (this isn't my experience, but another woman who had a terrible experience here): I recently boarded my dog here, and I was a bit apprehensive after reading another reviewer mention their dog always got bladder infections when staying here. I decided to give them a try anyway, as I was short on time. I very much regret boarding my dog here. She has a very bad bladder infection, but it didn't come on right away. It was a couple days after I brought her home that I became concerned. Today she's been feeling terrible, but I'm treating her and she's slowly improving (for those of you who are wondering). I won't be darkening their door ever again, and I hope this review helps others avoid this sort of situation. UPDATE A MONTH LATER We have come to the conclusion that my dog was abused at this vet. When she started having trouble eating, we took her to another vet, and he verified that she had a rope burn on her throat and that her tracheal cartilage could have been damaged. He prescribed steroids, and they seem to be helping a lot. That is not the only sign of abuse, however. She has been shy of the leash, acted frightened of things she never had problems with before (like a water bottle), and has had problems with her hind legs. Sometimes she hasn't been able to potty because she couldn't support herself. Today she had problems walking at all. This is a very well-adjusted, well-trained and healthy dog. Before all of this, she was NEVER sick and was always happy. Someone at that vet must have simply terrorized her. We've seen it in her eyes, her manner, and her reactions. My family has suffered so much heartache seeing her going through all of this, and we don't want anyone else to go through it. Read Less

Some of the staff are nice and my animals seem to be treated decently. They have unnecessary policies regarding vaccinations and fecal exams for boarding. I've got a BS in animal science, worked at Veterinary schools and Medical schools, and been a vet tech for almost 24 years. Never seen policies like these. I just picked up my dog at 4 PM instead of noon and was charged for an entire another night, $22 for four hours. Just wow. I'm searching for a new boarding kennel and  veterinarian. Read Less

I absolutely love the Dr. and all of the staff. Each on went out of their way to make our experience the very best. Out little French Bulldog, "Minnie Pearl" has stayed with them on several occasions while we vacationed. They love and take great care of the little ones! My old vet of 10 years left his practice so I was frantic to find a good replacement for my fur babies. Hog Mountain came highly recommended from my neighbors and they were more than right. Dr. Young and the staff took great care of my aging Doberman. I feel like they were truly concerned with what was best for her now and in the future and weren't trying to just make money by pulling my heart strings. It always seems to amaze me just how kind and approachable they are. I've had surgeries done on my pet as well as wellness exams and they always did an excellent job. We LOVE Hog Mountain Animal Hospital! They take care of our two dogs, and Dr. Corry is absolutely wonderful. His expertise and experience combine with his compassion to give our dogs exceptional veterinary care. Our dogs also LOVE going to their doggie daycare. When they arrive, Daisy and Lucy tumble over each other to get into the door, and they come home tuckered out from a day of fun. It's also so convenient to schedule their (excellent!) grooming service or simple well-care vet visits while the dogs are at daycare too. The staff is the best I've ever seen at a vet. I tried many clinics after moving from a small town where my dogs' vet was one of my high school classmates. I wanted a vet who provided top-notch care yet was friendly and would listen to my concerns. I found that at Hog Mountain, especially in Dr. Amy Young. She has a great personality and it's easy to see she loves her work! My dogs are seniors, and Dr. Young quickly diagnosed some problems after listening to my explanation of the things I was seeing at home. I've boarded my dogs and have now begun to use the grooming services there. Everyone has gone above and beyond to make me and my dogs feel at home! I never thought I'd find a clinic that would rival my former one, but Hog Mountain Animal Hospital and Dr. Young have done just that! I highly recommend them!Read Less

Great vet's office for my three dogs! Love these guys! They always go above and beyond for my fur babies and provide quality care whenever I need them boarded. I've been using them for the last four years after switching over from a higher priced vet's office that provided the same quality of care. I have been taking my animals to this vet for about 13 years and I couldn't be happier with them! Always feel welcomed when we walk in the door because they know all my pets names. If not for Dr. Fulmer, my Great Dane/German Sheppard mix would not be alive today.
