Dr. Benson and staff clearly have a passion for animals! When my dog got hit by a car, we called the clinic and were not even previous clients. They were closed, but opened the clinic just for us. When I brought my cats in, he asked how my dog was doing. Also, if you have any questions about abnormalities or illnesses, the guy is like a walking encyclopedia. Very informative. This is the only vet I will ever use!

Had an emergency situation with my nearly 9 year old big fur baby, Zeus today. I have always taken both my fur babies to Summerville and done business with them for nearly 10 years. I have had friends that I recommended the vet in Summerville to as well, but today when I was so panicked and upset after Zeus had been missing for a day and a half and finally, by the grace of God, made it back home, I called Summerville and told them it was an emergency, I was talked to very rud...ely. It was obvious that they didn't want to take any time to check him out. They were not caring, nor concerned, in the least.Thank God for Villanow Animal Clinic! The Dr himself came out to help bring Zeus inside and actually sat in the floor to attend to him!! All of the staff was very pleasant and friendly. They DEFINITELY have my business and at least 2 more patients! Thank you so very much! See More

After a super bad experience @ animal hospital in Dalton ( which I will never go back) my baby went in sick there and came out with Kennel cough The Dr would properly treat her? We went to Dr Benson which talked to me almost an hour about her explained everything gave her shots and medication, she is so much better! And I would like to add that I got charged almost $400.00 to treat my baby for one sickness but she came out of there with another sickness? Dr Benson charged me $82.00 big difference and this is not even the wonderful service I and my fur baby received for Dr. benson and his staff!!!!

My poor puppy was given 60% chance survival when diagnosed with parvo. Dr. Durden explained our options in a very considerate way. We chose to try to save her. Dr. Durden called several times to update us, and told us how she would sit with her and care for her. I was very impressed by the professionalism and concern for my puppy. The call finally came. Dr. Durden and the Villanow animal clinic team had saved her life!!!
Dr. Benson did the surgery to spay her, and he is amazing as well.
I am very grateful for all their hard work, and the care received. If you are looking for someone to care for your animals, look no further. You found it!!

Highly recommend Dr. Benson and his staff. They are compassionate and understanding when it comes to having to make difficult decisions about the life of your four legged family member. Answered all the questions we had and even waited until additional family could arrive to be present when having to do the most difficult thing a person could choose to do. Dr. Benson is an old school down to earth vet, he's always handled my dogs shots and has performed surgerys on them when needed. Everyone at the clinic is friendly and everything they have done for me...

I went to this place with someone who had a puppy. I would recommend this place to anyone who was a sick pet, or has a pet that needs a check-in, because of great service and friendly employees.
