If I could give zero stars I would. Took my cat to get neutered. Picked him up and they didn't shut the crate all the way. So while trying to put him in the car the door flung open and he ran. They tried to blame it on me saying I had a faulty crate. I got him there just fine in said crate. I was told they would leave a crate out all weekend to help find him, they picked it up the next morning. They could care less that my cat is lost. Instead of taking responsibility they put blame on me after loosing a loved member of my family!! Do NOT go here! Read Less

The receptionist was very rude when I had to reschedule at the last minute because of work and school obligations. If I don't go to work I can't pay for the appointments. So you would think they would be a little more understanding. Will never give them my money again. Read Less

We had a male and a female feral cat done. Quick and efficient, always helpful. They encouraged us to get the whole litter of kittens dona as well, at a considerable discount. We had that done as well. Hopefully we are out of the new cat business now, but I really recommend Paradox for excellent service and price (nice people, too). Read Less

They are very busy at drop times so I suggest you not call during then. They do not promote selling products but they do suggest and offer proper medical treatment. They do appreciate your business but once you bring a pet in, their concern turns toward its health and well being. Read Less

Very cheap neutering and spaying, cheap vaccinations and checkups for kittens and pups. They neuter and spay cats from 8 weeks old; research also says it's fine from then on. They're about three to five times cheaper than any of my local vets. It's perfect if you have stray cats running around to feed and you don't want to have those breeding. Stray cats that are older have to be vaccinated with rabies here, but don't need anything else if you can't afford it. They treat every animal with respect and kindness here. You can also go here for checkups. Everything needs an appointment, and you can book a neutering or spaying online. The only bad thing I can come up with is that their disinfectant from the surgery smells gross. Other than that, I see no difference with other vets, and even think them kinder to my cats and kittens than others I've tried. Read Less

This place has got to be a joke! These people have got to be some of the rudest, miserable, sick of their job people I've ever delt with in my life! I came in at 6:10-6:15, which I understand is after they closed, but I found an adorable dog running on the side of Guthrie Cemetery road, and wanted to see if they could quickly scan for a microchip so I didn't have to drive ALL THE WAY to Eastside animal clinic in Grayson, after just getting home from a funeral. But, no the lady at the front desks excuse was "all my technicians are gone, and the scanner is put up." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! First of all it DOES NOT TAKE A TECHNICIAN TO SCAN FOR A MICROCHIP, Anyone who has common sense can do it. And there's no way all your techs are gone because there were 3 employee cars, someone picking up their dog, and mine in the parking lot. Therefor that was a lie!I worked at a vets office; not to mention I was a technician for almost 5 years. I know the drill, it takes 10 SECONDS to scan for a microchip! YOU COULDN'T SPARE 10 SECONDS to see if the lost dog had a chip. Then I told the lady at the front desk "Its just a scanner, can you not get it out," and she said it's put up. So basically what your telling me is you're to lazy to do it yourself, and don't want to waste your time. And God forbid if the dog has a chip because then you might actually have to do some work and stay for a little while and help this dog. That's what you are supposed to do HELP the animal!!! Never would the animal hospital I worked at turn someone away because they just didn't want to deal with it, or they were to lazy and wanted to go home!God Lord, this place is an absolute joke!!! No respect for people or animals. I will be sure to let all of my veterinary friends, clients, and friends/family know to absolutely NEVER step foot in this place, because clearly there is no compassion for animals there.Oh, and it smells of a deep foul animal odor in there. Everyone was nice, knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, and answered all my questions and reassured this nervous pet owner about her baby and surgery. The place is clean and open. After surgery, Lamarris (hope I spelled it rt), was so helpful and gentile with "Puma". I just love this place and the staff. Even the lady(can't remember her name)that owns the black Boerboel dog was just down right friendly and a joy. She has taken great care of two of our babies and let us meet hers. I rate Paradox Spay and Neuter clinic very poor, They may do procurers cheaper than normal Veterinary clinics  but there professionalism really has a lot to be desired, In talking with one of two Vets one said that our dog has a few fleas,  Then another calling herself a Vet.(which I doubt)came in and,  said the dog was infested, and needs treating.  trying to sell other services.  We told her we would take care of the fleas before the upcoming surgery, but she wasn't satisfied with that, In quote " I've seen dogs die from fleas"  This so called Vet wasn't old enough to have seen many dogs .  Hell I've had more dogs in my life than she had seen ever.  I'm Seventy years old and have been raising dogs professionally for 55 years. and have seen thousands of dogs with fleas. back when  dogs was treated with cotton poison dust. and have never seen flea infection  sever enough to kill a dog.  If she is a Vet, I'm sure she failed the customer service part of school. We brought in a stray for neutering, and they were extremely helpful. They helped with advice on catching the cats. They were incredibly professional.There were about a dozen people that were there to drop off at the same time, and they had us all processed and out the door within 15 minutes. They were very informative. They provided clear post op instructions.He was ready before they said he would be, so the pick up was quick and easy.You can't beat their prices, especially for strays.Just need to now catch his cohorts and bring them there too.Highly recommend this organization. They're doing a good thing at this clinic. They offer cheaper spay/neuter than what you'd pay at you're regular vets office and also offer financial assistance. My dog was spayed today and also got her rabies vaccine and heart worm test/medicine and we had no problems. They were friendly and answered all my questions. The place was clean and seemed like they scheduled things well (I thought with it being a clinic setting we'd be waiting with a ton of other people, but this was not the case). They also called me right after they were finished with her to let me know how it went. If we get any other dogs or cats I'll definitely return here to get them neutered or spayed. Read Less

I have NEVER been so disgusted with customer service at a veterinary facility.  The prices are low and with that being said,  I have learned the real meaning of "You get what you pay for".  Regardless of that, I am paying for your services...and without your paying customers, you would be non-existent.First off, I walk in to pick my dogs up from a spay procedure (my partner dropped them off as I had to work).  No one made eye contact with me and I waited a while for anyone to even acknowledge my presence (mind you, there was no other customers, and there was a receptionist sitting at a computer about 5 feet in front of me).  Even if you are doing something, it takes 5 seconds to say "Welcome to "...", we will be with you in a second".  Instead, I get ignored.  Finally, she says, "Can I help you?" (no smile, borderline irritated tone".   I told her why I was there and she makes me sign paperwork to pick them up...whatever, thats fine.She gets my dogs from the back and that was it.  I HAD to ask about any possible complications and expected recovery time.  She then seemed a little irritated and asked me did I recieve my Post-op instructions.  I told her no and even if i did, she should have walked me through them (as that is usually what you are suppose to do when you offering surgical services)....The next day I call them because one of my dogs was not eating or drinking and the other was in severe pain and had not urinated in 16 hours.  So naturally I am concerned about my Fur kids.  The lady had no compassion to help.  She instead seemed extremely agitated about my concerns and told me "Just bring her up here or go see your regular veterinarian".  SERIOUSLY?  If this is how you are treating your customers, I am afraid to imagine what is happening behind closed doors to the animals in your facility that cannot communicate what was actually done to them.  Usually at clinics with animals, you have warm and really nice front desk people that kind of give you a warm and fuzzy about leaving your babies with  them.  YOU WILL DEFINITELY NOT FIND THAT HERE.  If you don't care about that, and you just want a cheap service...this is the place for you.  But if want passionate animal lovers, STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!I truly regret saving a few dollars as I truly don't know what was done to my babies.  Spend the extra money for better care and service.
