if I could give zero stars I WOULD!!! this clinic is fine for simple things like nail clippings... but if your dog has any REAL problems they are completely USELESS!!!!! Misdiagnosed my dog without batting an eye and insisted they were correct without doing so much as running an X-ray and overcharging us by an insane amount!!! extremely dissatisfied!! if you actually LOVE YOUR FURBABY then take them to woods animal hospital in norcross where they COREECTLY DIAGNOSED AND TREATED MY DOG for a REASONABLE PRICE!!!!! We just moved to the area and called a bunch of vets for pricing. Not only did Killian Animal Hospital have the best prices but the receptionist was friendly and helpful so I decided they were the best fit. When I got there I saw Dr. Hopper with my cat Malibu who had lost a lot of weight. Dr. Hopper was so wonderful with her (as were all of the techs!) and talked with me for a while about possibilities and outcomes. When her blood work came back she called right away and explained the plan of action. She has since been in contact to check on her. I am so thankful that this is our new vet and we will be bringing all of our animals here! Read Less

My Bichon has been nervous at vets her whole life (9 years)- to the point where she lost hair and got hot spots. She isn't nervous at all with Dr. Hopper and staff. I can't thank her enough for her help with Chloe's diabetes maintenance. 5 stars for sure. Read Less

I recently moved to the area and with me came my fabulous 9 year old Australian Shepard, Piper, who needed her annual exam and shots a few months after we arrived. Being in digital media, I used the resources I actually sell to search and seek out the best of the best nearby. I found Dr. Hopper through excellent reviews on numerous reputable sites and made an appt. I was WOWED by her, and her staff, so friendly, caring and compassionate. She was professional, listened to my concerns about Piper aging and was very communicative. A few months later, I adopted a Saint Bernard puppy for my husband. In her initial appt. with Dr. Hopper for puppy shot boosters, she found Stella to have demodex. The staff at this animal hospital dote on Stella when she comes in for treatments and we can't be more thankful they are the ones caring for her. It is dIfficult to tell if they missed us, which means they were spoiled during their stay with Killian Hill amAnimal Hospital. Both Dr. Brady and Dr. Hopper are brilliant vets and compassionate. The vet techs and office staff are knowledgeable and very pleasant. It must be a great place to work, for the same employees have been there a long time. Well they have come through for my Boxer, Savanna Banana likes to eat or swallow things she shouldn't. The first time she had to have surgery to remove the object. This time "we" thought she did it again but after the tests and X ray's, she won't need surgery. They are all caring and awesome folks here! Read Less

Growing up in Rural NC, tradition would have it, I've had a dog or three my entire life!  I've lived in an metro ATL since 1988, and Killian Hill Animal hospital has provided some of the best care for my animals.  Dr.Brady, Dr. Hopper and Dr. Robertson are talented veterinarians, each with their own special talents that compliment each other so well to make for a skilled well-balanced team to give your pet great care.  They fully explain diagnosis, care plans, prognosis. They completely and compassionately work with their clients when faced with treatment decisions for the best outcomes.  It's apparent all the staff members love their jobs and their clients too. This dog was referred to a specialist after failing to improve. A board certified internist performed an ultrasound which showed a possible foreign object. The owners elected surgery the next day. A board certified surgeon performed the surgery, the dog recovered and went home. Unfortunately, she had a complication and later died. Read Less

We have been using Killian Hill Animal Hospital for 16 years with little to no complaints. Our precious 5 year old Golden was sick with stomach problems. Dr. Hopper assured us it would go away and nothing serious was wrong. Boy was she wrong. Upon taking her to the emergency vet we found that she needed surgery because an ultrasound (something Killian Hill couldn't offer) showed a small toy was lodged in her stomach. Several thousands of dollars and a dog that is no longer with us, we can't help but to think that Killian Hill dropped the ball. Since we were new to the Lilburn area, we were in need of a vet. After reading all the reviews for Killian Hill Animal hospital, I decided to disregard the review entitled “Cold” as it didn’t seem credible. I am really glad that I did. I had a great experience and quickly made an appointment to bring our other dog in.Upon entering the business, I was greeted warmly by the staff. I took note that they looked me in the eye when speaking to me and gave clear explanations to my questions. I found them very friendly and professional. I especially appreciated that when directing me to an exam room, they took care that my dog didn’t confront another dog in the waiting room. We saw Dr. Brady and I really liked him. He actually sat in the floor by my dog and made him at ease with the situation before moving into the exam. I enjoyed his sense of humor and found him to be very kind-hearted. I felt that he took great care to understand all the details of the health problems we were encountering. He was very helpful in explaining his diagnosis and gave me a good idea of what to expect financially, so that we can prepare for that. Additionally, I noticed that he treated his staff with a lot of respect and kindness.I would heartily recommend this animal hospital to everyone. Read Less

I have been going to Killian Animal Hospital for over fifteen years now. When I started going there it was only . Doctor Brady. Things have changed over the years, they have gotten so much better. The staff is exceptional and Doctor Brady Doctor Hopper are the best. They are caring and always there to answer all concerns you have about your pets. I only wish their were more stars on this page. Drs. Hopper and Brady have been treating our pets for over 10 years now and we would never go anywhere else. Their clinic is always clean and the staff very attentive. The receptionists are friendly and efficient and the techs are pleasant and knowledgeable. During each visit, I have an opportunity to ask questions and explain symptoms. My pets are always well treated during visits and while being boarded. I would highly recommend this cllinic to anyone and have on several occasions. No one has been dissappointed. Read Less

I wouldn't recommend Killian Hill Animal hospital to anyone. About the only thing that they have going for them is its clean and smells like perfume. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment and I was rudely ushered into a room by a short haired receptionist who didn't even bother to greet me. I sat in the room for what felt like forever before an overly hyper blond tech, Kayleigh came into the room and grabbed my dog and took him to the ""back"". I didn't realize procedures couldn't be preformed in front of me. The exam and vaccinations were given in the back without my consent. Is there something they needed to hide? Why else wouldn't they preform his procedures in my presence. My dog was then brought back to me and Dr. Hopper came in the room, and basically told me the vaccinations and exam were done. And my puppy seemed healthy, then left the room. Some bedside manner she has. I assumed she must have been in some sort of hurry until I reached the lobby and realized mine was the only car in the lot. I didn't realize me coming to them with my animal was such an inconvenience. I will not be going back to Killian hill and I will tell everyone I know not to go. Read Less

After having had a horrible experience with our cat's previous vet, we decided to try Killian Hill. They had been highly recommended by several of our friends that we trusted and decided it couldn't be any worse than what Midnight had already experienced. What we found was doctors and staff that really care about the animals they see and who are willing to take the time to talk to the owners and make sure they address all our concerns. The staff is always friendly and it is obvious that they really like animals and that they love thier jobs. We cannot speak highly enought about the care that our cat has gotten there - he used to cry the entire way to his previous vet's office (after they went through a buy-out and *his* vet left) - but he just curls up in my lap and purrs now. Killian Hill has a very caring staff. They are more interested in treating your pets & caring that they are receiving the proper treatment than how much money is to be made off their patients. Appts. are readily available with people actually answering the phones. Doctors will phone back to answer any questions regarding your pet problems. Read Less
