My dog was very sick. From the moment I walked him in I was put at ease feeling he was in great hands. Everyone treated my buddy like he was a member of there family. Dr. Chapman, Brent, and the ladies at the front desk made sure my dog had everything he needed to get better. Awful experience! If you come here they are only going to milk you for your money. My dog wasn't feeling well but "alert" as the vet said himself and they immediately jumped to $160 blood work for pancreatitis and assured me that that would be the way to diagnose it. After the test was done and he was explaining to me that there is a suspicion of pancreatitis he goes 'but we won't know unless we run an additional test and that $37', seriously?!? I asked him why we didn't do that test first and he gave me the BS of 'well, they go hand in hand with each other', BULL! my sister in law works as a vet tech at Suwanee Animal Hospital and she said they could've done the cheaper one to know and then done blood work if they thought there was a greater risk. When I asked him what the treatment was he slapped on another $60, um, no! I only went to this vet because I lived close and there wasn't any appointments at their original vets office until tomorrow but I have learned my lesson! And when I told him no I don't want to do any treatment as of right now because I wanted a second opinion he goes " okay, well, pancreatitis isn't something to joke about and your dog will die if you don't do anything about it". Seriously?! Thanks for the judgement, you have NO idea how much money I have spent on these dogs to make sure their lives are healthy. I will do treatment but not with YOU. ...Amazing place...I live an hour away and I don't mind to spend time in car to drive over there, because I know that my animals are in best professional, loving, caring hands...I also had to use once emergency service on Sunday and I had great fast respond.... My dog had same day surgery witch safe my dog's life....All employers are super friendly and they treat you and your pet like their own family. All of them they have bunch of animals at home on their own...what tells me that this clinic is not here just for business and make money ,but they are animals lovers and they are here to help .....Prices are very, very low compare to other places. We have a different vet we use for our cats. The past year, I have had two "emergencies" and my regular vet was unable to see us. Both times Hoschton Animal Hospital bailed us out. Obviously, when you are experiencing an emergency, you tend to be emotional. The staff was welcoming from the office, to the technicians and finally to the doctors. Ironically, both visits involved "poop". The first time, my sick cat relieved himself on me. I was given a clean shirt to get home. The second time, a towel was soiled, and the staff tended to it quickly so it wasn't an uncomfortable ride home for my cat (or me). I am typically very loyal, but I may have to divide my time between the two hospitals. I am so thankful that HAH was available to provide great care for my pets. Read Less

I started taking my fur friends to Hoschton Animal Hospital when it was in the Depot. Through all of my trials with wonderful dogs and cats (parvo, grand mal seizures, car accident where a car ran over my little dogs legs, cat wounds, treating my Chow for Addison's disease, then helping me through his death, and last of all their kindness when my 19 year old precious cat needed to go to sleep). I want to give Hoschton Animal Hospital a shout out because they truly care about you and your pet(s)! I was at a loss when my husband and I tried to rescue some kittens that had been abandoned my their mother. We were clearly late in the game and sadly lost some. I called for help (anything!!) to vets around the area and they were at best annoyed. When I called HAH they said bring them up and lets take a look. :D The doctor and the staff answered a lot of questions and helped me help the kittens. They went above and beyond with their care. I trust them and they have shown to be loving and gentle at some very bad times ( 5 pets had to go to heaven) and surgery on both my dogs back paws this past year. I took my bearded dragon to them just to find out gender and she was having trouble going to the bathroom.  She was active and behaving normally at that time.  While testing for gender, she was thrashing about, as lizards do, and then froze in place while still being worked on. They took her out of the room.  After her exam, when they gave her back to me, she wouldn't open her eyes again and wouldn't move on her own.  I thought she was just exhausted and took her home.  She died within 24 hours of her pet visit.  DO NOT USE THIS PROVIDER.  If I could give less than 1 star, I would.
