I left my cat for shots and boarding while I took my parents on vacation. My cat is 10 years old and had never been boarded before. I was afraid she would not do well. The front desk staff are awsome! Then the Doctor was the sweetest Veterinarian I have ever had the honor to meet! My daughter puppy that she just got began getting sick fast so we took her to Dalton Animal... They already knew she wouldn't make it threw the night. The doctor stepped in when he did not have to! Dr. E is great!!! He always answers my crazy questions and dialogues openly about options and techniques. I like that I can count on him to help me make the best decisions for my babies (puppy dogs). The staff at Dalton Animal Care North always take excellent care of our dogs. The doctors are extremely knowledgeable as well as friendly and compassionate. I love that they always call to check up on my dog after an office visit. Had my first experience there today with my puppy who thought it would be a good idea to chew up a bottle of ibuprofen, they saw him right away and were so sweet and comforting with my pup. R I P to my sweet fur baby Herman. They told us a while back that she only had a few weeks to live so I am very grateful for the time that we have had with her. So very blessed to have such a wonderful vet Dr. Chris Stearns who came in on his day off today and so compassionately helped us in our time of need. Took our Tobi. here when he was suffering from a bout of giardia. They were great. They took him right in,done in house testing,and had a diagnosis and treatment plan in no time. Now he is almost 100% recovered. We take all our animals here. We love them. Read Less

This is not a review to say I'm hateful or didn't like this vet but these people are terrible at their job. I have taken two of my dogs in deadly situations and all thy did was charge me more than 500 dollars and told me to put them down. Off course I didn't instead I took them to Chattanooga and yes they charged me a lot of money but they saved both of my dogs. They are healthy an alive. I'm writing this because my sister'a dog was beaten by bees and she took him there. She didn't know any better and the dog was fine, he just needed proper care but instead of that they told her to put him down. They didn't even check him. Off course she did it since she thought they were doing everything but they didn't. They didn't even try, they just want to get money and put all dogs down. Don't take your pets here if they are sick. Take them if they need shots because that's all they know how to do. I will never take my pets here ever again. There is a very nice place in Chattanooga and in Calhoun don't take them to Dalton vets ever again Read Less

Do not use this vet clinic, they mis-diagnose or have no diagnosis, and are costly. I lost one pet to their diagnosis, had to spend over $1,000 on a dog before they got it right, and have spent over $350 on another dog who is still not diagnosed, so we buy drugs for pain and swelling in a leg. If you have to go here, ask for Dr. Moore, otherwise find another vet.terrible place Read Less
