The office opens at 9am and closes at 6pm. The vet is friendly and knowledgeable and it's a clean office that being said none of these qualities are of any use. I have your typical busy family with kids, work, college and all the other fun stuff that comes with being an adult so needless to say when I found out this office takes walk-ins I was ready to give it a try because in my experience an appointment means arrive about 15 minutes early and wait until about 30 minutes after the appointment time and we'll get to you when we can. We own 3 inside cats that only require flea drops routinely. We are tying a new product recommend by this vet that only has to be given once every 3 months but it requires an exam once a year before it can be given to the cat. This was my second time visiting the office. The first time I went it was around 1pm and we waited about 30 to 45 minutes for the vets to get back from lunch no big deal I was a walk-in and figured bad timing. My second visit was for a different cat but for the same product so I needed an exam. This time I walked in just before 12p and was told the vets are leaving for lunch but that I could bring my cat back when the vets get back from lunch at 2pm. Recap good office but if you enjoy the benefits of actually seeing the vet over pretty stuff in the office find another vet. If your availability is not 9a-11a or 2p-6p find another vet. It might be different if you are a dog owner but it's not likely given the fact that the office is free of customers. I can only assume this type of poor service drives customers away. Read Less

Very friendly staff. Vets are helpful and will take time to answer any questions you have. Also have great boarding. Staff will play with your pet. I was impressed they knew my dogs name at sight. Read Less

I'm beyond furious with the dalton animal care.My furbaby of 9 years went in for an emergency surgery we were updated after the surgery at 1500 that he was doing well. The the next day after they opened they called about 0815 and told us he passed away. They never kept us updated on his condition on if he was waking up normally from surgery or not. Which they stated he was having a hard time waking up from anesthesia, I understand things happen. I don't blame them from him ...passing but for not keeping me updated. Now, we had him cremated and we have been waiting on updates as to when we can pick him up and then pay his balance. We have not had any as of yet and again I understand it takes time. Yet they can send me a condolence card along with the bill for what I owe them yet they can't even give me a simple phone call to keep me updated on the status of my baby who I will never get to hold again. It has not even been and week since he passed away but they sure as hell sent that bill out along with the condolence card. Any place that charges 250 bucks to spay an animal plus the cost of mandatory vaccination is completely inexcusable no matter how good the service. Save yourself some serious coin and go *anywhere* else if you can. Offices that gouge people who don't know better don't deserve to be open, smiles or not. So after a very long and emotional day, Sassy and her babies are glad to be home. She had to have an emergency C-section due to a puppy being breach. We did loose little camo jr but are still blessed with 8 healthy puppies. These are our miracles babies and I cant wait to watch them grow. The drs even fixed her while they were in there. Dr E examined Coltrane for the first time. He was very thorough. He was patient, answered questions, and was interested in him. He is the only Dr that noticed and questioned his growths near his anus. Very impressed for a first visit. I really like Dr E. He took care of Zipper when he was near death. He is always interested, listens, provides suggestions and referred us to the RIVER. Dr Davis is good. She is patient, interested, makes suggestions and listens. Dr. E is great!!! He always answers my crazy questions and dialogues openly about options and techniques. I like that I can count on him to help me make the best decisions for my babies (puppy dogs). The staff at Dalton Animal Care North always take excellent care of our dogs. The doctors are extremely knowledgeable as well as friendly and compassionate. I love that they always call to check up on my dog after an office visit. It's great to have a group of doctors that I trust to care for my dogs, and the Cleveland Hwy location is perfect for us as it is close to home. The staff at Dalton Animal Care is way beyond great. I love them all to the moon and back. They are concerned and caring and go out of their way to provide great care. R I P to my sweet fur baby Herman. They told us a while back that she only had a few weeks to live so I am very grateful for the time that we have had with her. So very blessed to have such a wonderful vet Dr. Chris Stearns who came in on his day off today and so compassionately helped us in our time of need. I had switched my service to Dalton Animal Care North about 2 to 3 years ago. I am so glad I did. You don't feel like you are just a number. They are all so welcoming of not just me but of my furry family. And you can tell they genuinely care about your pets needs. I had to put my Schnauzer down after 10 years due to cancer. They were so compassionate and understanding. When he was first diagnosed, they told me what to expect and said to call if I had any more questions. When it was time to put my dog down, they gave me all the time I needed with him. They understood how hard it was for me and I even received a sympathy card afterwards. I have since taken my son's pet there and they are just wonderful with him and my very active son who likes to talk to everyone and ask questions. The Veterinarians and Techs are so friendly at Dalton Animal Care. They always greet me and my dog with smiles and a scratch on the head for him. Whenever I go in for treatment for my dog, I always get a courtesy "check-up" call from the Veterinarian the next day to check on him. I really like that, it lets me know that they genuinely care for the well being of my dog. My dog doesn't like getting his nails clipped and they know how to keep him under control without being mean to him. I live 30 minutes away from their clinic and could go to much closer clinics, but I know that I get excellent care there.Read Less
