Mountain Park Animal Hospital (MPAH) in Lilburn, GA is a full service companion and exotic animal hospital. We treat: dogs, cats, pet birds, rabbits, rodents and ferrets. The hospital was established in 1976. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime.

After at least 10 years of taking my pets to Mountain Park animal hospital, no more. What used to be a family feel vet office has turned into a non-caring, long wait, money hungry business. Every time you call, you are always put on hold and usually for a significant amount of time. Every visit, there is a long wait before they number one answer your call and the number to actually come and get your vet from the parking lot. Jenny in particular is awful. She is short with a rude tone and condescending with her words. She acts as if they are doing me a favor and being our vet instead of treating me, my family and my animals like a valued patients and customers. Dr. Jerry, I believe was recently also so rude and judgmental about a food I had found as a suggestion for our new Great Pyrenees puppy. She was unable to find it by googling and assumed that it therefore was not a good food. I quickly googled it and found the information and emailed it to her as requested so that she could look it over and inform me as to whether she recommended the food or not. I never got a response even after requesting it a second time.
Two visits ago, the person being my dog back (a known runner, who actually only has one eye because he ran off once and got hit by a car) carelessly let him slip away and he ran across the street.

My little Ally was diagnosed with congestive heart failure at another vet who I had been going to for a few years. I was just there that morning with them and was told the other doctor who I saw 2 days earlier gave her medicine that would take a week to work. They gave her one that would start working right away.. so they said. To make a sad long story short.... She died that afternoon in my arms while I was rushing to Mountain Park Animal Hospital because it was right down the road. I ran in the waiting room crying and told them my dog may be dead and to help me. They all rushed to take me in to a room, Dr. Leck came in and pronounced my little Ally dead...my heart broke! Dr. Leck and her team were so compassionate and tried to comfort me.... I felt like I had died too! I just wish to God I had taken her to MPAH when I first moved to Mt. Park so she could of had early treatment. The vet at Woods had said in November that he heard a little murmur but it was not serious enough to put her on heart medicine.......he was wrong! Gretchen came in to make arrangements for Ally's burial and was so sweet and comforting. Dr. Leck and her crew gave me the emergency/compassion treatment I needed. I would recommend Dr. Leck to any one who wants a Doctor who is both knowledgeable and treats your love one as if they were her own. I just can't say enough about her and her team! Thank you for everything Dr. Leck!Just wanted to let you all know minutes before Ally died she looked up at me and started wagging her tail at me as if to say Good Bye and I love you! I love you Ally!

I could not imagine taking my pets any where else! We have 2 rabbits, and just recently added a puppy to the mix.All three are taken to Mountain Park and see Dr. Leck. She is one of the nicest, sincerest vets I have ever met. She takes her time and is extremely gentle with the pets. Between Dr. Leck and the vet techs they do everything they can to make my fur babies as comfortable as possible.

Mountain Park Animal Hospital is a place that really cares about their patients. Especially Dr. Leck, who has been my vet for a long time. She is friendly and a good listener with great “bedside manner.” Plus, more than once she has discussed the pros and cons of newer treatments with me and I greatly appreciate the fact that she is willing to research the latest veterinarian advancements.

Mountain Park Animal Hospital demonstrates true dedication and compassion. Our poor kitty contracted a severe cold/virus. After taking her to different vet previously, she did was not recovering and ended up severely dehydrated and malnourished from not eating or drinking for days. We called Mountain Park early in the morning and the front office was polite. She put us in for the first appointment. After examination, the doctor provided an honest prognosis and suggested a less expensive and less evasive option. She administered an injection and IV fluids. The vet tech was extremely caring and treated our cat with care and kindness. Because our cat has FIV, she may never get well, but the staff still offered us a chance to save her without breaking our wallets. Whether the kitty survives or not, we really owe it to Mountain View Animal Hospital for at least trying and not writing her off as doomed.
Here's an update on our kitty --- She is making a speedy recovery and is eating and drinking. She's enjoying being outdoors again and is no longer showing signs of being sick. Thank you Mountain Park Animal Hospital for saving our baby kitty!

My dog revived care from Dr. Leck she was friendly and quick and answered all of my questions then the downside came the techs came to finish up and I ask Natalie if I could have my dogs nails trimmed she looked at me in disgust and rolled her eyes and said well your going to have to wait until I can get another tech. She never came back two other techs did and quicked my dogs nails 4 different times. I won't be back.

