My Chihuahua is always afraid of going to vet, but the staff at this location knows how to handle him quickly and efficiently without stressing him out too much. The prices are reasonable for each of the visits. The front desk and all the staff are professional, friendly, and polite. I like to arrive a little early then the scheduled appointment time because they do let him be seen early. Overall, I recommend this place for your pets. Read Less

All of the staff here is phenomenal from the vets all the way to the front desk. They make my animals feel right at home and while Dishka still doesnt like the vets, Atlas absolutely adores everyone there! We have seen every vet there and Dr. Davis is by far our favorite. after reading all of the reviews, I felt compelled to add to the great care this facility provides. As it has been stated several times, this facility is AAHA Accredited. For those with negative comments, you are certainly entitled to your opinion, but understand the service and accreditation that this facility carries. Additionally, they have done a wonderful job with my lab, Jake. They know us, they know his medical history and for this area, is the only vet that I can walk into and be seen, PERIOD. It may be 3-5 weeks on post and while it may cost less, there are times when my dog can't wait that long when I need to kennel or groom him. So I will say to the staff at Liberty Veterinary Medical Center, continue doing what you are doing, The positive comments certainly outweigh the negative ones which is a testament to your commitment and dedication to the local community and their pets!! I want to thank Liberty Vet for having such kind and caring doctors and staff. They have provided great care for my dog, Roxy, for the past 5 years. Unfortunately, I lost my sweet Roxy a few days ago to an attack by 2 other dogs. Roxy was rushed to their clinic, and everyone was very compassionate and provided the best possible care to my dog in her final hours. I have recently moved to the area, and have brought all of my animals in, and the staff have been extremely supportive of each of them. The first thing that sold me on this place, was that they were AAHA certified, as we have a 2 time rescued pit-mix, that needs that, as her last vet highly recommended it. The staff worked with her, and her visit went amazing. Normally, she's shaky and fearful, but she was relaxed and calm, and they got us in and out, and she was just excited! My little mini long haired dachshund got all of his shots updated, and they even rescheduled his follow-up booster to accommodate the follow-up of our dynamic duo's declaw and taking of their man-hood. After each visit, I get a phone call to make sure that my fur-babies are doing ok. I can schedule either on-line, on my phone through an app(who doesn't love that?), or by a phone call. The clinic is very clean and quiet. My dog was seen by Dr. Rich for a yearly checkup and some general preventative meds as we just moved to the area, and need to get him on more than just heartguard. Dr. Rich was very friendly and did a full exam, checking everything on my old pup. The vet assistant (Akia) was very sweet as well and did a great job restraining him without being rough. They also didn't judge me for doing my own shots, and didn't push lyme or flu vaccines which was nice. Stacy is wonderful as well, very quick to check out and also answered my questions about pricing on a dental estimate. This place is STRICTLY here for financial gain. I was over charged about $400.00. My cat had pyometra which is an emergency surgery type situation. They completely took advantage of the emergency situation we were in and charged us 1,000 bucks to get her well again. 1,000 dollars!! The first time I took the cat there the vet charged me 180$ for the first visit and ruled pyometra out as an option and that's exactly what it was. I also paid for a physical exam and they did not physically examine her. I had to Google my cats symptoms and tell the vet what it was. My cat also had ear mites and they over looked that as well yet claimed she had a physical exam. There are other options out there people. Shut this awful place down. They only want your money. The staff are rude. The office manager sits at her desk with her butt hanging half way out. It's unprofessional and disgusting. Read Less

