Dr. Keith Cox has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1990 and has been serving Flowery Branch and surrounding communities since 2005. If you are searching for a veterinanian and hospital staff that will treat you and your pet as part of the family with personalized and compassionate care, then you have selected the right place. Dr. Keith Cox is a licensed veterinarian who is well experienced in small animal veterinary medicine. Your pet's health and well being is very important to us and we will take every step to provide your pet with the best possible care. Pet Care Associates is a full service animal hospital. We take emergency cases as well as routine, surgical, intensive care, and dental cases. Beyond providing first rate pet care, we make an effort to keep our clinic comfortable, kid-friendly, and a calm environment so your pet can relax in the waiting room and look forward to meeting his or her own Flowery Branch veterinarian. About our Veterinarians:
Dr. Cox
Keith Cox was born in New Orleans and graduated from Auburn University. He has worked as a large animal and small animal veterinarian and as a biomedical researcher since graduating from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. He joined Pet Care Associates in May of 2005 and has taken on the role of ownership since October of 2008. His professional interests include; keen interests in internal medicine, pathology, clinical pathology, and developing new diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities to serve his clients. Dr. Cox is married to Pam and has two teenage sons. His interests include hiking, fishing, reformed theology, church planting, growing tomatoes, and amateur astronomy.
Dr. Dodson
Vanessa Dodson grew up in upstate New York, and attended Cornell University for her undergraduate degree. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia in 2002. She has been practicing small animal medicine since then, both day practice and some emergency work.
Dr. Dodson has been working with Pet Care Associates part-time since January of 2005. She says, “I enjoy all aspects of small animal practice, but especially enjoy surgery, dentistry, and feline medicine. I really enjoy the personal touch that Pet Care Associates offers to its clients, and the high quality of medicine that is standard.”
