Dr. Phillips is GREAT she is very understanding and truely cares about animals and their owners, I have been my pups to her for years, she even called on Christmas day and asked if we wanted to see our little cocker spaniel that had gotten sick, since it was Christmas, she took time from her family so we could visit with our little girl. She's a God send and a Great Doctor for our animals!! Thank you so much Dr. Phillips!!! Read Less

This is by far the best veterinary hospital I've ever taken my companions to for care. Dr Phillips is an amazing veterinarian who genuinely cares about you your pet. She routinely goes above & beyond for my 18 year old cat Oscar, as well as my other pets. 3 years ago my previous vet, 2 emergency clinics & even the prestigious UGA veterinary hospital wrote Oscar off, saying he was 15 & old & it was just his time. Not Dr Phillips- she listened. And she diagnosed what the other 4 all had missed. Oscar is with me today because of her, & I will never, ever take any pet of mine to another vet. Hats off to her & the entire staff! Read Less

I could not be happier with the 15 years that I have worked with Dr. Phillips. She has always been available and compassionate for both of our pets. When I recently had to say goodbye to our dog of fifteen years, Dr. Phillips was not only sympathetic and loving to him, she understood the grief we were feeling and explained everything step by step, and made sure we were ok. I will continue to drive the 60+ miles to support her and her team. Read Less

These people are a bunch of liars and crooks. First, I took one of my dams in after a trip to Texas where she got dehydrated. The vet there told me she had an infection in her uterus during the exam, after I told her she had just come off her heat, having done no bloodwork whatsoever. She talked me into having her uterus removed which I allowed not knowing any better. Afterwards the vet told me she would like to hang onto her a few days for observation since her uterus wasn't infected as much as she though. She as much admitted to me in so many words that her uterus was not what was wrong with her! But she still charged me over $500.00 for the operation.Today I took all three of my dogs in for their rabies 3 year rabies vaccinations which were due on the 31st of December, today is the 6th of January. I was told that they could not give them the three year vaccinations because I had let their shots elapse... by six days! And that they would have to by law give them the one year shot instead. Then they charged my $96.48 for the shots.I came home and got on the computer and then called three other Vets in the area and they all told me the same exact thing, that you can continue the three years shots as long as you don't let them lapse for more than two months. This of course would force me to come back in for another $96.00 visit in a year instead of waiting for three years. Also, the three year shots from the previous visit for all three dogs was only $63.00 three years ago. Now they wanted almost a $100.00 for the one year shot today. Stay away from these people they don't have your pet's or your best interest at heart! Read Less

Allison Phillip will lie to you about your pets health. She told us in 2007 that our dog had heart worms and needed a $800 heart operation to remove the worms. She warned us that our dog would die very soon if we don't get it. We got advice from a second source and was told all our dog needed was some HeartGuard. It's almost 10 years later and our dog is still healthy and happy and never has had a sign of heart worms.Read Less

I met Dr. Philips and her staff a few years ago when I came in with a very ill puppy. She accepted my calls at home while I nursed him back to health from Parvo. Without her help, he would most certainly not be here today. I have since taken my other animals to her and she has provided awesome care as well as compassion. She really does love animals and seems to enjoy her job. She knows my family by name and is always available for questions or concerns. I would recommend her to anyone.Read Less
