Hall and Barrs is the best practice for my family of cats. They do not try to up sell all the time, and allow me to do treatments at home that I am comfortable doing instead of charging an arm and leg such as cleaning a large abscess that one of my cats had, it looked bad but I am capable of cleaning out a wound after the initial antibiotic support and cleaning and let it heal versus surgery to close it I let nature heal it naturally over the long term.They are compassionate,I started with an emergency trip to a 24 hour vet after my cat broke his leg after being hit by a car 9 years ago. the emergency room visit to just stabilize the leg was over 700 , then they told me to come back in morning and I would be facing another 1200 to set and pin his leg. Someone told me to call Hall and Barrs in the morning. They took care of Shorty He was neutered and his leg fixed for less than 500. I will drive the additional miles to only use them. I love Dr.Hall , but Barrs not so much. He practically called my aunt stupid . Saying she didn't know what she was talking about. He ( Barrs) didn't do anything for my dog after he got into a poisonous plant . He didn't treat him. They called and told us te next morning that he died. My mom went and got our dog . He was in a cage dead at their office with many other sick dogs. SMH!Read Less

Dr. Hall and Dr. Barrs are 2 of the most caring veterinarians I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Years ago my 9 week old Doberman was choking on a small piece of chicken. It was about 9:00 at night. I was calling everywhere to get help, constantly trying to get it out or push it down. Dr. Barrs called me back in less than a minute and he talked me through it.(no other vet called me back) She was dying and because of him, she lived. I am still very appreciative to him for calling me back so quickly. Dr. Barrs figured out my dog has an autoimmune disease in 1 visit. After I had spent over 300.00 and several visits to a clinic in Dublin that just wanted to keep doing test after test. He also will send her medication through the mail so I don't have to drive the distance. Dr. Hall trimmed my Doberman's ears for me and they could not be anymore perfect. And finally...my dog was bitten by a snake today. I could not even speak to a vet in Dublin. One would not even call me back. I called Dr. Hall and he was on the phone in a matter of seconds. He answered all of my questions and put my mind at ease. (it was not poisonous) I am so very thankful to both of them for caring so much about people and their animals.
