My family recently got a Papillon puppy (yes, AWWWW! is right!) and I think one of our greatest concerns about bringing home a new pup was finding the perfect vet. We had another dog for almost 11 years before she passed away, and she had a RIDICULOUS amount of health issues that no vet was able to solve (it got to the point that we saw around 6 different vets within 1 year). Needless to say, we had pretty horrible vet experiences and certainly didn't want to relive those days. So, after searching around for what felt like a million hours, I decided to try out this vet and so far, so good! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the vet technicians know a ton of information. They thoroughly address any concerns you have and keep you at ease, and of course, Dr. Hargett is really great -- I only saw him for a little bit, but he was very pleasant and offered extra information about the Papillon breed in particular. Recently, we had to leave our barely 3-month-old pup at their boarding for a few days, and obviously, we were quite apprehensive since she's just so young and tiny! However, she came back as happy as ever, and actually seemed to have grown a bit! They gave us an evaluation sheet, which rated her as "adorable" hahaha Boarding is relatively inexpensive compared to other boarding services (PetSmart, other vets, other boarding center) and believe me, I have checked them all. Daily rates are based on your pet's weight, which makes sense, and is pretty affordable. However, they do offer many other optional services (such as a fancy bath, brushing teeth, extra play time, etc.), which cost extra. The only thing I thought was unclear was the bath: I understood that the bath was included in the basic boarding rate, but apparently this mandatory basic bath is an extra $20-something - a cost I wasn't expecting. I mean, it didn't cost an arm and a leg, but still, that wasn't clear to me from the beginning. Oh well...Well, since we're on the negatives, the only other "negative" thing is the size of the lobby/reception area - it is fairly small and cramped, and if it's bursting with patients going in and out, it's kind of inconvenient. It would be great if they expanded or something! But otherwise, the clinic is very homey feeling, cozy, and comfortable.Oh! Don't forget - if you give your email, you get coupons! Sweeeeet. LOVE this.Hope to be coming around for the next 15 or so years.... ;) Read Less
