Beautiful decor with awesome people! I recently just changed to this Vet Clinic and couldn't be happier. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I have two dogs, one of which has gone in for her yearly and the other that needed to be seen due to an ear infection. The yearly appointment went great; I was seen at my appointment time and was asked what I felt was needed for my dog. The Vet Tech was very approachable and answered any and all questions I had about prices or procedures. The ear infection visit went without a hitch, even though I unknowingly came in 20 minutes before they closed, without an appointment. The staff was quick to see me and didn't show they were irritated at all I was there after closing. Not only is the Vet amazing, but entire staff is so caring. They take wonderful care of my dogs whether just a check up, surgery, or boarding. They allow my dogs to stay together and that helps with separation anxiety. They always update me regarding their stay. Can drop in to get my dogs nails trimmed without an appointment. A wonderful vet and team. Dr. Ray has been caring for my two cavaliers for 7 years. When one of my dogs recently developed a tumor, with only 1 to 2 months to live Dr. Ray and Abby were amazing. We have been bringing our babies to this vet for several years and recently Dr. Ray has been caring for our two elderly pets. Both are experiencing end of life issues. Dr. Ray has been super sweet and caring but at the same time very upfront about what can and can not be done for our babies. I can not begin to tell you how thankful we are that she has never tried to get us to spend money on "false hopes" remedies or tests. It's hard enough to have to deal with not just one but two pets that we love dearly and that the only treatment at this point is to make them comfortable, but to have a vet that you can trust to help you do what is best for your pet and not their bottom line is a Godsend. She has also been very up front with us about what we need to watch out for that will tell us it's time to do what's best for our pets and not what is easiest for us. The staff here are true animal lovers! They take the time with pet owners to explain anything. I bring my three dogs, and my fiance's mom's puppy. They are friendly and loving toward all of my dogs. They will give you your options of care and don't pressure you into unnecessary health care options. The grooming service is economical and awesome! The dogs always come out neat and smelling great! I am dropping all four dogs off soon for boarding. They gave me a tour of the back, where the dogs will be kept. They even allow same family dogs to bunk together in a suite! THE BEST VET! My only complaint is that the outcome wasn't as good as I had hoped for. My old boxer had a mass and it's inoperable. The staff and doctors were very compassionate and took the time to explain everything as well as they could. My next trip will be to put her down and I know from other experiences that they will still be most considerate to myself and Dolly. Three weeks later now and I had to have my boxer (Dolly) put down. I have never in my life (and I'm 70) experienced a more professional and/or caring group of people. I felt like they really cared and was with me when my Dolly took her last breath. Dr Ray is awesome! Her staff concerned - kind and as soon as I say "I'm calling about Hooch" their whole demeanor changes and they say - "how is that handsome boy?" Hooch has a disease that is not curable but treatable. we spent two years at another vet spent a fortune and no success. Changed to Dr Ray about one year ago - the change in Hooch is unreal - still not curable but he is happy and last year at this time we thought he woud not be around - he is on a pricey med but well worth it for our happy boy! Cat had surgery a few years ago and was told by the vet he would be on prescription food for the rest of his life for his kidney issue. Petsmart doesn't do a forever prescription so I have to keep asking for them to send a prescription and I call for an updated prescription and they tell me since they haven't seen my cat for along time they can not give me a presription when they are the ones who told me he would be on it forever but now they won't give me a prescription. Never had issues until now. Glad we moved from near them. We have found a better Vet who we won't have these issues. They should have said he has to be seen however many times a year to keep a prescription. So does he really need to be on it forever. Read Less

This office sold me a years supply of flea/tick & heartworm medication with a promise of a $50 rebate, paperwork for which would be submitted by them (to the drug company offering the rebate). All I was to do was wait 6 weeks for the check. Of course no check, many phone calls where I was told to wait a little longer and, finally, after I contacted the drug company (because they refused to), I learned that the paperwork was never submitted. The drug company contacted the vet & got the process going. The next day (today) I received an email from the drug company stating that my $35 rebate (NOT $50) was on its way. This was our family vet.  I went in to purchase some Heartguard and Nextguard and was told if I bought a one year supply, I would receive a $50 rebate.  This was in April of 2016.  It's currently November 1, 2016.  I asked who I should submit the request for the rebate to and they said, "Oh, we handle that for you."I called Fayetteville Animal Hospital many times in the interim and have been told that "it takes a while."  (First they said 1 month, then 6 weeks, then 10 weeks, then 3 months, then up to 6 months.)Today I called and they said they would resubmit the paperwork (to the provider of the medication, and the handler of the rebate), and I'd have to wait up to 10 weeks to receive it.They said that since THEY don't issue the rebate, I'D have to contact the providing company (which I did - they're looking into it).  Don't ask me why THEY wouldn't call the provider!?Now, I'll be researching other veterinary clinics in my area.  Very nice to have a place to vent. I adopted a dog from a rescue organization a few months back. She was vetted here but it's too far from my house and we needed h/w prevention. I called, explained the situation (we changed her name), and was assured that if I ordered through Petmeds they would approve the request. I even gave the woman my info so there would be no confusion. Lo and behold, they denied the request. I ended up having to pay for a whole new heartworm test at a local vet.Read Less

I cannot recommend a vet hospital higher than Fayetteville. When we rescued Tiberius every vet thought that his wounds were so extensive that he should be put down. Dr.Ray and Erin fought for him and saved his life. Tiberius now has an incredible life. I will now take all of my dogs to this hospital even though it is over an hour away. It is worth the drive. I would recommend the Fayetteville Animal hospital to my friends and family. I brought my puppy in for parvo after I took her out of the Southern Crescent Animal Emergency Clinic. She was really looking bad even after the weekend care at the Clinic. They cared for my puppy for three days. I called every day to check up on her and they kept telling me she was improving but slowly, I really wanted to take her home but they said she was too sick to go home. When the day she was discharged, I had to be out of town, so my niece had to pick her up and do home care for her. I came back home to a puppy that was close to death to a happy puppy. While we lived in Fayetteville, our Boxer had 3 times that tumors(mast cell) needed to be removed. Dr. Ray has been very supportive during all of these experiences. Even now that we have moved to Atlanta, we still drive down for Dr. Ray to examine her. She is very trustworthy and a highly competent vet. Read Less

Dr Ray's office is a wonderful experience. It is a caring and warm office with very competent care provided by the entire staff and Dr Ray. It is not a huge clinic type atmosphere but a smaller personal experience. My pets have received great care there every time we have been. They also have a great groomer on site. Read Less

In the process of moving to Fayetteville, GA we had a need to kennel our basset for the last trip north. The Fayetteville Animal Hospital is a clean well run well equipped facility and we will be using them for all our pet veterinary and kennel needs while living in this area.
