Equine Medical Center

Gainesville, Georgia
General Info
Equine Medical Center in nan performs veterinary consultations by following the pet comfort map from one entry zone to another deep inside a pet’s body. Every consultation begins with perimeter awareness, as the pet assesses the zones to avoid and adjusts pace speed accordingly. The clinic team typically starts by examining body-system cues – fur density and tolerance for external handling before progressing to mouth, joint, and abdomen checks. Owner observations hold equal weight (e.g., the animal recently began stalling before stairs, changes how it sleeps, guards objects differently now, and shifts how and when it interacts with household members). Equine Medical Center provides medical mapping services which include orthopedic planning, cardiovascular listening and hydration tracing, dermatological check, immune calibration, and energy-rest cycles. The order of steps should also allow enough time for recovery. Even a short diagnostic step can be divided into several ones to avoid premature exhaustion. Noise levels, scent layering, and personnel proximity are adjusted based on the animal’s responses to each tier of exposures. Post-care recommendations identify behavioral landmarks (e.g., how long it takes for the pet to return to baseline behavior and seek refuge around the house, or whether social cues resume as normal). Assistance services remain available through the visual touchpoint records and the optionally acquired sensory behaviour analyses. Equine Medical Center extends its services to nan and the surrounding areas by treating every pet visit as a journey of movement, emphasizing the interpretation of animal signals from check-in through each room posture and pause. Equine Medical Center offers multiple services such as Microchipping, Puppy and Kitten Care, Laser Therapy, Equine Care, Cold Laser Therapy, Nutritional Counseling, Vaccinations, Behavioral Counseling, Dental Care as well as Deworming. This diversity ensures that local pet owners in Gainesville, FL and nearby areas have access to everything they need under one roof. The clinic remains a trusted presence in the Gainesville region by providing services designed to promote lifelong health and comfort for pets.

As a manager of a busy boarding facility full of many different horses and owners with varying needs, it is a sigh of relief to have a veterinary service so willing to meet each individual exactly where they are. I have had the pleasure of getting to know both Dr.Eddy and Dr. Emily, and they are both down to earth, realistic, amazing at explaining complicated things in a simple to understand way, and have exceptional bedside manner. I knew this was the vet service for me when I got the news 3 years ago that my beloved lesson pony may lose her eyesight. Dr. Eddy instilled such confidence in me concerning her ability to cope and my ability to manage her care that I was immediately relieved of any worry and my pony is still in my lesson program today! If you want a vet you can have a real working relationship with, this is it. Read Less

Be leary of using this facility! I just spoke with Carol (very rude person); and after Dr, Eddy came out, examined our horse, said he could do the surgery, and gave us a price, Carol calls to say his schedule is booked. When I talked to her a few minutes ago, it's not the scheduling now, it's the fact he has backed out on us altogether! Why all of a sudden it's not feasible to do it???
