Not the worst, but assuredly not the best. I went to take my aging dachshund for a senior check up, and while the doctor was quick to perform a practiced speech for idiots explaining what a heart murmur is, he was not quick to call a vet tech to assist in the drawing of blood for lab work. Instead (first time I have EVER been asked to do this), the vet requested that I hold my dog's neck while he drew blood. When he failed to do so on the right, we switched to the left. He resulted in poking her unsuccessfully about 3 or 4 times. I did not realize at the time it would create a bruise on her neck that would look like she was strangled. Worse, was that a few moments after, a vet tech appears (should have been his job to draw blood) and the vet proceeds to tell me how the vet tech was on cloud nine because of a recent nephew being born. This doctor needs to have his minds on his patients.
Long story short, my first sign should have been the actual forest in the lobby of 30 year old plants, as well as the aged and dried-up aquariums occupying the same space. This place has seen better days and it seems that the adage is true, leadership comes from the top down. The vet seemed antiquated and checked out, so his business reflected that.

I Took Him To Dr. Grant & He Found Out That Rocco Had Kidney Stones & He Performed Emergency Surgery On Him & Kept Me Updated The Entire Way About Recovery. Also, When It Was a Time To Pay He Kept The Entire Bill Very Cost Efficicent & Even Lectured Me On How To Care For Rocco And Some Warning Signs To Look Out For. I board my dog Akira here frequently because they are well priced and I know my dog is in good hands. I usually get vet issues handled elsewhere simply because of cost however I recently had a mass removed from my dog and I am beyond pleased with what I was charged and with the results. This mass was beginning to get large and was on my dogs head. they removed it and it’s only been a couple days and it’s already healing up very well and I’m extremely pleased with the doctors work. Not to mention the Dr. Grant was simply trying to tell me that I needed to get the mass removed sooner than later so I inquired about cost and everything that went along with the procedure. He was not trying to rack up a bill he was not trying to sell me anything he was simply giving me information about my dog and steps and I would’ve eventually needed to take and that’s what I appreciate the most, when a Dr. approaches a situation in that manner it makes me more willing to spend my money knowing they arent looking for me to do so. With so many places that will write you up for things you don’t really need here is not one of them. The moral of the story is I originally went in to drop my dog off to be boarded and I left deciding that I was going to get her surgery and I’m so happy I decided to do so.

He makes it a point to explain every treatment, suggestion, or procedure to us in full so that we understand. He does not rush us and we are able to ask as many questions as we need to so that we are all on the same page. Dr. Grant is an amazing vet who truly cares about his patients and he keeps his prices affordable so that even the most expensive procedures are attainable. Awesome! Dr. Grant at Coral Sands is the best. I have been frequenting his office for as long as he has been there, 20 plus years. I moved to South Georgia about 5 years ago and I still drive 5 hours back to the Atlanta area to take my pets to this clinic. I recently had an emergency situation and as usual Dr. Grant had my back. In the 25 years that I raised and showed dogs I have never found another Veterinarian that respected my knowledge and judgement about my pets the way Dr. Grant does, and I appreciate that. My kitten needed blood work as he suggested but when it came time to draw blood he wouldn't let me be present. Did he draw blood or just act like he did? Instead he took her to the back and brought back two bottles of blood. He said he would get back to me in 2 hours instead it was four. My kitten had just gave birth to three kittens and only one lived. So when I called to ask about syringes for feeding the newborn kitten I was told he would get back to me. I called the 3rd time and the same thing. If you look at the other reviews why are they anonymous? He seemed like a nice guy but there is a lack of communication and I feel he neglects to keep up with I a new local customer.