We have been clients of Mountain Park Animal Hospital since 2001 and the only way we would ever leave this practice is if we moved more than an hour away. We have had 9 animals under their care over the years and we've always left there happy and with our pets well cared for. They take the time to explain what's going on with your pet and we've never felt rushed with them.
The doctors are all kind and knowledgeable, the staff is made up of nothing but wonderful people, and this entire practice cares about the animals under their care in the most wonderful way!
We highly recommend this practice for your pets.

My girlfriend was looking for a new vet so we came here and took a tour and got our dog a few shots. The customer service was great, but my god it has to be 85 plus degrees in the hospital not to ment...
My girlfriend was looking for a new vet so we came here and took a tour and got our dog a few shots. The customer service was great, but my god it has to be 85 plus degrees in the hospital not to mention it got even hotter when we went in the kennel. I asked about it and the response I was given was it needed to be hot for surgery.... That doesn't make any sense. The girl giving the tour was pouring sweat and so was the doctor that gave my dog the shots. Being in a really small room with no a/c is not fun everyone was dripping sweat. I thought maybe it's just this one day, went back yesterday and it's still piping hot. I would not leave my dog at this place it's too hot.

We took our dog to MPAH for the first time today. We had a wonderful experience. The whole staff was so sweet and caring. They really took time to explain everything that was going on. I worked in the animal industry for 12 years and I am very picky about where we take our fur babies. Letty seems to love them as well, so we will definitely be making this our new home for vet care.

I travel 40 minutes here from Buckhead just to see Dr. Leck. Well, and the whole staff is just so nice, it's always a pleasure (something that I've found lacking elsewhere). My parents were long time fans of Dr. Leck and attribute her to extending their dog's life by quite a number of years. I now use her for my ferrets, as there are few vets who will see them, and even fewer who are as knowledgeable and caring.

I love this animal hospital. The staff here are friendly and knowledgeable. When my dog was pregnant we came here to see how many pups she would be having. Dr Jerry not only told us how many pups but also what to expect when my dog went into labor and how to handle any problems that may arise. Once the pups were born, I brought them in to be seen by Dr Jerry. I won't go anywhere else now. The last time I visited with the puppies, we saw Dr Leck. She is great as well. She helped us by offering to put the puppies on the hospital's Facebook page so that we can find them homes. I have had pets my entire life, been to MANY vets and even worked for one but none of them are as good as Mountain Park.

After at least 10 years of taking my pets to Mountain Park animal hospital, no more. What used to be a family feel vet office has turned into a non-caring, long wait, money hungry business. Every time you call, you are always put on hold and usually for a significant amount of time. Every visit, there is a long wait before they number one answer your call and the number to actually come and get your vet from the parking lot. Jenny in particular is awful. She is short with a rude tone and condescending with her words. She acts as if they are doing me a favor and being our vet instead of treating me, my family and my animals like a valued patients and customers. Dr. Jerry, I believe was recently also so rude and judgmental about a food I had found as a suggestion for our new Great Pyrenees puppy. She was unable to find it by googling and assumed that it therefore was not a good food. I quickly googled it and found the information and emailed it to her as requested so that she could look it over and inform me as to whether she recommended the food or not. I never got a response even after requesting it a second time.
Two visits ago, the person being my dog back (a known runner, who actually only has one eye because he ran off once and got hit by a car) carelessly let him slip away and he ran across the street.

My little Ally was diagnosed with congestive heart failure at another vet who I had been going to for a few years. I was just there that morning with them and was told the other doctor who I saw 2 days earlier gave her medicine that would take a week to work. They gave her one that would start working right away.. so they said. To make a sad long story short.... She died that afternoon in my arms while I was rushing to Mountain Park Animal Hospital because it was right down the road. I ran in the waiting room crying and told them my dog may be dead and to help me. They all rushed to take me in to a room, Dr. Leck came in and pronounced my little Ally dead...my heart broke! Dr. Leck and her team were so compassionate and tried to comfort me.... I felt like I had died too! I just wish to God I had taken her to MPAH when I first moved to Mt. Park so she could of had early treatment. The vet at Woods had said in November that he heard a little murmur but it was not serious enough to put her on heart medicine.......he was wrong! Gretchen came in to make arrangements for Ally's burial and was so sweet and comforting. Dr. Leck and her crew gave me the emergency/compassion treatment I needed. I would recommend Dr. Leck to any one who wants a Doctor who is both knowledgeable and treats your love one as if they were her own. I just can't say enough about her and her team! Thank you for everything Dr. Leck!Just wanted to let you all know minutes before Ally died she looked up at me and started wagging her tail at me as if to say Good Bye and I love you! I love you Ally!

I could not imagine taking my pets any where else! We have 2 rabbits, and just recently added a puppy to the mix.All three are taken to Mountain Park and see Dr. Leck. She is one of the nicest, sincerest vets I have ever met. She takes her time and is extremely gentle with the pets. Between Dr. Leck and the vet techs they do everything they can to make my fur babies as comfortable as possible.