If I can give this vet clinic 0 stars I would. I got to the clinic 10 minutes prior to my appointment, filled out my paperwork for my dog since we were new clients there. They placed me in a room to wait about 30 mins later. The nurse came in and got some information about my dog from me (I was there for an ear infection). Its 50 dollars right off the bat to take your dog here which I understand and is normal, however they told me in order to figure out what was wrong with her ears they needed to do swabs and put it under a microscope which was going to be 24 dollars. So basically I have to pay money for them to charge me for a certain medication. I agreed, but this makes me feel like this vet is all about money because why can't you just look at the ear and then charge me for the medication Im already paying 50 for you to see my dog. the nurse brought my dog back in the room and told me the vet will be right in to discuss the results. it took another 30 mins for the vet to come in with the same nurse. There was no apology about my wait time. The vet looked into my dogs ear with a light and told me it was swollen. The vet then told me he needed to prescribe my dog a steroid and he wanted to run a blood test to make sure my dog was healthy enough to take this medicine the test was 80 dollars, I declined because I know she is healthy. The vet then left the room and said he was going to get the medications. I waited another 10 mins. The nurse came in the room, no vet he disappeared and didn't even say goodbye, or thank you for your business, or I'm sorry for the wait. It was very unprofessional and my whole bill came out to be 180 dollars- I'm not mad about spending the money, but instead I feel upset that I spent the money with this business because my experience was so bad and they don't care at all about their patients. Finally, I just want to add that I asked the nurse what was shown under the microscope when they took the swabs, what kind of bacteria was there and she couldn't give me an answer she said it was one of two things. either rods or another name which i dont remember. she said she could double check with the vet, but she never did and never let me know and I feel like thats weird because how do they not tell me if i paid for this test and why did i even have to ask. I dont write reviews- especially not huge summaries, I came here because this seemed like the place with the best reviews in hinesville, but i will never return stay clear of this place, another vets office deserves your business more than here. Never have written a review before, but this place is Awful had an appointment and had to wait a whole hour before getting looked at! When i did get looked at had to wait another 40 minutes to get whatever medicine was needed. Can tell they dont care about the well being of the animal definitely in it for the money. I am completely happy with this vets office and the people who work here. They have been so helpful and caring with my fur baby. The only thing I wish they'd is offer payment plans or something. Other than that they're amazing and I will continue to take my fur babies here. Read Less

We've been seeing the staff at LVMC for several years. I have two cats with frequently reoccurring health problems. The staff has helped me manage their conditions and keep them comfortable. They've been kind, courteous and conscientious about the expense of pet care. I'm very grateful for their services and the quality of their care.Read Less

A couple stitches and some antibiotics for my dog, after everything this place throws in it is 400 dollars for something that could of healed on its own if I was a mean person and it didn't get infected. This place I'm sure does a good job. But they over medicate my dog didn't need painkillers strong enough to make her drool for 12 hours straight when she wasn't really in any pain in the first place. Also this seems extremely expensive. To all the soldiers... there is a vet on base I would suggest going there. Read Less

About 4 weeks ago a newborn kitten came into my life unexpectedly. Having never fostered any animals before, I had no idea what to do and was in full panic mode for this poor kitten with its placenta still attached. Liberty vet medical center was the only clinic I called that actually called me back. Since then, they have taken a very caring hand to checking on this kitten and making sure everything is going well. The day after his birth, after his first appt, I received a call from the medical center just checking in to see how he was doing. One day the little guy became weirdly lethargic and they took me in even though it was their closing time to check on him. Basically, the point I am trying to make is that they sincerely care about the animals they take care of and see, which I consider to be a very important quality for beloved pets medical needs. The pricing is decent (military discount is available) and the level of care is superb. I really could keep going on and on about how great of an experience I've had with them.Read Less

This was the best service that I have ever experienced as a pet owner. the staff was friendly, informative, and very gentle with my pet. Took our boy there today for advice about lesion on his ear. They were extremely caring & professional. Mr. Bailey was happy with the way they were careful with his ear while getting specimens. He is going back for surgery and biopsy of what can become a very serious problem if left untreated. It is wonderful what Dr. Ahrens has done bringing this clinic into technology. This office has been in business for a long time. They get you in quick both with getting an appointment and the waiting room. Prices are reasonable. The vet technicians/assistants are really good with our dogs. I haven't made up my mind yet about the vets because I've only seen one female doctor. Read Less