Not the worst, but assuredly not the best. I went to take my aging dachshund for a senior check up, and while the doctor was quick to perform a practiced speech for idiots explaining what a heart murmur is, he was not quick to call a vet tech to assist in the drawing of blood for lab work. Instead (first time I have EVER been asked to do this), the vet requested that I hold my dog's neck while he drew blood. When he failed to do so on the right, we switched to the left. He resulted in poking her unsuccessfully about 3 or 4 times. I did not realize at the time it would create a bruise on her neck that would look like she was strangled. Worse, was that a few moments after, a vet tech appears (should have been his job to draw blood) and the vet proceeds to tell me how the vet tech was on cloud nine because of a recent nephew being born. This doctor needs to have his minds on his patients.
Long story short, my first sign should have been the actual forest in the lobby of 30 year old plants, as well as the aged and dried-up aquariums occupying the same space. This place has seen better days and it seems that the adage is true, leadership comes from the top down. The vet seemed antiquated and checked out, so his business reflected that.

Dr. Grant & His Staff Are Great & The Prices Are Extremely Affordable!! I Have A Mini Dachshund Named Rocco. One Day He Became Severely ill & Wouldn’t Eat & Could Barely Go To The Bathroom. I Took Him To Dr. Grant & He Found Out That Rocco Had Kidney Stones & He Performed Emergency Surgery On Him & Kept Me Updated The Entire Way About Recovery. Also, When It Was a Time To Pay He Kept The Entire Bill Very Cost Efficicent & Even Lectured Me On How To Care For Rocco And Some Warning Signs To Look Out For. I board my dog Akira here frequently because they are well priced and I know my dog is in good hands. I usually get vet issues handled elsewhere simply because of cost however I recently had a mass removed from my dog and I am beyond pleased with what I was charged and with the results. This mass was beginning to get large and was on my dogs head. they removed it and it’s only been a couple days and it’s already healing up very well and I’m extremely pleased with the doctors work. Not to mention the Dr. Grant was simply trying to tell me that I needed to get the mass removed sooner than later so I inquired about cost and everything that went along with the procedure. He was not trying to rack up a bill he was not trying to sell me anything he was simply giving me information about my dog and steps and I would’ve eventually needed to take and that’s what I appreciate the most, when a Dr. approaches a situation in that manner it makes me more willing to spend my money knowing they arent looking for me to do so. With so many places that will write you up for things you don’t really need here is not one of them. The moral of the story is I originally went in to drop my dog off to be boarded and I left deciding that I was going to get her surgery and I’m so happy I decided to do so.

I recently had to have my fur baby euthanized and he walked my family and I through the process and fought hard with us prior to making this hard decision. I moved two years ago farther away from Coral Sands. It is a bit of a drive now yet still the only place where I TRUST pet care and receive bar none customer service!

We love Dr. Grant and his staff. Dr. Grant has been the only vet that our (almost) 4 year old German Shepherd has gone to. She loves Dr. Grant and his family. He makes it a point to explain every treatment, suggestion, or procedure to us in full so that we understand. He does not rush us and we are able to ask as many questions as we need to so that we are all on the same page. Dr. Grant is an amazing vet who truly cares about his patients and he keeps his prices affordable so that even the most expensive procedures are attainable. We highly recommend Coral Sands; we will never go anywhere else as long as we can help it.

Awesome! Dr. Grant at Coral Sands is the best. I have been frequenting his office for as long as he has been there, 20 plus years. I moved to South Georgia about 5 years ago and I still drive 5 hours back to the Atlanta area to take my pets to this clinic. I recently had an emergency situation and as usual Dr. Grant had my back. In the 25 years that I raised and showed dogs I have never found another Veterinarian that respected my knowledge and judgement about my pets the way Dr. Grant does, and I appreciate that. I brought my 10 month old kitten in for an exam and he didn't seem animal friendly. The office seemed dark, stuffy and dated although the prices were affordable. My kitten needed blood work as he suggested but when it came time to draw blood he wouldn't let me be present. Did he draw blood or just act like he did? Instead he took her to the back and brought back two bottles of blood. He said he would get back to me in 2 hours instead it was four. My kitten had just gave birth to three kittens and only one lived. So when I called to ask about syringes for feeding the newborn kitten I was told he would get back to me. I called the 3rd time and the same thing. If you look at the other reviews why are they anonymous? He seemed like a nice guy but there is a lack of communication and I feel he neglects to keep up with I a new local customer.