They give alternatives, suggest wellness ideas etc. When considering another dog offered suggestions on evaluating breeders as well as how to blend a family of an old dog and puppy. She is friendly and a good listener with great “bedside manner.” Plus, more than once she has discussed the pros and cons of newer treatments with me and I greatly appreciate the fact that she is willing to research the latest veterinarian advancements.

They need to ne more knowledgeable about what services they offer. Like I said you lost a customer today and few others that go there. Mountain Park Animal Hospital demonstrates true dedication and compassion. Our poor kitty contracted a severe cold/virus. After taking her to different vet previously, she did was not recovering and ended up severely dehydrated and malnourished from not eating or drinking for days. We called Mountain Park early in the morning and the front office was polite. She put us in for the first appointment. After examination, the doctor provided an honest prognosis and suggested a less expensive and less evasive option. She administered an injection and IV fluids. The vet tech was extremely caring and treated our cat with care and kindness. Because our cat has FIV, she may never get well, but the staff still offered us a chance to save her without breaking our wallets. Whether the kitty survives or not, we really owe it to Mountain View Animal Hospital for at least trying and not writing her off as doomed.
Here's an update on our kitty --- She is making a speedy recovery and is eating and drinking. She's enjoying being outdoors again and is no longer showing signs of being sick. Thank you Mountain Park Animal Hospital for saving our baby kitty!

I was expecting A+ service from all the amazing reviews I have read about Mountain Park, I have to say I am highly disappointed. My dog revived care from Dr. Leck she was friendly and quick and answered all of my questions then the downside came the techs came to finish up and I ask Natalie if I could have my dogs nails trimmed she looked at me in disgust and rolled her eyes and said well your going to have to wait until I can get another tech. She never came back two other techs did and quicked my dogs nails 4 different times. I won't be back.

We have been clients of Mountain Park Animal Hospital since 2001 and the only way we would ever leave this practice is if we moved more than an hour away. We have had 9 animals under their care over the years and we've always left there happy and with our pets well cared for. They take the time to explain what's going on with your pet and we've never felt rushed with them.
The doctors are all kind and knowledgeable, the staff is made up of nothing but wonderful people, and this entire practice cares about the animals under their care in the most wonderful way!
We highly recommend this practice for your pets.

My girlfriend was looking for a new vet so we came here and took a tour and got our dog a few shots. The customer service was great, but my god it has to be 85 plus degrees in the hospital not to mention it got even hotter when we went in the kennel. I asked about it and the response I was given was it needed to be hot for surgery.... That doesn't make any sense. The girl giving the tour was pouring sweat and so was the doctor that gave my dog the shots. Being in a really small room with no a/c is not fun everyone was dripping sweat. I thought maybe it's just this one day, went back yesterday and it's still piping hot. I would not leave my dog at this place it's too hot.

We took our dog to MPAH for the first time today. We had a wonderful experience. The whole staff was so sweet and caring. They really took time to explain everything that was going on. I worked in the animal industry for 12 years and I am very picky about where we take our fur babies. Letty seems to love them as well, so we will definitely be making this our new home for vet care.

I travel 40 minutes here from Buckhead just to see Dr. Leck. Well, and the whole staff is just so nice, it's always a pleasure (something that I've found lacking elsewhere). My parents were long time fans of Dr. Leck and attribute her to extending their dog's life by quite a number of years. I now use her for my ferrets, as there are few vets who will see them, and even fewer who are as knowledgeable and caring.

I love this animal hospital. The staff here are friendly and knowledgeable. When my dog was pregnant we came here to see how many pups she would be having. Dr Jerry not only told us how many pups but also what to expect when my dog went into labor and how to handle any problems that may arise. Once the pups were born, I brought them in to be seen by Dr Jerry. I won't go anywhere else now. The last time I visited with the puppies, we saw Dr Leck. She is great as well. She helped us by offering to put the puppies on the hospital's Facebook page so that we can find them homes. I have had pets my entire life, been to MANY vets and even worked for one but none of them are as good as Mountain Park.

What I have appreciated the most is their willingness to discuss every option they know to be available to care for our Westies; no question is too small to ask. You're in good hands at Mountain Park Animal Hospital.

I can't say enough amazing things about Dr. B and her staff! Her staff is so friendly and kind and Dr. B is OUT OF THIS WORLD! My animals love her and she is amazing with my toddler when I have to bring her! I will never use another vet clinic again! If your dog needs an undercoat removal - go to them! They do an amazing job! Much better than Petsmart!
