Our family has been clients of this practice for 33 years. We have had 8 dogs, one cat and a lop eared bunny. My daughter was also an employee there during one summer when she was in college, so we also have a little inside knowledge of the practice as well. After Dr. Sundstrom retired, we continued as clients. Around the time Dr. Sundstrom brought Dr. Funk into the practice, we had a golden retriever who had cancer. Dr. Funk was taking a night class at UGA and voluntarily offered to take him to the University Vet Hospital for treatments on her way to class. And since Dr. Tarpley has joined the clinic, I cannot say enough about her care, concern and compassionate bedside manner and professionalism. Both my girls will be 13 soon. Dr. Tarpley recently removed a massive, malignant tumor on the back of Sam's tongue, and she was amazing. Her aftercare and concern has been heartfelt! I would highly this practice to anyone. My only suggestion would be to discuss in advance, when possible, the procedures being provided and charges for them with the individual doctor providing them. Read Less
